At night, solar lights add a warm, cozy glow to the space. You’ll be just 10 minutes from Beebe Park on the Columbia River and 20 minutes from Lake Chelan, making it a perfect home base for outdoor adventures and recreation. Please note: A portable camping toilet is required for anyone without an RV.

Please read the entire description before booking this site! The site includes 30-amp RV power and a water spigot! This site is ideal for couples or adventurous travelers seeking incredible views of Lake Chelan, the Columbia River, and the surrounding wine valley. Features include: a stone fire pit with a propane insert (bring your own propane tank or add one during booking), a couple’s bench to take in sunsets and sweeping views, and solar lights to create a cozy, atmospheric vibe at night. There’s a designated RV/trailer parking area at the top of the site, and below the sitting area, you’ll find parking for 4WD adventure vans, truck campers, teardrop trailers, rooftop tents, and overland vehicles. You’ll be just 10 minutes from Beebe Park on the Columbia River and only 20 minutes from downtown Lake Chelan and the heart of Chelan Wine Valley, making it the perfect base for exploring, relaxing, and enjoying the best of the area. Just a quick heads-up: it can get a little windy here, so it’s a good idea to plan accordingly. The campsite is located about 200 feet from our home, but we’ve designed it to give you the privacy you're looking for. It’s just the two of us and our two friendly dogs up here (don’t worry—they’re nice, and so are we!). You'll enjoy peaceful seclusion, gorgeous lake views, and plenty of space to relax. If you're up for a doggy playdate, just let us know! 🐾 Important: Tents are only allowed if you’re staying with an RV or trailer.

Great location with stunning views. It's definitely up there, and the road initially feels a little sketchy, but don't let that scare you. I was easily able to tow a 30ft trailer up no problem, and Chris came right out to assist and asked if I needed anything! Being so high, be prepared for wind, but if you get a night with no wind, the sunset views are amazing! I would definitely stay at these sites again!

This camping spot truly exceeded our expectations. The site was immaculately clean and well maintained, offering a peaceful retreat with breathtaking views of the valley. It felt wonderfully private, yet reassuringly safe, with a few residential properties nearby that didn’t intrude on the serenity. The host was exceptional—communicative, welcoming, and clearly thoughtful. As a sweet gesture, he left us delicious cookies for both me and my pups, which we enjoyed while soaking in the scenery. It’s little touches like this that make a stay memorable. Navigating and parking our RV was a breeze, and the site included a cozy tent with a comfortable bed, perfect for lounging and gazing down the valley. The propane firepit was a fantastic addition, and the host even provided a full tank, so we didn’t have to worry about setup. Overall, this place is a true gem—a perfect blend of comfort, nature, and hospitality. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy the outdoors with ease.

What a truly spectacular experience. This was our first trip out in our new (to us) RV, and I couldn’t think of a better way to spend it. The site itself was wonderful; we found it easily, RV hookups worked beautifully, the site was clean, the propane fire pit was excellent, I could go on and on. Great communication from the site hosts. The view, though? Unparalleled. Pictures can’t do it justice. Truly just a magical experience. I can’t gush enough about how great of a time we had. I’d love to return (again and again and again) in the future!

Great site! Quiet and beautiful location close enough to lake chelan to take advantage of it but far enough to avoid the crowds. Road up to the site is under construction which makes the drive to any activities longer than expected, but that probably won’t be relevant information much longer.

Cowboy Way was amazing!! The site was spacious with beautiful views, and our dogs also loved the space. We had so much fun with the bb gun, lasso, and catching some shade in the covered bed area as well. The stars at night were amazing too! Thanks Chris and Jennifer for the tasty cookies and fun stickers too! We'll definitely be back!!

I got to camp quite a bit later than intended, but Jennifer was there smiling and waiting to greet me! She made sure I didn’t need anything before she went inside for the evening. The view is absolutely stunning, and there’s a very comfortable seating area complete with a dog bed for the fur babies! Enjoyed my stay and will absolutely be back. 10/10 recommend.

Host was super responsive and helpful. View was beautiful with everything conveniently close by such as access to the Columbia River and lake chelan. We enjoyed the set up so much! Very thoughtful layout and pretty sunsets. Favorite time was in the evening with the all the lights around and also the cookies were wonderful! Definitely the spot you wanna be if you’re in town for some lake or river fun.

First Time Hipcamper!

This was my first experience with Hipcamp, and I'm sold! Chris and Jennifer were quick to respond my questions even before I booked, which I appreciated. The directions to Stagecoach and the map that they provided were extremely helpful. The road to get to the site is marked as primitive, and it can feel scary to less experienced campers (me!), but I towed my 21-foot travel trailer with my Jeep Grand Cherokee up and down the mountain with no issues. The area is very quiet and peaceful. We did hear some music and noise from the site just above ours the first night, but after that, it was serene. We saw quail, deer, and heard a coyote, so if you have a nervous and reactive dog (me!), be aware you will see wildlife. I had her on a lead for the duration of the trip. The sunsets were amazing. There is no shade at this particular site, so be mindful of that in hot, sunny weather. We had no issues with the hookups and appreciated the rocking chairs and propane fire pit. It was a perfect place to sit in the morning and the evening. We walked our dog up and down the mountain road and got to take a peek at the other sites in Sasquatch Villa, and must say, whichever you choose you can't go wrong. My only complaint is that when folks don't obey the speed limit on the dirt road (10 mph), it kicks up a bunch of dust into the site, but Chris and Jennifer can't control how fast or slow folks choose to drive.

This is my first review on Hipcamp. This place deserves it! Honestly one of our favorite places in WA, i though Earthlight was amazing, then we came here... If you like eastern WA, this is the place! Big plus, our hosts were amazing, and it's 20m from Chelan. This will become out annual spot for sure.

Beautiful view and the hosts responded to questions quickly. The propane fire pit was a nice touch. We have a Kodiak 12x12 canvas tent with an 8x8 vestibule and had enough room for two more campers. Very little shade so make sure you wear a hat and have a tarp canopy. 25 minute drive to downtown Chelan and Safeway.

What a wonderful a place to enjoy a gorgeous view. It was tucked in, so you felt private. But it was accessible to everything you needed in town. Cute amenities throughout. It was a lot of fun, and I would highly recommend!
