Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Walk downstream at low-tide, or access by boat/kayak. The property is downstream approximately 1 mile from Vista Park, Skamakowa. It is just west of the washed out pier and the small stream. See “colombia river permaculture project” on Google for GPS/location. IMPORTANT: I am told that the default Hipcamp booking tries to take people to a generic ‘skamakowa valley’ address, so please follow the instructions HERE. Also, if hipcamp by default says anything about parking or the host meeting you, that too is incorrect. This is raw land with some camp spots.Camp anywhere you like, the entire 3.6 acre property is for only one group at a time. Enjoy the private beach and fishing, or hike uphill and enjoy the freshwater stream.

Private beach with fresh stream
Nice place to camp . Coordinates a little off so u have more of a 20 minute walk to location depending on how much you are packing down from car to site. I wouldn’t recommend taking young kids to walk from were coordinates take u it can be kinda tricky. But other then those few things once u get there it’s very secluded and the private beach is awesome to hang out do bonfires etc . Would definitely be a cool place to do and old school bonfire party . Would go again and recommend

This camp was amazing and was the perfect getaway from everyone. Little light pollution so much that we saw the Milky Way when it was clear and a cruise ship pass by on the river. It’s a walk but it’s worth it. Finding parking is also quite difficult.
