West Virginia’s Coolest, Newest, Vacation Cabin Rental and Hip Camping Resort! The idea for creating a cabin rental/camping vacation getaway in the Allegheny Mountain Range came to life over several meetings at a Bob Evans restaurant in Columbus, Ohio, between co-owners Paul Liimatta and Joe Boffo. Joe had been accumulating land in the Genoa, West Virginia, area for several years and had dreamed of building cabins, tree houses and uniquely designed vacation rentals and campsites on a beautiful area called Hampton Ridge. Our cabins and camping area sit on 300 acres of wooded paradise and are surrounded by 50,000 acres of private and public lands and activities such as kayaking, archery, fishing, hunting and golf are all available either on the property or nearby. Our camping and cabin rental facilities are ideal for outdoor events of all kinds. We’re located in Genoa, West Virginia, 27 miles south of Huntington and the Ohio River.

The Riverside Log Cabin is a little piece of heaven amid the trees at the edge of Hampton Ridge. The Amish handcrafted log cabin was built especially for the 2017 Cleveland Home and Garden Show by Weaver Barnes, and shipped to Rustic Ravines in one piece on a flat-bed tractor trailer ;)

The "Mountaineer" Rustic Yurt

Our Mountaineer Yurt is an extremely unique structure...An Octagonal Yurt made from trees that were harvested from the property...Our pictures tell you a lot and give you an intriguing glimpse but you will still be blown away when you see the structure in person; it's a real gem! The (8) main support logs are great Ash Trees that were harvested from the property because they were dying from the dreaded Ash Beatle. The metal roof is a Corn Bin Roof that provides a 20' high dome in the center ;)

A Rustic Ravines Camping Adventure

Rustic ravines was great. We went on Labor Day weekend so they were having a buffet and talent show when we first arrived. The directions were easy to follow and signs were posted as we got closer. They have zip lining there and amazing looking cabins. We camped out and the host was very helpful and has built a really unique place not far from where we live. This place is a dream for anyone with a side by side or atv. Would def stay at rustic ravines again. Would love to try a cabin

It was a perfect family friendly get away! We hiked and rented a Gator. The hot tub was a nice extra! Joe and Diana were wonderful! I would highly recommend Rustic Ravines to anyone! The only negative was the Zip Line was not in use while we were there.

Extremely nice place and curious what it will look like once the new saloon style building is completed. Enjoyed the hot tub as well as a nice drive around the perimeter of the property. Certainly recommend folks follow the driving directions for those without off roading capability, since there is only one approach with blacktop. Ultimately, wish it was closer as I'd love to go back again.

Cabin Rentals

This was a great stay for my family and me. Joe and Paul were really friendly, showing us around the property and telling us about their future plans for the space, which sounds amazing. I can't wait to see where they are in 1 year. I definitely recommend this place to anyone that wants to enjoy the outside, but have accommodations that make you feel like you're in a fancy resort.
