Within a 30-minute drive from the Heart o'the Hills.
Our property sits just outside the first entrance to Olympic National Park, surrounded by towering evergreens and open skies. It’s a place away from light and noise pollution, making it just as magical after sunset as it is during the day. On clear nights, the stars put on a remarkable show. When conditions are right, guests have even been treated to clear views of the Northern Lights dancing above Hurricane Ridge. Throughout the year, we host small retreats and intentional gatherings centered around connection with nature, community, and well-being. In between those gatherings, we welcome a limited number of overnight guests to experience this special place for themselves. We care deeply for this land and strive to tend to it with respect, preserving the sense of peace that makes it unique. Whether you’re visiting Olympic National Park, gathering around the fire, wandering our forest loop trail, or simply sitting beneath the trees, we hope you’ll discover that nature has a remarkable way of bringing us back to ourselves.Fern Camp is best suited for guests seeking a quiet, nature-immersed experience rather than a lively campground atmosphere. If you're looking for a place to unplug, spend time outdoors, and enjoy the peace that comes with dark skies and birdsong, you'll feel right at home here. Because the property was designed as a peaceful retreat, we aren't well suited for young children or pets (but please feel free to reach out if you have older tweens/teens that appreciate this sort of atmosphere). We welcome people of all backgrounds, identities, and orientations. Our hope is that everyone who visits feels safe, respected, and able to simply be themselves in the great outdoors. We wish you a peaceful and memorable stay in our little corner of the Olympic Peninsula.
