Welcome to Sunset Ridge Retreat! Your quiet escape perched on Blanchard Mountain in Bow, WA. Here, you’ll end your days with sweeping sunset views over Samish Island, the San Juan Islands, and even as far as Anacortes. It’s the kind of spot that invites you to slow down, breathe deep, and just take in the beauty around you. This private site offers a fully stocked RV camper. Perfect for couples, small groups, or solo travelers who want a little more comfort while staying close to nature. Whether you’re sipping coffee with the morning breeze or watching the sun sink behind the islands, this place is built for rest, reconnection, and quiet joy. What’s included: • Sleeps up to 4 guests, but 2 beds are twin size and not large. • Dog-friendly! Bring your pup along for the adventure • Propane heating, small fridge, microwave, cooktop, and AC in the camper • Electricity, water, and thoughtful touches throughout • Fire pit for stargazing and s’mores (when burn bans allow) • Clear skies, coastal air, and plenty of trees for shade and privacy You’ll be surrounded by forest but treated to one of the best western views in the Skagit Valley. Whether you’re exploring nearby trails, visiting the charming towns of Bow and Edison, or just watching the clouds drift over the islands, Sunset Ridge Retreat is a place to reset and recharge. We designed this place as a personal retreat before opening it up to others, and now we’re excited to share it with you. We've had friends stay here, and they absolutely loved the sunsets and nature sounds.. Come chase the sun, enjoy the stillness, and stay a while.Island View Mountain Stay is a peaceful 5-acre retreat tucked into the trees, perched on a mountain with sweeping views of Samish Bay, the San Juan Islands, and the most incredible sunsets you’ll ever experience. You’ll be staying in a fully stocked travel trailer—set up and ready for your arrival—ideal for two guests seeking quiet, connection, and nature. The trailer includes a queen-size bed, a cozy reclining loveseat, heat and A/C, and a fully equipped kitchen with a small fridge/freezer, gas stove, oven, and microwave. We provide all the cookware, dishes, and linens—you just bring your food, drinks, and favorite spices. Outside, we provide a small propane gas grill (propane tank included with the grill), and there is an outdoor cooking area and a small fridge on the exterior of the trailer. It features 2 gas burners, a small bucket-style sink, and a small fridge. There’s a small dinette and two additional twin-size beds in the back (best suited for kids or small adults). Step outside onto your private patio area, complete with chairs and artificial turf, or stroll over to the gravel fire pit space to take in the panoramic sunsets. You might even share the evening with a deer or two—wildlife is common here! Though the site feels private and remote, it is located in a quiet, rural neighborhood. You may hear the sounds of nearby homes (dogs, chickens, etc.), but you won’t see them from your site. You’ll hear plenty of birdsong and forest activity too. Important to know: • Access is via a gravel road with a tight turn and a bit of a steep climb. Low-clearance vehicles are not recommended. • Plenty of flat space for parking once you arrive. • Trailer includes bathroom with shower and flush toilet (self-contained). • No Wi-Fi, but strong cell signal for most carriers. • Firewood not provided—please bring your own if you plan to enjoy the fire pit. • Dog-friendly (just let us know in advance). This is the kind of stay where you slow down, sleep in, sip coffee with a view, and end your night under the stars. Perfect for a romantic weekend, solo escape, or anyone needing a reset surrounded by nature.

Island View Mountain Stay

I did not find the Bullet to be worth the the cost. The bathroom smelled bad, the refrigerator wasn't working and the air fresheners used to mask the musty smell made the whole place stink. I do not recommend staying here.

Island View Mountain Stay

This is the most beautiful spot I've ever been camping in Washington. The view perched above the Sound for sunset, the campfire area, the cozy and stocked RV with room enough for the four of us and dog (and also a VERY comfy bed) made for a really magical and stress-free experience. Not only is the property lovely and peaceful, but combining that with the proximity to both Chuckanut and the Bow-Edison area for food and exploring was perfect for our family getaway. Highly recommend and would absolutely stay again!

We had a wonderful weekend getaway at Stacey's - everything was great. Communication and instructions were clear, the space was very clean and thoughtfully designed, the views from the firepit are so beautiful. My friend brought her dog and he loved it - we didn't encounter any animals and felt very safe and comfortable. I would 100% recommend this stay and I would book again! Thank you Stacey! Patricia
