4 glamping tents (so if your date is taken look for the other tents - groups welcome) on 5 acres on Vashon Island with some forest & views of Salish Sea & Mount Rainier & Cascades. Shared kitchen & bathroom available. 15 minute walk to town of Vashon (laundromat nn early closing restaurants). Vashon is just a 25 minute passenger ferry ride from downtown Seattle. Car ferries are on both ends (West Seattle/Vashon & Pt. Defiance/Tahlequah. Vashon has many forests, hiking trails & beaches. Property has total of four 16’ Glamping Bell Tents or an RV (sleeps 5 adults) available. Unfortunately, this is no longer an active strawberry farm and there are no actual strawberry farms left on Vashon but a couple place grow some. Please expect to see the Pacific Northwest🌲 regulars of spiders (small black ones and daddy long legs neither which are biters and are just seeking out insects) and an occasional earwig (harmless creatures).

We loved the glamoping at the Strawberry Farm! Kori was an excellent host and gave us great history lesson of the property. The tent was super comfortable, the view was amazing and the shared kitchen came in clutch!

We had a wonderful stay. Kory was genuinely hospitable, and we loved hearing the history he shared about his family homesteading the property in the 1840s and how the buildings have evolved over time. His pride in the land is clear and really shines through. The yurt accommodations were exactly as expected — the bed was very comfortable, and the pillows were great. Having access to the kitchen and barbecue supplies made things easy; I barely needed to pack anything beyond clothes and a bit of food from town. Sunrise and sunset at the end of the property, looking out over the Salish Sea, were peaceful and beautiful. We also had a lot of fun exploring town — the estate sale and thrift shops were a blast. The Den of Pin pinball bar ended up being a real highlight, and I appreciated the thoughtful nonalcoholic options they offered

Cozy! Great location!

We had a really nice stay here on a sunny weekend in the fall. Kory was very friendly and brought us a bag of freshly picked apples and pears. The tent and bed were comfortable, it got chilly at night and the bed was very warm and cozy. The location was convenient, less than a mile into town.

I loved camping on Kory’s land. It was very comfortable and welcoming. Definitely the cutest glamping tent. We had fun walking through the property eating blackberries while the sunset, I would definitely recommend!
