Enjoy the comforts of home at some sites—including flush toilets, showers, and a kitchen.
This is a 12.5 acre mini farm. We have a garden, bee hive, 30 fruit trees, bamboo, hard wood trees, 4 wheeler trails, a pig, guinea fowl, chickens, ducks, turkeys, cats, and dogs. We are working on a site for a single meat cow too! We have 2 sites, 1 is a trailer and 1 is a camping spot/cabin on top of our mountain. The cabin up there was built in the 60-70’s probably and is a total mess. People are welcome to stay in it if they choose. There is plenty of area for multiple tents near the cabin. The trailer is a basic 1990’s trailer. Everything works in it. There is a furnace, 2 full size beds, a full kitchen and bath. There is a window AC for hot days.

This secluded hilltop campsite sits deep in the hills of West Virginia and includes access to 8 private acres of forested terrain. At the heart of the site is an old, weathered cabin — simple, sturdy, and full of character. You’re welcome to camp beside it or make use of the cabin as shelter during your stay. There is no vehicle access to the site — you’ll need to hike in your gear along a short but steep trail, so come prepared for a back-to-basics adventure. A fire ring is available for evening campfires, perfect for roasting marshmallows and stargazing. On especially clear nights, you may even catch a glimpse of the northern lights. Hiking trails weave through the hills, offering a peaceful escape into nature. Though the site feels remote, it’s just 5 minutes from the town of New Haven and only 15 minutes from Mason, WV. This is a rustic, hike-in experience ideal for campers who enjoy privacy, elevation, and that off-the-grid feel — with a touch of Appalachian charm.

This is a no-frills 1990s trailer with all the basics, perfect for a quiet retreat or a place to unplug and enjoy nature. It features an open kitchen and living area, two bedrooms with full-size beds, and an extra room that can be used for sleeping or storage. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the bathroom includes a standard tub/shower combo. A large sectional and window AC unit make the living space comfortable in warmer months. Outside, you’ll find a covered porch with a smoker and propane grill—ideal for simple outdoor meals. Enjoy views of the garden, fruit trees, our main home, and the wooded mountainside. Our honeybee hives are just behind the barn, and you’re welcome to ask questions or observe from a respectful distance. A personal fire ring is available out front, and if our large 7’x7’ communal fire pit isn’t in use, you’re welcome to enjoy that as well. This is a modest stay surrounded by the beauty of our working homestead—peaceful, rustic, and full of charm

Campsite/Cabin on top of Mountain
What a cool little place. Stanley and his family have something going for them. The cabin as your night time ambiance is great for any dark enthusiast. 4 German Shepherds for those lovers of the breed. Having the turkey as your white noice was a great experience. So many other cool city escapes scattered across their property (even pigs). Take out what you take in as always!

Mountain trailer with views!
Had a great stay at Stanley's "Mountain Trailer with Views" campsite! We needed a place to stay for a work weekend, and every nearby place was booked up, but at Stanley's we felt we had an even better time than our co-workers who'd gotten a hotel room. The views were beautiful and it was certainly a step up from tent camping! Maybe a little dusty, but the trailer was sanitary with a working stove, comfy beds, and hot water, so we didn't mind. Great potential and a fun weekend getaway - wish we'd had the chance to check out the trails on the property, but we'll be back next time!
