Just down the road from beautiful Lake Stephens, this easy-access spot offers a convenient place to park your camper, van, or small RV while you enjoy the area’s many nearby adventures. Within minutes, you’ll find local eateries in Glen Daniel, a scenic drive over Bolt Mountain, and quick access to Beckley for shopping, dining, and supplies — along with many other local attractions. You’ll be less than 30 minutes from Fayette County’s outdoor destinations, including world-famous spots like the New River Gorge Bridge, Grandview, and ACE Adventure Resort — perfect for hiking, rafting, or simply taking in the breathtaking Appalachian views. For a relaxing day by the water, Bluestone Lake and State Park are only about 40 minutes away. While you’re here, take time to visit the Upper Big Branch Miners Memorial in Whitesville — a moving tribute to the 29 miners who lost their lives in 2010 and a powerful reminder of the region’s deep coal-mining roots.
