This is a hidden gem! This is waterfront on the river where you can relax, play in the river with your own beach for your stay. It's a Very beautiful private open RV and Trailer Site on the Skagit River. I have currently owned the property for 10 or so years. This is one of my happy places to bring friends and family and relax. This is where we get our river therapy. Nothing better than sitting by the camp fire watching the river flow and listening to the nature. There is a nice big fire pit as well as a log picnic table. Lots of room to lounge around and enjoy the peace and quiet. Watch the eagle and fish on the river as you sit by the campfire. Kayak down the river from RockPort bridge and pull out right at camp. It's about a two and half hour float down with a Kayak right to camp. Close drive to Baker Lake for the day to hike or sight see. An hour or so away from North Cascade Hwy passes. Or if you feel like a drive, head to Winthrop for the day and walk the town. Fishing can be done right at the site or a short walk to the point. Please read accommodations before booking for all hookups.. No more than two RVs unless it has been approved otherwise. There is a super strict (30 day) cancelation policy. Please review it before booking. If you change your reservation after booking please be aware that Hipcamp charges a change fee. Reservations will open on January 1st for that year.

Adam & Kira’s land is a slice of heaven and a fisherman’s paradise! The site itself is set up to be very comfortable and accommodating with plenty of space to stretch out and relax. There was great fishing on the river a few steps away from camp and a nice sandy beach around the bend where our dog loved running around and swimming. We enjoyed beautiful sunsets while grilling up some fresh caught fish and the view of Mt. Baker was incredible! We stayed 3 nights but wish we could have stayed longer. We felt very safe in the area and you can tell there’s a lot of love and good times that have been had there. We hope to return soon - thanks Adam & Kira for sharing your land!

Absolutely beautiful place with gorgeous views. Loved the river access and the trail leading to the beach entry area for the lake. Adam and Kira REALLY put a lot of thought into the campground, which is such a nice sized place. There are both 30 and 50 amp hookups, water and sewer hookups, sand here and there along with grass (which felt so good to walk in), benches, cute tables, a large firepit, beautiful trees, fun games to play (horseshoes, ladder toss, tether ball, etc…) and some really thought out landscaping/areas, adorable lighting, I could go on and on!! 😁 We were also lucky that nobody was staying at the campground next to us, so we had total privacy- loved every bit of it. The road that runs along the other side of the river doesn’t have a ton of traffic, especially at night. The river is full of fish and the wildlife was so fun to watch. The stars are also amazing, with very little light pollution. We loved our stay there and are sooo glad to have had the lovely experience!!! 😁

Quiet camping with little dogs

This place is beautiful! My husband and I had a wonderful time, and my parents joined us as well. It was so convenient that they could pull right up and have full hookups. Being right on the river was amazing, peaceful, quiet, and completely private. We were lucky enough to have no neighbors in sight during our stay. Our little Yorkies finally had the chance to relax and enjoy some freedom unleashed, and we even got to fish right from our campsite. Nights were calm and serene, perfect for campfires and laying under the stars. Cell service was a little spotty, and at night the bats come out and fly very low—sometimes close to your head, which was surprising at first. But honestly, they ended up being a plus since they kept the bugs away, making evenings by the river even more enjoyable. This was the best camping trip we’ve had in a very long time, and we can’t wait to come back.

Another good trip to Rivers Edge. Adam has a great property and despite the atmospheric river that came through on Friday, we still enjoyed the time to relax and enjoy the downtime. It was interesting to watch the river respond to all that rain. It rose and became quite muddy from how it was the day before.

A beautiful piece of property and the perfect setting for a reset! Spent 3 night at this lovely spot along the river. The pictures are very accurate. There is a tiny home on the property, but it was not occupied and it doesn’t in any way change the aesthetic or the view.. We did not travel with kids, but the river is pretty fast in front of the property but a small walk down the beach or a little trail Takes you to a really nice sandy beach area where the water is calm and the shore is all sand for playing. We watched Eagles every morning with our coffee and even saw the bats leave the bar house one evening. There is absolutely no cell service at the property which we loved. We will definitely come back again. Adam was great to deal with. Thanks for sharing your space with us

The River's Edge
River's Edge is great! Rocky beach front right on the river and a nice 5 min walk through woods to a big sandy beach. Two eagles showed up to catch their dinner each night and eat it on the beach across from the site. Very cool, beautiful and relaxing place. The site has two full hook ups, one 30 AMP, the other 50 AMP. Their is another camp site to the left of this site as you face the river. All greenbelt to right and behind camp site. Still more private than public campgrounds. Site also has big shade trees to park campers/tents under. Little town of Concrete has cute shops and eateries. Cell service is very spotty. (my coverage is AT&T) I was able to find just the right spot in the window of my camper to do any catch up text. Adam was great with communicating everything before and after the trip. Will definitely be back again.

We camped again with our motorhome at Adam & Kira’s site. It’s great to have full hookups and we love the amenities (picnic table, well maintained site, horseshoe pit, fire pit, lots of space to be outdoors) right on the river. Adam & Kira are great hosts - great communication.

I really enjoyed Adam and Kira’s Private RV campground. It was so peaceful and fun. Great river access with lots of grass/sand/rocks. The lights were a beautiful touch at night! We had a 30ft RV , used all of the hook ups which worked perfectly. They have two different entrances which made it easier to go to and from the campsite if needed. Everything was clean and well kept. Took a few naps on the hammock! Can’t wait to go back!

We had a great time at Rivers edge! We had a travel trailer and some family that did tent camping. The whole spot is yours so it feels very private. The spot is nice and open and the fire pit and games are an extra treat. A short walk down a trail and you are at an amazing Sandy Beach That’s great for fishing. Definitely stay here again!

I wish I could say this place doesn't live up to its description (because I want to easily book it again) but that would be untrue. This site is everything and more. And, no, this is not a paid endorsement. My husband and I stayed here for 4 days with our friends. It is picturesque, quiet and relaxing. The sites are fairly level and hook ups great! Adam is correct is describing the water as iron tasting, but if you have a Brita pitcher the water tastes perfect. The river is literally right there and I caught my very first fish ever learning how to fly fish right at the campsite! Even better views are to be had taking the trail to "Devils Elbow" from the campsite and Mount Baker is right there. It was really hard to concentrate on fishing and not stare at the mountain. Cell service leaves much to be desired (Cricket works great, Verizon not so much). Two arguments to this challenge: 1. perhaps offer wifi or 2. just stay unplugged (which we enjoyed). Concrete is just a skip away and the bakery there is divine and all gluten free. Diablo Lake is a must see and worth the drive from the site. Night time entertainment is amazing: as soon as dusk hits the bats come out to eat and then you can star gaze. Just bring your zero gravity chairs and sit back and relax. Totally worth the nightly charge these hosts ask for.

Great views waking up. This spot was at the end of the road. After our first day it was so peaceful and quiet, as the lot next to us had gone. Which was great, because we have an animal reactive doggie, and they also had a dog. This is the type of spot we need (as long as the neighbor is not there) because State parks are not a option with our dog. We loved this spot, and will definitely be coming back only negative was the water was really metal smelling and discolored. (Which is noted in the listing and we were told beforehand..). So even though we won't drink it, it still smells. We would like to go when there is no burn ban, so we can have a fire Can't wait to book again for a couple trips next year, late summer

Great spot. Make sure you bring enough supplies to level your trailer and hook up to the dump. Also bring bug spray and hornet spray. We will book again 👍

Our mistake was to book the weekend after 4th of July! Saturday night was a raucous night of fireworks and gunfire from the neighbors located about 40ft from our campsite. The days were filled with the sounds of quads and other off road vehicles tearing over the trails. In contrast, Sunday afternoon through Wednesday were absolute bliss. Adam offered us a free night for our troubles on our next booking. We’re thinking September midweek would be the best time to enjoy a quiet and relaxing time on the river.

This campsite was incredible! There was a massive amount of space, privacy, things to do, plenty of both sun and shade, with great access to the river. A short 5 minute walk will take you to a sandy beach, perfect for little ones and furry friends to play in the water. I think the area gets pretty busy on the weekends, so if you’re looking for quiet and serene, book during the week. We will definitely book this gem again in the future!

Great location, we went while it was of course raining but we had one good sunny day and spent it by the sandy beach that we had access to. Perfect for my anti social dogs who love to run and play in the water. If you’re looking for somewhere with a phone signal, this isn’t for you. In certain spots we could receive texts but not much more than that. We have T-mobile. But it was great to disconnect for the week. I 100% recommend this spot!

We loved our time at Rivers Edge. We enjoyed being so close to the river with beautiful views. Our kids loved exploring the site, river shore and walking the trail to “Devil’s Elbow”. It was peaceful, beautiful and a great adventure for our family.
