The property we named GAEA (the old Greek spelling of Mother Earth) was first seen in a vision. Historically, Deep Creek Canyon was a winter encampment for the Spokane Indians, whose ancestral lands surround us. We feel the healing spirit of the land, in partnership and stewardship. We gather community for Solstice & Equinox celebrations, bringing people together to honor the changing seasons. Our original house was one of the first in the canyon, in the early 1940's. There’s a map that leads you to hidden features, like the gypsy fortune-telling tea house, a fairy mound at the base of a huge fir tree, a yoga platform, and a Buddha bench for contemplating or conversation.

Tall pines site #2, shady, bigger
Secluded, well maintained, great vibe camp site! Especially the solar heated shower, felt safe sleeping under the stars on the raised platform . Jane is a great communicator and helped us transport our gear up the short hoof uphill to site. Highly recommend!

Nice setting
This is a great little spot depending on your needs. It is 20 minutes from 90 so you don't hear that but you are right next to a gravel road that has cars every once in a while at a high rate of speed. The first camp site is not level so that could be an issue depending on how you camp.

Relaxing and Inviting
What a magical time! Jane is an incredibly accommodating host with a beautiful scenic property. We had the best time! Site was set nicely in the woods (but not too deep) and it was wonderful hearing all the creatures of the night. Perfectly shaded in the right places in case you didn't want to be in the sun. The outdoor shower was amazing and refreshing. Jane is a great with communication so we knew exactly what to expect. While the hill to the site wasn't severe, it was a bit steep to carry belongings up and down. Jane was extremely accommodating and provided quick golf cart assistance with our heavy items. Best to camp lightly as possible and just enjoy all the forest provides. The ground was soft for sleeping and it was very peaceful ✌️ We will be back!

Superb Experience!
Loved the trip! Took our two little ladies on a quick weekend camping trip and everyone loved the spot! Rain couldn't even damper the experience. As the sign in the bathroom says: 5/5, would poop here again.
