The Last Of The Wonder Woods

Amazing location! So close to all of the niceties of Langley, Coupeville, and broader Whidbey Island while still feeling remote and private enough to really enjoy the things that make camping special. The campsite was clean, well-situated with ample space between neighboring sites, and nicely equipped with a phenomenally clean and well-constructed bathroom. Arron & Jessica were communicative and helpful, and we would absolutely go back in a heartbeat! We enjoyed the birdsong, deer sightings, and even seeing banana slugs in the vicinity of our camp during the morning. A+!

Site E is very nice and secluded, distant from other sites but close to the bathrooms and a water spigot. We pitched our tent on the mulch and it was comfortable. Wonderful being surrounded by many species of trees and birds. I recommend bringing bug repellent, and ear plugs if you're a light sleeper. Overall a beautiful well-maintained campground with lots of privacy.

A great campsite I'd come back to! Was in beautiful wooded area with lots of privacy, really nice flush toilets, and spigots with clean water. The woodchip areas for pitching tents was a nice touch I haven't seen before, and will surely miss in the future. There were a few mosquitoes around so make sure to bring bugspray, but there are stores ~5 minutes away in case you forget that or anything. I recommend checking out all the nearby parks and towns.

Beautiful spot, they have obviously put a lot of thought into this space with a bench, great campfire/cooking spot in a spool table. They have real toilets. We really enjoyed it!

A beautiful and quiet campsite tucked into an old growth forest. Low traffic as the sites are kept minimal. A convenient and very clean central bathroom and the potable water at each site is quite handy.

Labor Day trip

Beautiful campsite, really feels remote but very convienent to get items in Freeland or Langley. This site is near the house as indicated, but it feels incredibly private. Some road noise and owls (!!) the first night so some might want ear plugs. We will definitely return later in the season when we can use the fire pit, the set up is really cool. Even with the burn ban it was a great spot to congregate. Easily could have fit a couple of tents and our truck/rooftop tent

The campsite was quite nice, the flushable toilets and water spouts were a great addition! We were bummed to not use the fire pit due to burn bans but I’m sure it would be the perfect place for roasting smores! The campsites aren’t crazy far apart, but we rarely heard our neighbors and it felt very private. Super nice to feel tucked away in the woods but still close to town and amenities!

Best place to camp 🏕️

One of our most favorite places to camp! 🏕️ the sites are spectacularly clean and meticulously maintained. There is a flushing toilet, which makes things so much better and it’s super private in spite of being just minutes from gas stations and grocery stores. We keep coming back here to enjoy a very quiet setting and absolutely love the host! Jessica is super accommodating, kind, and very quick to respond. We love this place!!!

Very well taken care of and you get a feeling of being isolated in the nature. The spots are well thought with everything you need and beautifully prepared. Toilets are clean and there's clean water as well. Hosts are friendly and accommodating, definitely a place I'd recommend and would be back.

We loved camping here! The site was quite large and there was plenty of space between sites, making it feel more private. The bathrooms were conveniently located. It was also great to have a water spigot at the site. Arron and Jessica were very responsive and communicative ahead of checking in. We would love to come back in the future!

Clean and well thought out

This campsite reminded me of many of the state and national parks - a winding road through forest with well marked sites a bit separated from each other. Site E had a sand area which was a bit sloped and a mulch area which was flatter. There was a fire pit which we couldn't use due to burn ban, and a spigot which was farther away, closer to the restroom. I liked that there was a little bit of space between camp sites but could see the next one over so didn't feel alone in the woods (I was traveling solo with a kid). There were a decent number of mosquitoes (early Aug) and some ended up getting into the tent with us overnight. There are also blackberry plants trying to re grow out of the sand. The restroom was pretty nice - two very clean stalls with motion lights and flush toilets - but the spigot was the only "sink" for hand washing. Camp site was relatively quiet at night, besides some of the dogs nearby barking. Overall a good first hip camp experience!

Great Campsite with Clean Amenities

We had a great time camping on Arron and Jessica’s property! The campsite was spacious enough to comfortably fit two tents, and the flushable toilets were conveniently nearby and very clean. The water spigot was also just a short walk away. The firepit looked great, though we couldn’t use it due to a fire ban. We’ll definitely be back!

The site is even more beautiful than shown. The sites are spacious, well organized, and easy to find. There were potable water stations near most of the sites, and the camp toilets were immaculately clean. You can definitely tell that Arron and Jessica have put a lot of thought and heart into the development of the camp. We will definitely be back!

We loved our stay here! Campsite D was big enough to accommodate our group with two tents (with space to spare), and was separated enough from the neighboring sites to feel very private. Nice and shady, as well. And a short walk through a nice wooded path to a super clean, flush toilet. I’d definitely stay again.

Great camping experience!

Jessica and Arron have done a really great job in providing a good camping experience on their property. We booked site C. The tent area is covered in mulch, while other parts of the site are in sand, both to prevent mud issues and you can drive your car directly into the site. The site has a fire pit, a long horizontal tree trunk with a flat wood plank to create sitting or a useable counter top space. They also gave us a tall spool for extra counter top. We were surrounded by tall trees and felt well distanced from other sites for privacy, which is important to us. We could hear them, but not really see them. The site also has its own potable water pump, definitely a plus! Lastly, the two flushable toilets are located just outside the site, so very easy to access quickly and a huge bonus to any camping experience! We drove the 10 minutes one day over to the dog beach where our Augie had an amazing swim/run. Mosquitoes are out, so take bug spray. Otherwise, its a really good site, easy to find and access and we highly recommend it. Well done Jessica and Arron!
