The Oasis Farm is located 22 minutes south of Soap Lake, a meromictic lake, historically known for its unique healing waters. A growing farm and expanding food forest in the middle of the grassland, The Oasis Farm is definitely a place to visit. Come to observe a working, completely off-grid farm during the day. Hang around for a beautiful sunset and usually a chorus of crickets in the evening. Stay the night in one of the 12 camp sites or 1 RV site and witness an amazing open sky, full of stars. Awake in the morning to see an equally beautiful sunrise and you'll probably hear the birds crafting their songs. There are multiple lakes close by where you can rent boats or take a swim. Wine tasting .. shopping .. fishing .. and more, The Oasis Farm is located 33 minutes north of Moses Lake and I-90. Come enjoy a bit of The Oasis Farm! Warning!!  We are OUT THERE!! The last 6 miles of your trek is over a gravel, then dirt/rock road, and the last 2 miles can be a bit rough at certain times of the year. There are few road signs and following directions on Google Maps will probably get you lost. Please use the following directions: Coming from Soap Lake, head east on State Route 28, turn right to head east on Rd 20 NE, turn right on Rd E NE, turn right Rd 19 NE, Rd 19 NE turns left and becomes D.7, stay on D.7 for 3 miles, turn right on Eastside Dr (roughest section of road), turn right on Highland Dr NE, look for the trees! Coming from Moses Lake, head north on Stratford Rd NE, turn left to head west on Rd 16 NE, stay on Rd 16 NE for 4.5 miles (Warning! Sharp turn to left with no guardrail at approx 3 miles), turn left on Eastside Dr (roughest section of road), turn right on Highland Dr NE, look for the trees!

Site 1 - The Oasis Farm
We liked this site, it was a gravel road getting here which can be dusty. We were the only campers so it was quiet and we could see the stars. The Outhouse was clean and not smelly. The host greeted us and was friendly and gave us pointers for places to stop in town.

I really enjoyed the peace and quiet that Katie's Oasis provided. I sat under the trees in the evening, just watching the GIANT dragonflies dart around, eating the mosquitoes. Katie was very welcoming, and takes a lot of pride in her land. I would definitely stay here again if I'm in the area. The gravel road was well maintained as well.

This campsite is wonderful! Secluded and peaceful. The hosts were wonderful and checked in on us to ensure we had all we needed. Would definitely come back.

Exactly as described. I just needed a night in the Soap Lake area to break up a monster drive. The land was soft and beautiful, the night sky spectacular and a great outhouse to use while camping there. Don't overlook Soap Lake while you're there. This is very special and sacred land!

Amazing views of endless grasslands here. It was great to have provided tables and a very clean outhouse. It's peacefully quiet out here, where all you hear is birds and crickets. This is awesome place to stay near Soap Lake, but not be surrounded by RVs and other campers.

The Oasis Farm
I have never camped at a place quite like Oasis Farm. It was like being on the wide-open prairie that the earliest settlers experienced, with hardly a soul around. At night you could enjoy the sound of crickets and the distant yip and howls of coyotes while looking up at a star-filled night sky. The hosts are friendly and kind - and quite inspiring with their various community projects! They took us to an intriguing abandoned homestead called the "rock house" - ask them about it. There is evening shade from a line of young trees but be prepared for full sun during the day. We had mosquitoes in May.

Saw an amazing thunderstorm while we stayed here! The hosts’ are very friendly and inviting. I will definitely stay here again when traveling through, it’s a very spiritual area and I’m glad that they’ve decided to share their oasis!

This was the most perfect place for my husband and I. It makes you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere yet you are less then 30 min from a town. It is so quiet you can hear every bit of wildlife and so dark you can see every star. Ryan and Katie are two of the most amazing people we have ever met. There are adorable chickens and rabbits free roaming the property. They have some amazing plans for their property and I can't wait to keep coming back and seeing their visions come to life!!!

Two nights of quiet camping with wide open views of the night sky. It’s peaceful and quiet, with occasional coyote howls, wind rustling in the grass, and bird calls from the trees. The pit toilet is clean and stocked with TP and hand sanitizer. Close enough to Soap Lake for a great day adventure. Also ask about how to get the the old Stone House - the ruins of an old stone homestead not far from The Oasis Farm.

Great spot to access soap lake or moses lake. I was in the area for a wedding and stayed here. Wide open space and great view of the stars. Hot during the day but that was to be expected. Had about 2 bars LTE Verizon and Starlink worked great out here.

Oasis lives up to its name! I spent an extended stay on the land while working a temporary job. The land is truly amazing and beautiful. The trees on the property bring in unique wildlife experiences and a true oasis in the desert surroundings. Amazing sunsets, sunrises, stargazing, and peace and quiet are all part of the oasis experience that I cam to love every single day. A little ways from any paved roads it offers and out there experience while being only a short distance to multiple places to recreate and re-supply provisions. Ryan and his family are wonderful people, very helpful and accommodating, and truly passionate about the area and all it has to offer. The family has many interesting and fun projects in the works. I give a stay long or short at Oasis my highest recommendation!!

The oasis was a very beautiful, quiet and unique place to camp and get away for a few days!! You can tell they really spend a lot of time taking care of and fixing up Their property to be fun and appealing. Tha back drop of the location also makes for amazing sunrises and sunsets! Ryan, Katie and their children were very friendly and our children played together in their yard. Visiting with and getting to know their family made the trip even better!! We will definitely be back, thank you! 😊

They were excellent hosts- helpful but not overly involved. It was a really beautiful and unique spot to stay. The shade from the line of trees was very very nice in the evening, but our tent was just BAKED as soon as the sun rose in the morning and we were eager to pack up as quickly as possible. There were more dragonflies than I've ever seen in one place, which was really cool, and I was grateful that we did NOT see a rattlesnake! Getting there was a little confusing and stressful, between our GPS getting no connection, lots of signs on the roads warning about no trespassing, and no signs mentioning The Oasis until you're basically at their house.

I really liked the hosts, and I enjoyed getting to see the pigs and goats and sheep on the farm. It was really cute! One thing, which kind of can't be avoided, is how dusty it is. My skin felt gross (and there wasn't any water to rinse off with, much less showers) the whole time, and my shoes were unrecognizable. It's a super dusty area, but I was a little wistful looking at the grass right next to us on their lawn, while being nearly ankle deep in fine dirt. Largely though, it was a nice spot, and the trees were a welcome bit of shade in a nearly treeless locale. Neat place, and the hosts (and their sweet children!) were great.

This place was great. Really pretty, well maintained. The family was very friendly as well. Pictures don’t do it justice. Also the host was very accommodating. I ended up getting much later then planned and he was still ti greet me. Will be returning sometime with my family.

Loved it here. Was a big fan. Very cute and simple. The kiddos of the host gave my girlfriend and I a lil tour of their farm animals. They have a lovely property and are lovely folks. Can be a little tough to find, just pay attention to what is posted on the site.

I forgot what it was like to camp without listening to 4,000 other people in a state park... The Oasis Beautiful property, clearly well cared for. Gorgeous sunset/sunrise, and stargazing. Possibly the best night I've had sleeping outside because the ground is so flat and there were no rocks or roots to fight with. Great, clean facilities. Bring water! Note: Be sure to look at the map before you leave. Google maps will automatically route you to the Northern entrance (a winding southbound dirt road). You want the Southern entrance (the map will show you one southbound road, then one westbound road at a right angle that passes another property). Have Ryan's phone number on you.

Sure friendly and welcoming hosts, well-maintained campsite with lots of space and provided bench seating, a clean outhouse, and a “camp store” in the barn in case you forgot any essentials. And baby lambs and bunnies to pet!

Ryan’s land is in a peaceful and secluded spot close to the healing waters of Soap Lake. The space is private, comfortable and welcoming. There was a nice bench and table for us to cook and eat on. The outhouse is the nicest one I have seen and was very clean. Ryan was friendly and awesome all around. Really great experience, I highly recommend this spot! The sunrise over the desert was incredible.

The oasis was truly a oasis. Ryan and his family were really welcoming, but it is a trek to get into to town (25 min). The campsite is basically their backyard, but has a clean and maintain outhouse! It’s perfect as a pit stop if you are road tripping though WA. Plus, Ryan has sheep and rabbits which was a wonderful surprise!
