This is an 11 acre mountain, and every campsite is designed to give an incredible View of Lake Roosevelt From the property, you could see the backside of the dam on the lake side. The inlet is called Eden Harbor. There’s lake access by foot or a short drive to the other side of the harbor. It’s a great place to go fishing get some sun and relax. Campsite is located close to the town. Where you can buy groceries, ice, get a bite to eat at a restaurant or any other camping essentials you need. It’s also near two different boat ramps for easy boat access. We are pet friendly with rules that need to be followed as a pet owner. You take full responsibility for your own pets. There are different wild animals around like dear, turkeys, coyotes, etc. Each campsite is set up for groups, 6 people or more depending on the sites. You are responsible or any damage to you, your group and your belongings. There are cameras on the property, they are there for safety and security purposes to ensure a pleasant experience for all guests.

As you drive into the campground you will have a dam good view of lake Rosevelt and the back side of Grand Coulee Dam. There is a steep hill and hair point turn through the entance gate to access the property, once through the gates pull all the way to the bottom to the lowest point on the campground, this is were the bottom 3 tent sites will be at. Ok for tent use only, is the closet sites to the walking trail to the water. To use electricity you will need an electrical cord (100ft/10gauge). Site holds up to 4 people. You can also combine all 3 bottom tent sites to have a gathering of up to 12-18 people. That would include bottom tent sites 1,2, and 3. Beautiful spot, great view of water. Has a nice breeze but we recommend that you bring your own shade. It is a flat sandy area to pitch a tent, air mattress recommend. Water access through walking trail or short drive off the main road (Grand Coulee Ave). No portable water but does have electricity. Also has water to wash dishes or hands by the bathroom. Relaxing area to get some sun and have a good time with friends and family or playing on the beach durning the day. Boating, fishing, hiking, relaxing and having evening BBQ’s. Propane, fires welcome only. Pets welcome for responsible pet owners. Many other Animals in the area. Bring pets at your own risk.

Great view, peaceful spot, and a helpful host. Recommend to anyone looking to escape for a weekend to somewhere that isn't a state park. Was secluded and quiet.

Aloha Beach Front #1

This is a pretty spectacular spot with awesome views of the dam and Lake Roosevelt. We were there for 3 nights, my girlfriend and our three dogs to relax and really take advantage of being on Eden Harbor and maximizing use of the water on our SUPs. I could best describe this spot as "rustic glamping". Meaning it's best if you come equipped with all the practical car camping things: power cords with 3 prongs, your own means of shade, etc. We did so it was quite the comfortable stay. Bring LOTS of water as there is no access to any. Access to the water and beach below is ok, meaning there is a trail down but anyone with mobility issues would have problems. Eden Harbor is amazing and absolutely great for swimming. There is a public sandy beach just across the harbor you can paddle to, and there are lots of rock formations you can jump off into the clear waters. We would definitely come back here.

My husband and I loved the quick weekend getaway at this spot! It’s absolutely beautiful, peaceful, and refreshing. You can see the Grand Coulee Dam as well as several birds and deer. I highly recommend it!

The camp grounds were wonderful. We had a 25 foot RV and had plenty of room and the views were absolutely amazing!! Julia was friendly, warm and welcoming to us and our dogs. She was thoughtful and gave us tips for what to see and made sure we had everything we needed. She was the best hostess we have ever had and loved our stay with her. We are planning to return in the spring to camp with her again.

Had a wonderful night stay at this hip camp! The views are beautiful! The host was great at communicating and is so kind! Roads are a little wild, definitely recommend getting there before dusk, plus, you don’t want to miss the sunset over the dam! Cute little campers set up down the hill for rental. Over all a truly beautiful spot! Had a little black bear checking everything out overnight. No real bother, he went on his merry way after my dogs barked. Could hear the neighbors up the hill had music playing, but it was, in my opinion, a great radio station, so we had no complaints. Thank you Julia for being such a wonderful host! I hope to be back soon!

I had an amazing 2 nights here. The weather was great, water was nice, & great climbing within a 15 minute drive, both from water & land. Julia is very communicative, helpful & accommodating. I would certainly camp here again if ever in the area again.

Beautiful spot! DAM good view was a Solid choice. We also booked Jazzy view site ONE. I unfortunately didn’t know how far apart they weren’t. Also Jazzy ONE-THREE all have the same view which is spectacular. Next time I come I will just book those 2-3 spots. I would have switched but Julia said that Jazzy TWO was booked. So next time. The docks were clutch and the water was fantastic. I like that we could swim and jump in from docks as opposed to the dirt and mud. Kept everything was cleaner. Thank you Julia! Kids had a blast and Julia was extremely easy to contact and talk to. We will definitely be using your HIPCAMP again.

Very private as we had the whole place to ourselves. The site was great: level, great view, great breeze. The bathroom was a nice plus. Be prepared for the road in. Some points are steep, but it's worth it! Host was very responsive to any questions we had.

Julia and her sites were amazing. She was always so helpful and prompt when I had questions or needed help. She also gave tons of wonderful suggestions for the area. She was even willing to refund us our last days stay because we had to leave early due to health concerns from the smoke of nearby fires. The site itself was clean and great for kids but you definitely need your own sun coverage. There is a walking trail through the "woods" to get to the docks and water below or you can drive down by taking the dirty roa through neighborhood across the way. Find Eden Harbor Road on a map and it takes you to the yacht club bellow. Be aware it does turn into a dirt road. But all in all this site and host are wonderful!

Great views right above the Grand Coulée reservoir. Amazing spot to watch Bald eagles. lake access ( absolutely needed when it’s hot). Also, the bathroom is a work of art not expected in such a Hipcamp location. Don’t miss to visit the Grand Coulee Dam visitor center.

Beautiful views. The bathroom is a toilet you have to pump water and pour it into the toilet before you can use it. It is also a sharp downhill hike to get there. Same with the water. We ended up driving to go swimming. It's about 10 minutes. If you don't book #1 and #2, you would be right next to someone else. Also, it is all rock. Bring something to put under your tent and if you have a dog, that is something to keep in mind.

Incredible view of an incredible area. Site was flat and clean. The ground was difficult to get stakes in and so we ended up using tie downs on rocks. Spent the day down in our kayaks and saw the light show on the dam.

Our stay at septic heights

The pictures for the hip camp are not accurate and do not show you what the sites are like. We ended up on top of a septic tank on a cliff with strange Mobil homes further down the hill from us. The other hip camp look’s directly down at your camp. The “toilet” requires you to pour two gallons from a container to the back of the toilet. There is not running unpottable water. Eden’s harbor is apparently the local beer pong party spot for 20 year olds. They listens to loud music, good taste I must say, but noisy none the less until 1 in the morning. When they ended a neighbor nearby played music all night. We stayed 1 of our three nights and loved to steamboat rock state park. That place is wonderful.

The views from our campsite were jaw dropping and the water down below was crystal clear & perfect for swimming! We just kept pinching ourselves as we stayed here! Everything was exactly as explained and Julia provided us with such perfect instructions and recommendations for our stay!

The view is spectacular and relaxing! The host, Julia, was on site and was very welcoming and helpful. She told us about the light show taking place and recommended we check it out. We’re glad we did. Every experience to directions, terrain (downhill and uphill and switchbacks were easy to navigate), camp site (was very clean, neighbors were far away and bathroom was right next door) was worth reserving with Julia. We camped using our tent and set up was easy as the ground was firm. The wind picked up quite ALOT and had to use surrounding stones to weigh down our sides. There was no actual fire pit, so you either have to create one or bring one. There is no picnic table and I wish there was- luckily we brought our camp side table and used our storage tote as extra table space. As mentioned earlier, we were pretty far away from our camp neighbors including the host and felt privacy was very well maintained. There are no showers, and there was a sink to wash your hands after using the bathroom but I couldn’t figure out how to use the water pump system. Overall, book this site with Julia. You’ll enjoy every camping moment.

The site was beautiful. Plenty of fun stuff in the area, boat rentals are 7 mins away. The lake is a short walk away. Site was clean. The host was friendly but not one of the types are overwhelmingly friendly. We had plenty of privacy and had a great time. Also there was a sewage hookup. Just fill your water tank in rv because there’s no water line. There was also a power hookup that was great for everything but our oversized ac.
