Ok for a night but rude neighbor
The Urban Owl hosts were very nice, but I think their neighbor doesn’t like them having campers stay on the property. The neighbor decided to exercise their dog by racing their quad around the property before 7:00 am, and then firing up their gas powered weed eater to trim the grass right adjacent to where we were parked, despite the large size of the property. That went on for about an hour. That same neighbor, whose property surrounds the camp spot on two sides, uses one of the areas to store vehicles and scrap metal, so it’s a bit like camping in a junkyard, not an open field. If you’re not comfortable with stealth camping or can’t get into a state park, the Urban Owl is a safe place to spend the night, but a state park is cheaper and has more amenities, plus quiet hours. On a positive side, the shop cat is very friendly, if you like cats. If you don’t, don’t encourage it- it will come into your camper, jump on your lap if you’re sitting outside, and jump on your table if you’re making food and not paying attention to it (and it wants LOTS of attention). If you need a spot to just spend a night Urban Owl works, but it’s not really a spot you’d want to stay and hang out in.
