My husband and I are doing a cross country trip with our dog in an RV and this was a great first stop! Plenty of parking space and great practice for my husband driving the RV for the first time. The area was quiet and the walking path was perfect for our dog.

We loved our stay at The Hay Farm #2. Can't wait to return next year at the same time, or even sooner.
The RV spot was enormous and allow ample room for us to spread out with our 3 pups.

We loved the view of the hay field! His instructions were very clear. He has water, electric and trash! There is a sewer dump in town, maybe 5 miles away that is free!

Perfect far enough away for peace and quiet but close enough to town. We float the river every year and jay farm is only a couple mins from canton road. Shane was great and very helpful. Loved our stay and hope to stay again next year thank you Shane

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hay Farm. Shane was extremely accommodating and friendly!
The sites are on a large rock/gravel piece of land next to their hay farm. The sites were very large and flat. There are fishing ponds just up the road too.
The space was easy to find and close enough to town that it wasn’t inconvenient but far enough away to be peaceful and quiet. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to others looking for a good experience at a good price.

Super convenient, beautiful views of the fields and sunset, and Shane was very friendly and accommodating! As noted by others, the area is rocky and pretty exposed. It was quite windy the one night we were there, so we didn’t spend too much time out of the RV. Not sure what it would’ve been like to put down a mat and spend time outside.

We had a great 2 week stay. Shane was friendly and quick to respond to questions. We were greeted our first day then left to our camping. RV hook ups worked just as they should. Plenty of room to turn around and park a large trailer. We enjoyed walks to the pond and the little boys loved watching the tractors at work in the valley. Thank you for our stay!

Beautiful location, close to town but still out in farmland. nice big spots on flat land with lots of room for extra parking. Veiw of the fields and hillside. Freindly and accomadating hosts.

This is my first hip camp, so I was not sure what to expect. The host, Shane was very nice and greeted me when I arrived. Explained to me a few things and gave me some directions to some scenic areas and also where to use the RV dump, which is only a few miles down the road. Ironically, it’s free between 730 and 3:30 PM each day. For the most part, it was quiet. You can hear interstate 84 in the background a little bit. There’s a nice little stream with a bunch of frogs to go look at. The sunset was absolutely beautiful. My only problem that I had that someone else may not have is that it was very, very rocky for my dog. And there was not a lot of grass for her to do her duty. Other than that, it was a very nice trip for my first one.
There are some permanent tenants that live there but they were no bother at all. I did have some power issues. My surge protector blew in spot 1. I had to go buy a new one. I had a 30 amp cable and 30 amp surge protector. Once I got the 50 amp, there were no issues. Not sure if it is me, being new or?
In all, it was a very positive experience and I look forward to using this app in the future. Thank you Shane for poppin my 🍒 😆

Overall the camp is a good place to stop over night. It has all the amenities you need in terms of hooking up. Sites are a bit close together, but good for a short stay. Host was easy to communicate with and allowed us to park wherever we wanted. Thank you.

It was a beautiful area. At first we thought it might be noisy but it wasn’t! We had the spot closest to creek. We weren’t there much but felt comfortable leaving our rig during the day and so quiet at night. We would stay there again!

Shane's spot is a really nice view of the landscape. He was very welcoming and let me spread out a bit with less renters. He was helpful for some trail recommendations as well! Water quality is drinkable from spigot. This made my 1 night stop very replenishing.

Shane’s hay farm provided the perfect overnight stop off for us and our 28’ travel trailer. The spaces are large and easy to back into and the location is close to I90/I82 with power and water, but without the crowded/expensive aspects of RV parks. Views of the farm fields and trees greeted us in the morning after a quiet night.
Also, Shane was a clear, friendly communicator. If you need a place to stay in the Ellensburg area, check it out!

This unique spot is what we always look for when we are traveling. It was a treat in peace and quiet. Our host was always a text away if needed. AND the true seal of approval was Shane did the guidance to hubby as he backed into our spot! Now that right there is 4 gold stars from me the wife, never knew backing up could be so cordial.
We will be back.
