This was by far one of the most pleasant experiences we had. It felt like a happy medium between backpacking and camping. The communication with the host was very good we received the directions that we needed. There is a bit of a walk to get to the campsite, and we are fairly fit, it may be a problem for people who just want to park their car next to where they pitch the tent. The fire set up was wonderful, we had the best fire experience, the wood was great nothing like you get in the store. And it was very quiet at night, as the site is deep in the woods. I recommend.

I loved staying at the Mini Mint! I enjoyed the size of the cabin, the fire pit set up, and especially how easy it was to find even in the dark. Definitely would return again! However, it would have been nice to have a lock on the door.

Camping on the bus was an awesome experience! Really cool dwelling tucked away in the trees, quiet and peaceful. Just the right amount of essentials and close enough to town if you need anything else. We really enjoyed the wood burning stove. Will definitely be back in the future!

Place was great! Brandon had just opened up the schoolie rental and upgraded us to the bus as it was open! Perfect location just a few minutes from Langley and nestled in a forested spot with birds singing and berries everywhere!
Having hot water and a composting toilet was amazing!
Being in town on a summer weekend with the vacationing crowds - it was great to have a peaceful spot to go back to!
Would stay again!

Overall a nice place to camp. The site was not *too* far from the car, but was up a relatively steep incline part of the way. I would have packed differently (ie no cooler) if I had known about the incline. The mosquitos were not messing around! Definitely bring some bug prevention. Lots of firewood around! Unfortunately, the directions were texted to me the day of from a weird email address and ended up in my Spam, and there were no host directions given on the Hipcamp listing after booking, so we drove around for a while on the wrong road. But, the host called back within 5 mins of my calling the number listed. The site is not big enough for 2 tents without being right up against the firepit, but is big enough for a 4-6 person tent.

What a lovely expanse of land. I love what Brandon is doing here. It was a little tricky to find the site as there are lots of little paths to here and there (all lined with delightful sculpture art!). Could have used a bit more info on how/where to park and how directly to get to my site. I loved my peaceful overnight stay. I did not have any contact with the host and I didn’t use the porta potty.
Overall this spot feels magical.

Mini Mint was a magical experience! It was easy to find using the address and perfectly secluded. The cabin is primitive, clean & beautiful and the bed was very comfortable. We fell asleep to the pouring rain in the dry and stayed dry and cozy. The overhanging roof over the deck was perfect for cooking breakfast in the drizzle and we were happy to have our own dry camping chairs to eat in.
Some things to note:
The porta potty is converted into a saw dust toilet. It’s clean and a short walk from the cabin.
There are trails all around the cabin but we were unsure where they led. We wandered for a bit but didn’t want to cross any property lines.
As noted by a previous review the cabin doesn’t have a lock. We were comfortable with two of us and the dog. I’m sure it’s safe but I would be hesitant if traveling solo.
It’s the PNW so don’t be surprised if it’s wet and muddy. Bring a towel for your pet and shoes that can get dirty.

This place is absolutely gorgeous! I would love to come back often! We actually have a ten person tent that’s huge and it fit perfectly in this spot. Great for kids too! We would love to come back many, many more times in the future.

Nice peaceful site for a night! We arrive til well after nightfall and given it was a weeknight, we were the only ones there. Never met Brandon but he was very communicative and helpful via Hipcamp chat (which I also receive as text messages- useful for areas with limited service).
The listing and photos are accurate. As others have said, this campsite is maybe a 2-3 minute walk from parking, so the wheelbarrow provided is helpful for reducing number of trips, or for bringing back firewood. Even though it had rained and hailed a lot recently, the trail and camp sites weren't muddy or waterlogged thanks to heavy tree cover.
The turn into the driveway can be hard to miss. Look for the proper address number on wooden post and it's a breeze from there.

Lovely property. Host made it extremely easy to enjoy our last-minute getaway. Very simple and well-designed structure; surrounding area is quiet and trees in every direction. Bed is comfy and the porch is covered, which is so useful for storage and keeping out of the rain. Very convenient location to the town of Langley. Would love to stay again!

Overall I had a sweet time at the cabin. The privacy of the surrounding woods really helped it feel like a personal retreat into nature, and the bed was big and comfy (don't forget to bring bedding!). I was very cold, which was to be expected based on the forecast. Definitely had a fire going most of the time and wished I had brought candles. Maybe it's obvious in the photos, but this cabin a well-built single-room structure with no power or heating. There is an outhouse at the bottom of the walkway, but as of my trip March 7 it hadn't been serviced since November, so I avoided as much as I could. I was caught off guard by the "all life matters" sign at the entrance. Not sure it's necessary to post an anti-Black sentiment right at the trailhead. The host also gave no instructions for accessing the property or cabin (other than to anticipate I could be waiting 3+ hours for the ferry in Mukilteo), so I had to drive out of the way to get service and call once I realized the gps location on the posting wasn't accurate. All in all, glad I stayed -- I really appreciated the privacy and chance to get off the grid. Just some things I thought it might be helpful for future folks to know. I think more info from the host would have been most helpful.

The hut itself is pretty cute, and bed is comfy! The area is cute, and feels quite private, but easy to find. My only thing is DO NOT buy wood from them, I thought “oh convenient!” And paid for 2 bundles. When I got there all the wood was soaking wet, I’ve never struggled so hard to try to get a fire going. I tried to find the host but there are like 3 little houses where he said he was and I had no idea which was his (no service there) so I gave up. So yeah no campfire meant no way to cook myself dinner or breakfast, which was obviously a big bummer. Bring your own wood, and should be fine.

Brandon was so accommodating to us even though we did not arrive until after dark, due to a long ferry delay. We found the site easily even in the dark, thanks to the detailed arrival instructions. When we arrived there was a fire starter kit prepared and set out for us, which made getting a fire started in the cold and dark so much less daunting. The cabin was adorable, the bed is very comfortable and big. In the morning when the sun came up we were able to see all of the quaint little details that have been put into this property. We had a lovely visit and would definitely come back again in the summer.

Loved this sweet little space! The bed is super comfy and it was wonderful to wake up surrounded by the trees. Easy driving distance to some cool beaches and hikes. Definitely check out the Earth Sanctuary sculpture garden :)
Would suggest a latch for the door as well as some hooks on the walls for lanterns, backpacks, etc! But all around loved it and would stay here again.

This was my second time staying at Mini mint and I just love it there! Despite the rainy weekend we were able to cook and hangout by the fire. The structure was just as cozy and beautiful as ever!

Like surround sound but with trees 😎 as im a solo camper my only wish is that there was a way to lock the door or a latch to bring a portable one too. Otherwise it was perfect.

We had a great stay. Suggestion: Ask for a map of the sites to know where you are located.
There are a few campsites on the property with good privacy. Lodging things back and forth was a bit inconvenient tbh but the combo was sufficient and the location and value made it worthwhile. Overall timely communication and good value.

Campsite was beautiful! We loved the trees and the primitive site with the artful details with the platform and the winding trail! We were a bit surprised by the length of the hike in and would recommend packing more like you were backpacking. The wheelbarrow was very much appreciated though! Very quiet and serene site. My group had a great time!

The pictures don’t do this magical place justice. We stayed here with our two kids (11 & 6) and our puppy (6 months). The campsite was perfect with a fire pit, charcoal BBQ, wood benches, and table. The kids enjoyed exploring on the trails and reading the handmade signs. The little bridge was fun for the puppy to race back and forth on. The bed was comfy and we all slept great!

First the good. The site we booked was nice and deep in the forest. Overall, not many people and the sites are spread far apart. If you have a larger tent, you'll want to book either this site or TerraSoLuna. Keep in mind when it says it's the furthest from the site, it is pretty far, about a 10 minute walk. Fortunately, there was a wheel barrow to take our stuff, but it was a lot of long back and forth for our things. Not the ideal for easy car camping. Also, the directions to the camping location could we better. We turned down the wrong road initially and someone directed us to the right place (they reacted in a way that made it seem it was a common occurrence).

When we got there, our confirmation email said site 1. The sites were not numbered and there was a Terra Soluna sign at the parking lot which made it all confusing without the numbered sites.
When we mistakenly stayed at the wrong site Brandon was very rude and wouldn’t stop shouting at us even though we had already told him we would be leaving before our trip was complete. And the porta potty was grosser than any other hipcamp I’ve stayed at.

Beautiful little campground on someones private property. Obviously a lot of love and care has gone into creating this space - an artsy little footbridge and hand painted signs. The mini mint shelter, bed, porch were all very nice. The bathroom is a porta potty in the parking lot and the path that goes from the campsites to the parking lot goes past the mini mint. For me that meant my dog was barking or growling at late night and early morning bathroom traffic. I think something with more privacy would be a better fit for me and my dog, but I would definitely recommend this place to others.
