We loved our weekend getaway! What a beautiful place. Lovely riverfront campsite with well maintained grounds. Good WiFi. We had such a good time. Even though the weather wasn’t super warm, we still splashed around in the river and enjoyed hammock time! Highly recommend!

We chose this spot for our very first camping trip with our 1955 trailer - and it was beautiful! Private (though we had family at the next door spot - which worked perfectly!). Loved all the cute seating spots the owner set up throughout the property. The river was fabulous and we even took out the tubes (a bit cold on a 70 degree day, but so much fun!). 🤩

Riverside Campsite # 1
The view and sounds of the river on this campsite were even better than we expected! It was clean, well-manicured and softly lit at night if you turn on the string lights above the site. It is pretty private, with just one set of neighbors who were also quiet. The river access is tricky from this site, and only for those who are very able to navigate a steep climb.

Our stay at riverside campsite #2 was great. Plenty of room to run around and the trail down to the river was close. We spent all day playing in the river. We will definitely go back to this place.

RV Site #1 and Tahoya River Lodge was great. The site was large, well landscaped and immaculately maintained. Being able to just relax while watching the river was great.
Also it was a quick drive up to Silverdale or Poulsbo so the ability to do day trips from this spot was nice.

This was my third time camping here because I love it so much! Thank you to our hosts Kim and Terry. The site is super private right on the river. We swam all day and enjoyed the tubes provided by the hosts. Highly recommend.

I have mixed feelings about this property. To start with the pros: the property is well equipped with wifi (zero cell reception at the site or in the area so this was nice), the grass was lush, the sounds of the river were quite relaxing, the water was pleasant, and access to the river was easy. The cafe lights that come on at dusk were also a really nice touch that gave decent light and nice ambiance. There was a burn ban during our stay, but we had a propane fire pit which was cozy by the river. The two sites are relatively private, but you are really only separated from site #2 by your own trailer. We were fortunate to have considerate and quiet neighbors. For the cons: It lists in the “rules” that there is a toilet on site, but if there was, the host did not advise where it was and it was not obviously placed. The rules also state that this is a property within a HOA community, to be respectful of neighbors, and to keep pets leashed. However, while we were here there were several off leash dogs wandering including onto the property. The neighbors, unsure if they were also camping nearby or live in the community, were driving around pretty fast in a very loud vehicle starting very early in the morning which made it hard to sleep. The dogs and the neighbors were not necessarily the fault of the hosts, but were concerning (especially having our own dogs) and did detract from our stay. Overall, we did enjoy our stay but it was a bit different than expected / advertised.

This space was beautiful - honestly, the photos for the RV sites don’t do it justice. Site one is more private than site 2, but both are spacious and impeccably kept. There is a community space directly next to site 2 (where the port-a-potty is) that is beautifully kept for all users of the two campsites and the Tahuya River lodge. We worried that on a hot weekend it would feel crowded, but it never did. There are tubes and other water fun things for all to use, and there were always plenty available for anyone wanting to use them. The swimming hole was just over 5’ deep in late August, and the water was super clean and refreshing. The hook-ups worked without any issues, and it’s clear the owners take great pride in how their space is cared for.
The sites are along the Tahuya River, and the campsites themselves are very private. There are fences well-built to help keep you feeling like you are fully in nature. But the sites do exist in the context of a rural neighborhood. For us, the only challenging piece of that was the number of neighbor dogs who visited us throughout our stay. At least 6 dogs in the neighborhood have free range of the neighborhood, which was a challenge for us with our leashed, reactive dogs. All of the dogs were friendly and none posed any kind of threat whatsoever. If we hadn’t had our dogs with us, it would have just been a quirky/fun thing instead of a mildly problematic one.
We would definitely recommend a stay here!

This is a great campsite, right on the river! The site has electricity and water, as well as a picnic table and fire ring - everything you need! You can hear the sound of the river, and it feels so peaceful and secluded. I definitely recommend staying here!

Beautiful site, easy to back in my little trailer, nice level spot. Water and electricity hookups clean and accessible, park benches and chairs and tables throughout for river viewing or hanging out under shady evergreens. String lights and firefly lights automatically on at dusk a very nice touch. Portapotty exceptionally clean, river easy to get to, water amazingly clear, full of little fish and water bugs to watch. I fell asleep right on the well maintained lawn, listening to the sound of water running over the rocks. Large firepit and barbecue (couldn’t use due to burn ban but we did bring a propane little firepit and it worked great.) I will most definitely be back!

This was my second stay here. Loved it so much I wanted to bring my niece and best friend. This spot is gorgeous and I highly recommend it. They have innertubes and kayaks to borrow for river fun and laser set up for night time viewing you can switch on. There is a clean porta potty if you're dry camping, a picnic table on the river spit with an umbrella we had our lunches at. They even have a hammock stand I set my hammock up on. Kim and Terry have clearly thought of everything possible to make this a paradise. My dog loved the river too!
