We always dreamed of living on the water and this is our dream home. Willow Lake is beautiful and we enjoy it year round with kayaks and paddle boards. The sunsets are truly amazing and we hope you'll love them as much as we do Learn more about this land: Come join us at Willow Lake! We have two, semi-private sites with a great view of the water. Bring your kayak or paddleboard, take a hike on the .5 mile lake trail across the lake, check out the birds and turtles, or simply take in an extraordinary view at sunset. Located just 7 minutes from Cheney, 8 minutes from Medical Lake and 12 minutes from downtown Spokane, the location is convenient to access. Willow Lake is a spring-fed, alkaline lake that remains refreshing year-round and has medicinal properties that leave your skin feeling silky after a swim. The sites are located a short walk from a small, undeveloped beach area where you may swim, kayak or paddleboard (at your own risk, no lifeguard on duty). The sites include electricity (30 amp) and water hook-ups. However, NO sewer hook-up is available and no dumping is permitted. Please note that we are a short drive from I-90 and depending on the wind direction, you may hear some freeway white noise. The sites are set up so that RVs / vehicles will block freeway visibility and noise, as well as wind. Welcome! We hope you love this lake view as much as we do.

Willow Lake Campsite

We would stay again for sure! We had reserved spot 2 as we were not sure we could fit in spot one, we have a 34' Class A but when we got there it looked like we could fit no problem, so got a hold of Cori and he didn't have that spot reserved for anyone and he let us move! Spot 1 has a great view of the lake.

First of all Cori was an amazing and extremely responsive host. The site was well kept and clean. My family including 3 daughters and 2 dogs enjoyed spending the day at the lake. A short walk and we were picnicking on the lake. Our dogs enjoyed the paths and water. The only downfall was the fact we didn’t bring kayaks. There is highway noise but that is clearly stated in the description and once near the water we couldn’t hear it over my kids enjoying themselves.

Willow Lake Campsite

Great spot, just not for us. Beautiful view of the lake. Host is friendly with great communication. Directions sent in confirmation were helpful. Spot 1 faces the lake, level gravel pad, water and electric. Have to have excellent backing skills to get to it- down a long driveway, and around the side of the barn. The position of the pad is brilliant - matches with the curve of backing up perfectly. The downside for us was we have a dog- the grass on the path is filled with those sharp thistle grass, and tons of foxtails (super dangerous for dogs). Had to carry my dog back. Tried to walk instead by the road and were greeted with two German shepherds barking and lunging at the fence at the end of the driveway. it was terrifying. So we left within 10 min of arrival. If you don’t have a dog, it’s beautiful. Otherwise, don’t recommend for dog owners.

Great overnight stay

Willow Lake Sites was a pleasant oasis in our travels. The location was very picturesque and had everything we needed for the overnight stay. The lake was beautiful and our dog was able to go in for a dip to cool off. A definite thumbs up. The location was right off the interstate and easy to get to.

Easy access and spacious

Would stay here again - if only there were full hookups, we would have stayed a week. Cori is super friendly and accommodating. The site is private with small chirping birds by day and a sky of stars at dark. The highway noise is nearby but it was no bother to us - Would have loved if the door of the camper faced the lake but you can’t have everything! Thanks for everything Cori. Maybe we’ll see you next year!

Just what we needed!

Beautiful lake spot!

This was a great spot! Cori was super responsive (even though we booked pretty late) and the spot was beautiful! Right by a lake that we were able to let our dogs swim in. Would definitely recommend!
