The campsite in general wasn’t that bad. What really got me was the neighbors that were blasting music banging stuff around and talking until 3-4 am. It was the most I had ever paid to not sleep.

FOREST SITE C
Great place for a night or a few!
Shadow Mountain was a perfect place to stay for a night! We would have stayed a couple more had we had the time. If you don’t feel like pitching a tent, the canvas tent is a perfect option, and the cots are comfy! You can hear cars driving by on the road, but it’s more like white noise - didn’t bother me at all and I’m a light sleeper.
It was super convenient to be close to the general store for things like ice, buying a lantern, gas, etc. They have some nice camping gear available, as well as snacks, drinks, gifts, and more.
It was lovely to pull up at night and have the string lights to see. I realized the next day there’s a path through the trees to the bathroom that provides a slight shortcut. Showers have hot water & we’re clean. Everyone was friendly that we spoke to. No complaints and will definitely come again if I’m ever in the area!

FOREST SITE A
Great spot!
This is a very clean and cute campground. The facilities were very clean and well kept and having the general store right there was a huge bonus. The only thing that would have been nice was to have a platform on the lower water spigot. It is on a pretty deep slope and is hard to use for cleaning without getting muddy. Other than this minor incovience, we had a great time and I would highly recommend.

We made a last minute reservation and everything went smoothly. The sites are nice and level and there were lots of trees for shade. It’s a convenient location just outside of Port Angeles which was exactly what we were looking for. We would definitely stay here again.

Mountain View Site 50 AMP #59
Campsite for our RV was unleveled and at a tilted angled. Not comfortable with original spot. We requested to be moved to another RV space. It appears quite of few spaces are unleveled.

Great location away from it all.
Great location. Friendly staff. Road noise is noticeable but we were at the spot closest to the road too. It’s nice being so close to the lakes for hiking, biking and swimming.
