Whidbey Island Christmas Tree Farm

Great little spot on a farm. A little road noise, but a really pretty spot. They have a picnic table, a fire ring, hammocks, and chairs. There is a very clean port a potty as well. Our spot easily held 2 tents and could have fit another small one. Their is a bigger site next door, but we didn't really have noise issues between the sites. Also, nice to be able to have the dogs off the leashes so they could play. Bonus: close to the farmer's market, a grocery, and beaches. Really enjoyed our stay.

Perfect in the trees out of the sun. If you need tables, chairs or hammock choose the other two sites. also van camp will put you in the sun. Great for a tent and community. Had 4 people in this area. Bats were out at night, fun to watch.

Huge Campsites on a Quiet Property!

We reserved both large campsites for our family trip and we had an AWESOME time here! We were the only ones camping this weekend and it was very secluded and quiet. There was great shade and amenities (picnic table, chairs, and hammocks). The porta potty was very clean but almost very full, possibly hadn't been emptied in a long time. Not a huge deal, but a little off-putting to the kids haha. We had the best weekend here and hope to come back next year!

We had a wonderful stay at this campsite! The location was perfect—close to the ferry and local amenities, yet it felt peaceful and private. We especially loved how secluded the spot was, giving us a true camping experience without any distractions. We'll definitely be booking again in the future.

The campsite itself was big with plenty of space, it was nice to have a table and lights although one string of lights didn’t work and one of the chairs at our site was broken, we brought our own so it didn’t bother us. It was a pretty view but the sites were a little closer together than I expected. It was still a great place and we had fun!

The owner was very friendly and responded to communications quickly. The site was very cute, amply supplied with camp chairs, solar powered lights, and even firewood. Directions to the site were clear and easy to follow, although the signs identifying the individual camping sites were not all that easy to see as one was driving in. But after staying in state parks in Oregon and California for $35-40/night (with real plumbing and the availability of hot showers), the price for a space to park and a blue room ($48) seemed a bit steep.

Better for tent camping

There are three camp sites on this long and narrow lot. The first site is occupied by the owner in his RV. The middle site is cedar hallow, and the furthest site back and most private is big cedar. These aren’t the type of RV sites that you drive into. You have to park on the other side of a log from the camp site. Very nicely kept site and love the extra touches with the fire pit, hammocks, and solar lights. Would highly recommend for a family!

Big Cedar is a great spot for large group camping! With a fire pit, picnic table, chairs, and a hammock we had all we needed for a relaxing time in the woods. Plenty of space for our kids to run and play, and solitude in the woods made for a great family trip. On our last night we had a wild visitor, Tim was quick to come out and do a safety check and stayed for a little after just to make sure whatever it was didn’t return to harass us more. If you are looking to get away for some peace and quiet while visiting whidbey island, I definitely recommend checking out this camp ground.

Great spot and great host. Let me tell ya - when you need to take child to a Porta potty in the middle of nowhere - it is a gamble. This one looked brand new! It happened to be pouring rain for half the trip, but the place was awesome. Camping chairs, hammocks, and a nice fireplace. Good stuff.

Overall, nice campsite. Didn’t realize the three campsites were so close together, however. Also, no firewood was provided as advertised. Camp owner said to just scavenge for some…we found some small branches to make a small short fire.

We love camping here. My dog has the ability to explore and be off leash. The campgrounds are clean and ready for use. It's close to everything and far enough out to enjoy the peace and quiet.

The host was very friendly gave us some tips on local spots to check out and the site was as described and very large so it would be good for a large group. We set up camp and spent the rest of the day exploring the area worrying that there would be a lot of mosquitos due to the proximity to the trees. We were pleasantly surprised about the lack of bugs due to the HUNDREDS of swallows chirping around all evening. Enjoyed a beautiful sunset and had a very restful night sleep as it was so quiet. The only reason we would suggest to find a different location is that it is a bit far from things so you have to drive to get anywhere (unlike a beach front campground where there are things to do on foot) If you prefer not to be in the sun there is no shade so I would opt for one of the campsites on the property with tree cover. Overall we enjoyed our evening.

What a wonderful property! There are only two campsites, so lots of privacy! Also, there was a extremely clean Porta potty on site. To our surprise the owner had also set up a very nice circle of chairs around a beautiful fire pit. There is also a hammock and a picnic table. The pictures on the site do not do this place justice! Also, close proximity to a lots of fun things.

A peaceful place to spend the evening

A peaceful place to spend the evening, and a good location for exploring South Whidbey! Do keep in mind a couple of things; if you hunt for shade in the forest, bring bug spray! Also, if you're not in an RV with a bathroom, the portable outhouse is quite a walk from this site. Still, it was a nice stay!

I loved my camping experience on Tim's land! The campsites were set up so thoughtfully. Relatively private - I could see but not hear the campsite closest to me. The porta-potty was very clean and looks like it gets cleaned every week. In July, I found myself surrounded by fields of foxgloves. I would camp here again!

When I initially booked I did not think I was staying in just a grass patch. The other photos of a fire ring and hammock in the other listings down the way were conflicting to this listing. The Pad listing did state that there was a fire ring. There was not. The grass had mowed over blackberry bushes, so I could not let my dog out to walk. In addition to the old RV in the photos, there was a truck and trailer left in the field. I appreciated the very clean porta potty.

The location is beautiful this time of year (late June) with a crazy lot of foxgloves blossoming, and the well maintained grove camping under the cedars. The porta-potty was very clean, the fire ring sturdy, the provided wood dry, but yake care if you have a low clearance vehicle as the roads on the property are a bit primitive.
