This was our first spot on the peninsula and it couldn’t have been better. Mary is such a warm hearted host, she even provided us with cooking equipment for our trip. The kids picked tons of blackberries and we had a peaceful night

Peaceful with a view

What a peaceful spot right off 101 in Quilcine! Mary was very nice and their set up is great. Clean port a potty, water, table, firepit, hammock stand, and two chairs. I will come back again for sure!

Wildwood Farms - Olympics Area

Wildwood Farms - Olympics Area We stayed here from 8/9-8/10 (Sat-Sun) and had such a lovely experience. Mary and Pete, the hosts, were incredibly sweet and welcoming. Our one-night stay at this beautiful Olympic-area campsite was peaceful, scenic, and well worth the visit. We loved the never-ending water faucet--supposedly the cleanest water around--paired with a gorgeous mountain view. The site came with camping chairs and a fire pit (though we couldn't use the fire pit due to seasonal burn restrictions). We especially enjoyed watching the friendly chickens roam around. Mary mentioned they're about 4 years old and still laying 6-7 eggs per 15 chickens--very impressive! Their eggs ($6/dozen) had deep yellow, vibrant yolks that were clearly organic and fresh. Yes, the chickens can be a little chatty in the morning, but it added to the charm for us. The port-a-potty was far nicer than average thanks to the scents and care Mary and Pete put into maintaining it--truly appreciated! It came stocked with toilet paper, and the water faucet (with a blue handle) was easy enough to operate once you got the hang of it. Just remember to bring your own soap or dish soap, as those aren't provided. We stayed at Campsite One, which was spacious enough for 6-8 people and offered a fantastic value. Between the friendly hosts, fresh eggs, mountain views, and peaceful farm atmosphere, this was one of the best campsites we've enjoyed--and we'd happily return.

We had a great time camping here. We had 2 families sharing 2 of the sites, with kids on one and grownups on the other. The sites were close enough to feel ok about this, but far enough away to provide some distance/privacy. The property was lovely and the views were amazing. Loved the shade provided by the trees, and the pigs were a real treat. But note that there is a direct neighbor to the east, and we had the misfortune of being there during some yard work with a backhoe.

Incredible Oasis and Location!

INCREDIBLE hipcamp! It exceeded our expectations and we could not recommend it more. Mary is the most lovely host who clearly takes a lot of pride in the land and space. All the campsites looked beautiful, but we had #3 which gave our family a lot of great sun, shade, space and privacy. The kids and adults both loved the swing in the large gorgeous maple tree, and we put our chairs in the little babbling brook to cool down and chill out. I will say, as someone who loves to camp but isn't excited about porta potties- this one really is exceptional. And the drinking water is phenomenal. So nice to have the water accessible and easy to use. The town of Quilcene (pearl of the peninsula!) is awesome and don't miss the Quilcene village store (amazing!). We checked out Leland Lake, went on some great local hikes, and maybe our favorite thing was going swimming in the Quilcene Bay when the tide came in. It was so warm! As we came back to the hipcamp and visited the pigs, we saw incredible sunsets and moon rising above the silhouette of the mountains. What a gorgeous find. Thank you Mary and Pete! Hope to come back before long!

What a great spot! So much to do in the area. The campsite was easy to find, quite secluded, and in very good shape. There is a cute ravine and a huge tree at the site. Super easy walk from where you park the car. They have a few wheelbarrows to help move you gear. All around wonderful. Mary was super nice and helpful too.

Beautiful farm for a quiet weekend

Beautiful farm with space for kids to roam around. We camped in the apple orchard and it had sufficient shade for a sunny and warm weekend. There is a small creek which the kids loved to dip their hands and legs in. Mary was welcoming, nice and provided a quick tour of the place when we arrived. Would definitely recommend this farm for a quiet and pleasant weekend.

Wonderful spot for tent camping! The mountains are gorgeous, the camping spots are spacious, and we loved visiting the piggies. The apple orchard spot also had amazing views of the night sky and there were tons of birds for a little bird-watching. Perfect place for our first camping trip with our new dog, who had a great time.

We loved the site! Our 4 kids loved hunting for slugs in the large private orchard and playing along the shallow creek. The giant oak was a huge hit with a swing underneath ! Mary and Pete’s land was very spacious and had plenty of room between campsites.

Flowers and hummingbirds oasis!

I enjoyed staying here with family! It was very calm, relaxing and peaceful! I enjoyed all the amenities. Port-a Potty was the cleanest and nicest smelling! I loved the bouquet of peonies! Enjoyed delicious, crisp cold water from the pump! The Mountain View’s are stunning! Enjoyed watching all the hummingbirds and the property was so pretty with so many beautiful flowers growing all around.

From the moment we arrived, Mary and Pete's unparalleled kindness set the tone for an absolutely perfect camping trip. The view from our site was simply breathtaking, a truly calming and amazing panorama that made every moment feel serene. We especially appreciated how private our spot felt and the overall quietude and peacefulness of the property. We loved it so much we booked another stay before our trip even ended! We had a great time at Mary & Pete’s; they were very helpful and great to communicate with. The site is great, lots of space and plenty of shade. It’s a little bit of a walk from the parking to the site (50 yards or so) but they have a wagon you can use and it’s through a pear orchard so it’s a nice walk.

My husband and I were aching for a camping trip and stumbled upon Mary and Peter's Hipcamp. It was perfect for a chill, no rush, getaway. Beautiful view of Mt Walker and fun visits with the chickens, pigs, and their dog, Autumn. Mary and Pete were incredible hosts. Very friendly with amazing stories. We highly recommend 😃👍🏼

This was our first Hipcamp experience over 4 years ago, and this trip was just as great! North Hood Canal is one of my favorite places on earth, and Wildwood Farm is a great way to experience it. Close to amazing hikes, and some of the best clamming anywhere. The farm itself is quiet, serene, and relaxing, with a little stream running under huge, beautiful maples, lots of room for kids to romp, and friendly, welcoming host. Highly recommend.

Site w tons of privacy and beauty

We loved camping here. Mary and Pete were kind and responsive. We ended up camping on a rainy weekend and site 3 was great with plenty of space for our large tent and a couple rain shelters by the huge maple tree. The rest of the part of the land that made our site private was still enormous with a picnic table, fire pit, and 20 or so fruit trees. The stream by the site was great with water coming right off the mountain. I think the site had the name waterfall bc of a pipe with flowing water- there is no natural waterfall nearby.

Mary and Pete have made a lovely camping oasis at their farm. Excellent communication at the time of booking as well as prior to arriving. Pete helped us get our VW bus situated on the camping spot so we had an ideal view of Mount Walker.

Pete and Mary were fantastic hosts! The property is stunning. It was quiet and peaceful with the sound of flowing water. It has mountain views, pigs, chickens, blueberry bushes, and orchards. Our campsite was situated under a huge maple tree that even had a rope swing. Couldn't recommend this place more! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
