RV6 - Riverfront Primitive RV Site
The primitive RV site 6 was amazing! Spacious (we had a pull behind teardrop trailer as well as as a tent), clean and the river access was right across the road! The camp hosts were so attentive and accommodating. The camp office and coffee tent area were a great addition and the firewood was handy and easily accessible! We did not do any of the hikes near the campsite, but we heard great things! We drove the half hour to Blackwater Falls one day and then another day the 20 minutes to Thomas. Both were fantastic side trips!

Absolutely loved our stay at this riverside campsite! The location was peaceful and beautifulāperfect for relaxing by the water. Jim and Sharon were incredibly helpful and welcoming, which made the experience even better. We enjoyed it so much that we've already booked our next visit. Highly recommend!

The listing photo showed the site right on the water, but it was not. Pairing the pictures of the sites that they correspond with would help prevent disappointment. Not a bad plot, just not what I was expecting.

The location off the river is unmatched. We throughly enjoyed how much shade the campground had. Would definitely recommend for all!

RF1 - Group Riverfront Campsite
Had a great time and the location was perfect. Stayed at RF1, Right beside the river and surrounded by trees. I would go back again. Thank you to the wonderful host for making sure we had a really enjoyable moment.

Convenient location, especially if you are fly fishing in the area. We stayed at the C campsites, which are nice albeit a close to each other. But otherwise a perfect place to base out of. There are many trout and warm water streams and rivers within a 45 min radius. Parsons (gas, groceries and couple of restaurants) is a few minutes away. Caretakers are great, would definitely stay here agin.

The cabins had plenty of room and the staff were very friendly! All instructions were clearly laid out and had plenty of qr codes for venmo payments. The sites were secluded and had many areas to explore! I will definitely return here!

C4 Spacious Glen Camp
Wow! We loved our stay at this private site along the Dry Fork of the Cheat River! We stayed at C4 and had easy access to a perfect river beach. Vincent and his team were so friendly and helpful! We enjoyed talking to them as they made their rounds, and had an absolutely wonderful time hiking, fishing and rafting in the area. They made it easy to get firewood and kept everything in good condition around camp. I enjoyed the plants around camp.. tread lightly on the native plants so others can enjoy them! Will be back again with friends!

RF1 - Group Riverfront Campsite
We had great time. Especially enjoyed camping right next to the river. This is my second visit to Brooklyn Heights. I am a novice camper and like how itās very close to essentials 5 miles to town but still feels like youāre away from it all! Vince is always available if you have a question. Will definitely be back easy travel from southern Ohio š

A1 Vanishing Pond Camp
We had a terrific time on Vincentās land even in heavy storms! He graciously upgraded our tent sit to a small cabin free of charge while he quickly and effectively managed the results of the heavy rain. He was kind and friendly when chatting around the property. The cabins were cozy and dry during the frequent rain! Iād recommend this site to people looking to get away.

Great spot for hammock camping! I enjoyed the fire pit, river access, and easy drive-up sites. The amenities (low cost coffee/drinks, electrical access at the coffee tent, portapotties) were also a plus! Excellent location to explore Blackwater Falls / Seneca Rocks / Davis / Thomas / etc.

What a hidden gem! Beautiful surrounded by the sounds of the river. Clean campsites, friendly fellow campers. Took awhile to get here but so worth it!

One of my favorite trips. Cycling the road from our site to the dead end and then the other direction to bottom of hill gave us 8 miles round trip. This was as beautiful as any trail Iāve ever been on. We only encountered one car. Highly recommend .
Vince is definitely a five star host. Very accommodating. On bad weather days he messaged with suggestions for ways to pass the time. He provides an extensive list of attractions in the area. Very responsive to messages. Iāve used Hipcamp a lot and have never had a better host. Iāve only used a campground twice before and never had service as outstanding as this.
Speaking of service, our T-Mobile had no issues here.
Campers were all very quiet.
On our way here we pulled off at the Fred long centennial park for a beautiful view . Great spot that is about a 30 minute drive from camp for watching the sunset, even right from the warmth of your car. Also good for night sky gazing. The view is northwest (mostly west). This is also a spot on the 2025 Tucker County scavenger passport, located at the bench. We used the list as a way to explore Tucker County. We enjoyed that.
Parked in parsons at train depot to ride rail trail in each direction. Around 18 miles round trip paved.
The town of Thomas has a great vibe. We enjoyed the menu and music at the purple fiddle. Enjoyed Davis too. Black water falls, experimental forest. So worth our 6 hour drive to get here.

I really loved this campsite! Vincent is a great host and the campground is really beautiful. I had an electrical issue on my RV and his onsite handyman (Jim) took care of it.
Not only is a beautiful place but itās getting better, Vincent has great plans for the future that will make a great place even better. Highly recommended.

RF2 - Group Riverfront Campsite
The riverfront sites are so worth it. Great for swimming. Surrounding towns and state parks were also gorgeous. The owner was very communicative about the siteās facilities/amenities, and made sure to keep us apprised if our site would flood after some bad weather before our trip. Would definitely go back!

Little bit off the beaten road. But nothing too crazy. My trailer is 32ā long and 13ā1ā tall. Nothing too crazy worry about. But backing into the site and leaving enough space for my toy hauler ramp to lower was just on the edge. Great location. Beautiful and peaceful. Weather was crap when I was there. But thatās no oneās fault. Campsite owner is friendly and helpful too

We enjoyed our riverfront view at site R8, plenty of room at the site. The spring foliage offered enough privacy between campsites and shade from headlights on the road. Vince & the camp host were very friendly & enthusiastic about the campground and the future plans for it. It's nice meeting people who are passionate about what they are doing. Thanks for sharing the land and hospitality.

My wife and I just enjoyed a wonderful three-night stay at RV Site 2 in Brooklyn Heights, West Virginia. Even though the campground is still developing, it already feels like a hidden gem. The amenities are great, the hostās attentiveness is fantastic, and the natural setting is simply stunning.
Biking, walking, and sightseeing around the area are a mustāthe surroundings are beautiful and serene. The river shore is especially special, perfect for quiet moments or just taking in the views. Nights are peaceful, and listening to the sound of the river under the stillness of the night is a truly unique experience. We left feeling refreshed and connected to nature. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a quiet, scenic retreat with charm and promise!

Brooklyn Heights was scenic and peaceful. We enjoyed exploring the swinging bridge, waterfall, creek that runs through camp, and beachfront including fire island. The kids felt like they were in an enchanted forest. Porta pottyās, firewood, and coffee were easily accessible from site B3 but it had enough space and tree cover to feel private and comfortable. Vince and staff had great communication, offered ideas for things to do, and kept a well maintained campsite. We definitely want to come back again!

Good spot with plenty of room on land and water if you wanted to swim. It was rainy and too cold for us to try too but definitely worth another visit.
There were options for mini cabins and RV Pull ins. Everything as described.
Firewood on site which is a plus.
We met with Vincent as well and he was a pleasure to meet.

I did a cabin stay. The ground was wet and it rain at night. Glad I was not using my tent. The river changes were very noticeable from day to day. May is rushing the season. Rafting and reasturant options few or nonexistent in May. Yes recommend but not until summer
