Kingfisher Flats offers a peaceful creekside camping experience with ample tent space right by the river. Many campers appreciated the tranquility and scenic beauty, but noted the lack of amenities like picnic tables and the challenging trek from the parking area to the site. While the site is advertised for up to 8 people, several visitors felt it was best suited for smaller groups due to space constraints. Overall, it's a popular spot for those looking for a serene escape, though be prepared for a bit of a workout getting there.

tent camped for two nights right next to the river. secluded, with a few cute trails around to explore. the composting toilets were something out of a wes anderson film with how cute and utilitarian they are. clean, and well kept. access to other streams and water points of interest were available and not far from where we camped. awesome hosts. will be back for sure!

We stayed at king fisher. It was a neat campsite right by the water, very beautiful for sure. There was a ladder to get down to the water, but it wasn’t quite warm enough for us to enjoy this time of year. Would probably be lovely on a hot summer day! The hike in really wasn’t too bad, this seemed to be one of the closer spots. There is one kinda steep hill, but it’s short. I know the listing doesn’t claim to have a picnic table, but it would be really nice if they could add one in the future, especially for the price of the site. The site claims to allow 8 people, but I think that would be quite cramped. It was the perfect size for 2 people, I would think 4-5 max would still be comfortable.
