(We're in winter season and there is on going projects but the camp sites are still open for the time being) Twin Beach Campground is outside of Joyce Washington near Port Angeles in Clallam County. The camp sites are directly across the street from Twin Beach. It has 5 numbered spots available with private fire pits and picnic tables in each site for you to set up camp whether it's a tent or van/camper with picnic benches and fire pits. There is a small communal shack where you can prepare your meals. Fire pit available for communal use - so don't forget to bring ingredients for s'mores! Interaction with host or other guests completely up to you! Humans of all ages welcome. Once you have fully settled in - less than a min walk away there is access to a river (river showers welcome) and almost as close by you'll find the beach - surf, swim or just sit with some great views! There is a laundromat, small convenient store and gas station only 10 min away. 30 min drive in to Port Angeles where you'll find a great small town with great food, antique stores and shops. Find great breakfast at Oak Table cafe in Sequim and Chestnut Cottage Restaurant in Port Angeles are just of the great options available. Bike trails just short drives away. Lake crescent and hikes for all levels and distances all within a 45 min drive if not less! Feel free to ask for suggestions and message with any questions as well.

Site 1 - Twin Beach Campground
Recommend for all!!
First of all - Davey is a great host! He immediately greeted us upon arrival and showed us the ropes. Overall, we really loved this spot! The private beach across the street is amazing (we saw baby otters frolicking in the waves & bald eagles)!!!!! And there's a trail to a private little spring area, my husband took a cold plunge out there in the morning and it was delightful! Was a little difficult to get to, as the instructions were based on if you were coming from the east and we were coming from the west. And the road was a little hard to find. But once we were in - we felt comfortable, safe and honestly had the best sleep of the trip due to it being covered in trees! Would definitely recommend for all campers.

Loved the campground. Great location across the street from the beach. It had a good amount of space, soft mulch pad for the tent and nice tree coverage.

Site 2 - Twin Beach Campground
Overall we liked the campsite & the location! The only downfall which put a damper on our trip was the lack of accommodations. I booked this specifically because there was an area to wash your dishes at the campsite. When we arrived there was no water in the reservoir & I contacted the host to refill it. He said he would and then never showed up and never responded to my texts again. If I would have known there wasn’t a washing space I would’ve prepared more and brought my own water tubs & extra dishes. Also not the hosts fault but the neighbor does have a small dog that free roams the property and we had to walk him home everyday so my dog wouldn’t go nuts. So if you are coming with pets keep that in mind.

Wonderful Spot!
A friend and I stayed the night in camp #2. The site was spacious with great tree cover for shade. There was a lovely fire pit that we made use of. Plenty of space for two tents with the provided picnic table. Our host pointed us in the direction of some trails which we’ll be back to explore. The beach was a quick three minute walk across the road. Highly recommend!
