When Earl and Laurine Ingebright found an ad in a local paper for sixty acres near Arlington, in 1958, they knew it would be a place for family fun, relaxation, and their own private forest. What they could not have anticipated was the sheer diversity of projects, parties, and fun that the family would pursue on the property over the coming generations. From forest stewardship and timber harvesting, to campsites and trail construction, to rock concerts and wine making. While they have since passed, these founders began something truly amazing; A tree farm that showcases the successful accomplishment of almost every objective a forest landowner could have. Timber production, wildlife, aesthetics, recreation, and forest resiliency. Valhalla embodies all these things with so little conflict as to look effortless.

Site 2 Walk-In
Gorgeous, peaceful sites
This land is so beautiful! Each site is lovely in its own way and secluded. I’ve come here twice and loved it both times. It’s wonderful to explore the property.

Huckleberry Hill Shelter Camp
Beautiful large private Camp!
What a beautiful private serene location! :) We’ve been to many Hipcamps and this was definitely one of our favorites! The camp was large and secluded with a lovely view. We were so glad the sun came out so we could see it in its full brilliance! We loved exploring several walking the road & paths around the property and meeting the kind owner and his sweet dog who played with ours a bit! A few trails were a bit “wild”/overgrown, but understandable as this is such a large property! We appreciated the privacy and how this property is secured with two entry gates so we felt safe & relaxed the whole time as well. There was a nice shelter and picnic table as well although we didn’t use it with our pop up trailer and our own amenities. As we walked the property we checked out the other large walk in camp site. It was great too and had a nice shelter, table & fire pit as well…Only comparison of note was that its outhouse was quite a bit newer, nicer and fresher! It actually smelled good with the nice wood haha! This is a great place and property to visit with easy access, location and well marked road and camp locations. Thank you!

Rustic Cabin and Tent Site
The cabin is simple but comfortable. The land is beautiful and we loved relaxing in the evenings hearing the stream running by the cabin.

Huckleberry Hill Shelter Camp
Nice secluded area, great to not be right next to other campers, which our dogs really enjoyed as well.

Rustic Cabin and Tent Site
Already planning the next visit
What a special place. The cabin is quaint and comfortable, but what really makes the experience unique is the surroundings. The tree farm is dramatically beautiful, and secluded enough where all you can hear is the light running of a stream and birdsong. The trails along the property were so sweet, and we managed to see tiny frogs, big slugs, and ate lots of blackberries. Dave is a generous and responsive host. He kindly lended us a cooler for our stay and shared tips on where to swim nearby. Already looking forward to the next stay.

Popcorn Pond RV Camp
Fantastic
Loved our stay at the Popcorn Pond site. Perfect for our 22' Trailer, but would accomadate larger. A lot of love and pride has gone into this place and it shows. So many stories this place has to tell. You can hike/ walk on well maintained gravel roads, old logging roads, game trails in the woods, or just explore. Dave was fantastic increasing the value of this experience. Not only would I recommend it, am not home yet and i already have.
