We loved our time at Jane’s place. We had both site #1 and #2 booked for our large group and they were both fantastic. Between the two sites, there are a total of two wooden platforms for tents, a large tipi that 4 of us comfortably slept in (although it could probably fit up to 5-6 people), and we found one or two additional flat areas that were adequate for setting up tents. Do note, the entire property is on a slight hill, and Jane has beautifully created level areas for fires, picnic tables, etc, but there are only a couple additional “natural” flat areas.
The “far-out house” was awesome; very clean, comfortable, and well equipped.
Also note, the tipi is not 100% bug proof and the hole in the canvas at the top where all the wooden poles come together does allow rain in. We stayed in the tipi multiple nights and had absolutely no problem though. We only noticed mosquitos at our campsite (not inside the tipi) for about an hour or so one evening, besides that the entire area was pretty bug-less, as we had a gentle breeze up on the hill most of the time. A few of us had intermittent, unstable, low-bar signal on our phones up at the tipi site. It’s about a 5-10 min drive out onto a main road for cell service and amenities (convenience stores, etc).
Jane was communicative and accommodating. She graciously helped us transport a few large, heavy loads of our camping equipment in her golf cart. We would definitely stay at Jane’s place again in future!
