Velvaere Nordic Spa Campsite

Jen and Brett have created a really great space on their land. The campsite was clean and well thought out with string lights, electric outlet, water spigot and composting toilet to make your stay more convenient and comfortable. You need to understand that you are fairly close to their home but you do have adequate privacy and the neighborhood is very peaceful. You may hear their children playing in the yard and sounds of dogs barking occasionally, but that's country life and we enjoyed it! We also very much enjoyed visits from Sage, the family's 9 year old schnoodle, she was so sweet and also very protective of her land which made us feel extra safe. We really enjoyed exploring the whole Northern Kitsap peninsula from Kingston to Hansville to Port Gamble; the spot is in a nice central location on the northern peninsula. If you want to explore all the area has to offer and have a really nice space to camp I highly recommend this spot!

Incredible vday experience curated by these wonderful people and their luxurious spa. If you’re into the alternating cold plunge and sauna experience, this is a must try! Their camp site is also relaxing and private, nestled under tall cedar trees and string lights to set the right vibe. Big enough for a long trailer or RV, while open to tents as well. The ground is perfectly flat for both your RV/trailer/camper as well as the two tent spots. Will definitely be coming back!
