This was such a great experience. My best friend LOVES twilight so the twilight dome was a perfect gift. All the fun twilight themed accessories made the trip. The dome was well maintained and provided easy access to the HOH rainforest, La Push, and the town of forks. Would definitely recommend for any twilight enthusiast's.

This was a cute little spot on a great piece of land in a great geographical area near the beaches. I will say and we got fair warning, the cows were a bit loud. They did eventually quiet down, but honestly they have us some good laughs and were a fun addition to our trip.

The views of the farm were absolutely gorgeous! Super easy to navigate and very quiet/calm environment. Loved seeing all the cows in the morning!! Would definitely sleep here again! :))

We had a good time camping in the Wandering woodlands! The description mentions the field with cows, we didn't realize how close they could get. Their fence was at the edge of our camp site and the cows could get within 10 ft or so of the tent. They were cool to see up close. She's not lying about cow noises at night! Some low "moos" crescendo into some quite loud elk adjacent bugelling noises. Some noise canceling headphones helped a lot the second night!
We appreciated the atmosphere and views over the field. Would recommend this camp ground to a friend with the caveat of bringing something to block noise while sleeping

This camp is a great location. I felt safe and comfortable. It was peaceful and shaded. The cattle noises didn’t bother me at all, but I am from Wisconsin. 😏 this was a great place to rest up before my backpacking journey down the coast. Thank you!

We loved this cute little campground! It was perfectly close to the town of Forks for us to go exploring while we stayed here. We were roof-top tent camping which was great for this camp spot; this specific site was kind of small so I’m not sure a car and a tent would fit. Other sites would prove better for grounds tents!
The camp host was completely accurate about the cows being a little loud next door, however, we didn’t mind it too much since it wasn’t constant while we were there. We’d take the occasional loud cow over a constantly loud camp neighbor any day!

Twilight Dome in Forks
What can I say this day at Wandering Woodlands was definitely a hidden gym for those looking to take the ease out of camping. This is a perfect spot to start. The domes were very well kept in greatly themed. I can definitely say, I will definitely be staying here again.

Pros: Porta potty was clean, the land is away from busy roads and you can hear nature at night, the cows are cute, the host communicated well and gave clear directions.
Cons: the tent spots are small, very close together, and are not as wooded as the photos suggest.
Overall Impression: My husband and I were the only tent campers at the site, so it was nice and peaceful. We may consider returning for tent camping during the off-season, but I would not recommend for peak season due to how close the sites are and the lack of privacy. We would, however, love to return for the bubbles. Those looked very cozy and private.

Absolutely blown away by my stay at the Twilight Dome. We were there for my birthday, which is also Twilight day. So it was an extra special occasion. The amount of Twilight details blew me away. It was absolute perfection. It was super cozy and warm. The sound of the rain on the dome made me have the best sleep ever. There is even an outdoor gas firepit and picnic table. Coffee machine and water dispenser were provided as well. And the out house was only a few steps away. It was an absolute beautiful spot to spend the night. Highly recommend.

We loved tent camping at this spot. It is so natural and immersed in the woods. The cows were so awesome to go look at in the early morning although one night they did get very loud. We were at campsite seven the ground was a little rocky next time We’ll definitely bring an air mattress, the little games and the nice cover table in the middle is a great, little add-on the porter potty was extremely clean and we loved that it had a sink right outside. Me and my family had such a beautiful time and right down the road was la push such a beautiful beach It was the perfect trip.

The signposting to the campsite is great and the bathroom was super clean. It’s next to a field full of cows which is also a bonus depending on your view! The site itself could use a bit of a spruce. But all in it was a good deal and did the job!

This campsite was easy to find and to navigate. We had campsite 3 which was right by the pasture/cows, and we loved every bit of it! We were lucky that we didn’t have any neighbors on either side of us that night, so it felt very wooded and peaceful. Not a long walk to the porta-potty, either. The only thing I didn’t care for was that the portapotty seemed to be so close in someone else’s camp spot that it felt like a tiny lack of privacy (for me & them). But overall, not a big deal. Loved that there was a washing sink next to the bathroom! It was a great night for my friend and I and I would definitely recommend this place!

The Twilight Dome was my first ever glamping trip and it was so perfect! The dome was incredibly cozy and comfortable and Roxanne included amazing details to add to the charm. The first night rain poured all night and I slept so soundly to the sound. The next night was silent but the neighbor cows were chatting and I swear in the dome, it sounded like one was singing!!! The location is ideal - minutes away from the beaches (we saw a whale!!!) and close to the rainforest. If you need a place to get away from screens and breathe some incredible clean air, you can’t beat Wandering Woodlands!!

You’re close to other campers, so rowdy neighbors can make or break the trip. However, I’ve been here twice and my first time had better neighbors (they came to crash for the night and left) whereas my most recent had neighbors that were up for hours with bright lights blaring into other campgrounds into the night. However, it’s a relatively quiet spot, great for crashing, has activities to play with friends (games at the campground provided by the host). The host is friendly, outgoing and easy to approach. The field where the cows are is absolutely stunning, especially at sunrise/sunset. Tree coverage was better in my most recent spot to somewhat avoid the rain, but I visit Forks for the rainy, moody weather, so I love it. It’s a campground I will always recommend/visit whenever I’m passing through.
