Grateful for hot showers and coin laundry available. Very reasonable price for all you get included. I met some lovely neighbors there and had close access to many of the Olympic Park destinations I needed to get to.
We enjoyed our night camping here. Beautiful views on the hillside. There is a general store in the campground with almost anything you would need. You cannot pull your car up to your site, which was a bit inconvenient but we made due. Bathrooms are nice! Very beautiful campsite.

The campsite is great, close to the lakes, but our neighbors were loud and the after reported to the host it looks they didnt do much becaue they didn't stop being loud and partying until almost midnight.

This was a lovely RV and tent camp with many amenities including a bathroom and showers, water and electric hookup, and close to Lake Sutherland and Lake Crescent. Beautiful!

A great site for a day at lake crescent. The bathrooms were clean and the site was nice. It is very close to the highway (as advertised) so if road noise is a problem for you I wouldn’t reccomend but otherwise a great place.

The sites were a bit smaller than I anticipated/appeared online, but it was so great to be able to get a site not too far from the lake and without booking 6-9 months in advance. The bathrooms were nice and we enjoyed seeing the market lights that are set up at the sites below us. I would stay here again.

The grass was a little hard to put stakes in and there some was noise with the traffic, but overall very good!
The tent was clean and perfect for our stay. The entire campground was actually very convenient in terms of location and amenities. My only complaint is how close and visible it was to the road. For one, it is loud (definitely bring earplugs), but my main concern was proximity. It is a safe area but I would have liked some kind of barrier between the campsite and the road - a gate, a line of trees, anything. There wasn't any. It was fully visible to the road and cars could just pull into the gas station and drive right to the campsites. Otherwise it was very nice. Great location and comfortable spot!

This was listed as tent/RV dispersed camping, but the dispersed sites just consist of a steep hill/field RIGHT off the highway. We have a small van camper and there wasn't really anywhere to park it except in the gas station/general store parking lot. The whole experience was pretty awkward and not great.

The place was very neat, clean, and well-maintained. We stayed for just one night, primarily because we wanted to watch the meteor shower from Lake Crescent, which is conveniently located right next to the property.
The only drawback is that the tent is fairly close to the highway, so there can be some traffic noise at night. I would recommend bringing earplugs if you are a light sleeper. To their credit, this is clearly mentioned on their website beforehand, which I appreciated.
Overall, it was a comfortable and convenient stay, especially for anyone visiting the Lake Crescent area.

I had a great stay here! I stayed in the dispersed camping area and slept in my car, and everything was exactly as described. The facilities were great, especially the hot shower, which was definitely a plus. There’s also a camp store with essentials, which was really convenient. The camp is close to the road, so there is some road noise, but other than that it felt cozy and comfortable. Overall, a really nice place to stay at a very fair price. I’d definitely stay here again!

I don't know that we'd stay in the other sites at Shadow Mountain, just because proximity is too close for our liking, but we really liked site 2. It had plenty of room and was backed up to the trees, which was nice.
Tent camping area was very confusing (also not flat) and I couldn't figure out where to park. Someone who I can only assume was staff walked up to me and gave me a card after I got out of my car and walked away. It said "congratulations you parked like an asshole." I asked him where I was supposed to park and he said I needed to turn my car so it was facing the other way. Why couldn't he have just said that to begin with?? Also highway noise was insane and the string lights stayed on all night shining through my tent so I couldn/t sleep. Definitely not worth the money.
Nice spot! Bathrooms and showers were clean! They do state that you can hear road noise, that is true, but not terribly.

Absolutely amazing great spot to base for ONP adventure!!
Pros:
So close to Lake Cresent. Wow!
Clean, spacious restroom with showers.
Lots of trees. They did a great job a blocking a lot of the road noise.
Legit flat spot to park for our campervan.
Respectful campers. No one was noisy or stayed up too late.
Easy hook ups for our RV.
Cons: The spots are really close together. The spot is intended for RVs so that makes sense, except we had tent campers on both sides of us so it felt a little invasive to have folks so close.

Overall we had a good experience, although our tent sites we super close to eachother on a field so there was 0 privacy or good places to park. We were kept up most of the night by loud cars driving by on the main road that was pretty close to the tent sites
We stayed at Shadow Mtn for three days, two nights, and we will absolutely be back! The bathrooms were cleaned daily, the laundry facilities looked super user friendly, and sites were spacious. The general store was a fantastic convince, and the campground cats were a lovely added bonus. The road noise was a little loud during the day, but the hwy is so slow through the night, I barely noticed it. Shadow mtn is a fantastic alternative to camping directly on lake crescent. its less crowded, affordable, clean, and so close to the lake. Plus the field provides an excellent opportunity for stargazing!

Overall the campsite has great facilities and it’s positioned in a good location. We had issues with dispersed campers setting up in our RV/parking spot for our paid sites. We spoke with the staff but they did little to help us move them. The campers also did not move after we spoke with them. So we went back to the staff again and they still did not come out to help. I think better instructions where dispersed campers can set up around paid sites would be helpful. The lights also did not work at our site and the staff had pretty little interest in helping us or knowledge to share on how they work.

As a group of 8 (5 kids under 10 and 3 adults), we really enjoyed this campsite. The kids had a huge field to play in and the loud highway noise canceled out the noises the kids made for the most part. It was nice having a shower, laundry, and flush toilets available. The store is definitely priced high but it works in a pinch. I do wish there was more grass in the actual campsite because it was quite dusty. I didn’t think the highway noise would bother me but I will say that every once in awhile I did wake to the sound of what I imagine rockets during take off make. Not too big of a deal as I can typically fall back asleep easily but for others who can’t, maybe don’t stay along highway 101.
Was a great location in regards to places we drove to visit (Hoh rainforest, forks, lake crescent). Campgrounds were maintained well. Showers were cleaned daily from what it seems like. Overall I liked it and the kids had a blast
My daughter and I were hammock camping. We had a beautiful spot reserved with lots of trees. When we arrived, the spot we were given wasn’t even a camping spot. It was literally on the edge of the parking lot, 50 ft from the road. There was nothing there. We slept in the car both nights.
The campground looked nice, but we did not get to enjoy it. The shower house was nice.
Great location! Clean! However, there was a burn ban because the whole state has been on fire and the campground didn't put out camper's fires. We saw some big ones too! So irresponsible

We had a great time! This was our first time camping here and our first time camping in the area.
The general store was convenient and easy to access. We were very thorough with our camping checklist, so we didn’t need anything—but they had everything you could need for a camper, from 50/30 amp plugs to a freshwater filter. They even offered kayak rentals.

The first day, the water faucet was damaged. It took 2 hours to fix it. The next morning our refrigerator was not working so I check my 5th wheel to see if I had and electrical issue. After 2 hours I found that it was the 50 amps electrical outlet of this campsite that was defective. Also, we had a friend who booked another site and the employee was very rude with her. We had no cell or internet service whatsoever.
