Rocky’s Retreat is located in the beautiful countryside of the Skykomish River Valley in the Pacific Northwest. It has breath-taking views of the Cascade Mountains. Historically, many Native Americans, including members of the Skykomish and Snohomish Tribes, occupied the Valley for countless centuries and were parts of a big native community on the populous shores of the Salish Sea. Once upon a time, after Western settlers founded local communities in mid 19 century, our valley was famous for mining gold and silver, farming and logging. Nowdays our valley is a big attraction for sustainable tourism and many recreational activities. Big parts of Rocky’s Retreat is a temperate rain forest and a wetland which was in the past the main channel of the Skykomish River. It was diverted to prevent severe flooding of our neighborhood in wet season. We are eco-friendlly and connection to nature is important to us. Our mission is to make our guests feel comfortable, at ease and at home and to promote healthy, balanced and harmonious living. We hope you will have a relaxing and peaceful stay, as well as a memorable and healing experience. 1 hour to Seattle, 45 minutes to Stevens Pass Ski Resort, close to trails, Wallace Falls State Park and Skykomish River.
