Please write me with any questions you have. I have a rental cabin (Spring Creek Cabins) in the area too that is closer to Lake Cle Elum. Lots of large groups have reserved multiple or all sites for their large groups and for more privacy. However please keep in mind the place still needs to be cleaned up upon leaving. Private camp area close and easy access to Forest service road 4517 that has ATV, dirt bike and snowmobile trails in amazing Cle Elum's Little Creek and Granite Creek area. Can take ride ORV from campground to Forest road, but no trail riding in campground or surrounding gravel roads. Vehicles must have spark arrestors. Quiet and private for groups to hang out and enjoy the area, hiking, exploring, and enjoying the night sky. We often kayak at Easton State Park or at Cooper Lake and then come back to this private camp area away from the crowds. Huge parking and camping area where 10+ vehicles and RVs can easily drive to and park before heading out on the trail or use as a base camp to enjoy the peaceful mountains around you and explore are area around you. You will enjoy the peaceful hills and unobstructed views of a stary night sky. No electrical or water hookups. This is not a KOA, it's a very private rough campground area with beautiful views. There are no manicured lawns, but lots of rocky areas and often wildlife walking about. Deer and turkeys often are seen and grasshoppers when its warm. Forest Road to campsite often is bumpy with good sized potholes. The internet service via T-Mobile is incredible on 4/18/2024 I was getting the following at the entrance of the camp area: 80 - 181 Mbps Down 5- 10.2 Mbps Up

Site A is where you will spend beautiful nights and mornings watching the mountain views change during sunrise and sunset. Plenty of cover in the trees to keep you out of the sun as you enjoy your own private oasis. Two main tent areas are available. And to campfire areas are available for you to use. The site is a short walk up a hill with 2 areas to enjoy the mountain views. One viewing area has a large rock where guests can sit and enjoy the campfire area and eat. The main camping spot is recently leveled and is 7' x 8' which is normally good for up to a 3 person tent. Another camping spot is available a little down further into the tree cover if more room is desired. Truck parking area is right below the camping spot. Perfect for bikes, ATV etc. Short walk to the Honey Bucket. Temporarily park your truck and unload by the path to the campsite site and then use long term parking right below the site or off to the side of Misty Mountain Way. Campsite is a short drive on forest road 4517, if you are into ORV this forest service road is perfect for you to enjoy a fun day on before you come back to camp to relax.

Hunters Welcome! Super huge area for parking, RVs, tents and camping area. A couple fire areas are setup and you can make your own. Please bring own propane camp stoves and fire pits during burn bans. Large area is 140' x 115' to bring your dirt bikes, ATVs, 4x4's and other toys. Ride directly from the campsite to your favorite offroad trails and forest service road 4517. Probably should be a limit of four to five 25 ft RVs per group. But there is room for more if needed. There is plenty of additional room for parking for additional trucks. Access to site is from bumpy FS Road 4517. To the North East area is a large path that is surrounded by trees. It's a great area to escape the sun and setup an additional campsite in the flat area. Very easy access to forest service road 4517 and soon the trails connected to it. You will be able to ride your off road vehicle directly from the property.

Hunters Welcome! Large area and parking in site for a truck and tent with 1 small RV. Even with a tent setup there is room for 38' parking spot. Please bring own propane camp stoves and fire pits during burn bans. Campsite is close to road 4517 which can be very bumpy. Campsite area is very private and quiet. Large area is 41' x 20' plus a parking area at the entrance to keep bring your dirt bikes, ATVs, 4x4's and other toys. Ride directly from the campsite to your favorite offroad trails and forest service road 4517 on your bikes, ATV etc. Flat tent area is: 15' x 11' and has woodchips put down. The site is surrounded by trees for shade. Very easy access to forest service road 4517 and the trails connected to it. You will be able to ride your off road vehicle directly from the property and have close access to the porta-potty

Aggressive neighbor + his gun

The host and the site were fine (directions could use distances in them). We won't be coming back, though, because of a neighbor named Chad. Chad drove on to the property we were renting, without permission, riding a dirt bike and wearing a gun strapped to his chest. He was immediately aggressive. He dusted us when he pulled up next to our group sitting in chairs and our table (with food out). He immediately demanded to know why the gate was open (it was open when we arrived, not that this makes any difference in how Chad treated us). He would not communicate to me (a woman) directly, but kept talking over me about how he was not as kind to the last people that trespassed on his property. He kept referencing and patting the gun on his chest. We were not on his property. He was in fact trespassing on his neighbors' property that we were currently renting. We were not breaking any laws. He also mentioned that he was on controlled substances. We were eventually able to redirect his energy, deescalate his visible anger, and get his name. He threatened to come back if the gate was open again, but did leave the property after talking about his gun once again. To leave- he made a point to drive between our group (sitting in camping chairs) and our table with food, to once again dust us with his dirt bike. The entire situation was beyond disrespectful and clearly an attempt to instill fear and threaten our group. We won't be back. Chad sucks.

Nice little spot! It was an appropriate size for 1 large tent and 1 vehicle. I probably would not park a trailer here. Note that it is adjacent to the large site (site 2). Porta potty super clean. I'd come back to this site or site 2. If I came with a group, I would get both sites 1 and 2. Easy access to ATV and dirt bike riding. Lots of trails to get lost on!

This site worked out well for a small celebration, (3 people), though we didn’t spend much time on the property. The bathroom was clean. On our second night (Sunday), we had the property to ourselves. Use the directions that Brian provides, and you shouldn’t have trouble finding it. The USFS road in has quite a few potholes to navigate. We managed just fine in a SUV and crossover. I had cell service with Verizon.

Brian was amazing & this spot was awesome. We had a group of about 13 stay there this weekend. Site was clean upon arrival, there were tables, chairs, a fire pit and even some extra firewood. Porta potty was super clean when we arrived. Definitely important to follow the host’s written directions once you exit i90. The last two miles of road was gravel and had some potholes but nothing too crazy. We were able to get everyone in and out without any problems (we had two small trailers and two motorcycles). We did notice some fire ants burrowing near the fire pit but camping comes with bugs - just something to be aware of. We rented all 3 of the campsites for extra space and privacy. Brian was super communicative and answered all questions we had quickly. He even offered to let us check in early the day of the trip which was very kind. We would absolutely stay here again! Thanks Brian!

Campsite was perfect for our large group! Honey bucket was clean as well. Beautiful area and a fun drive in. Not ideal to drive in at night as its easy to miss a turn but during the day its pretty simple! Will def be back next time we do a big group camping trip!

Great spot for a van. Very secluded, quiet, but still had amenities of a campground (firewood, Porto, table). My dog loved the open space to throw the ball around.

Camp A is in a nice cozy spot on top of the little hill. We happened to be the only ones in the entire campsite, so we had plenty of space in the clearing to cook and watch the stars. Had a great experience!

Huge space! So much room for the vehicles and tents along with room for kids and dogs to roam. Secluded but easy access. Road was a little bumpy and dusty but not too bad. Loved that there was a port-a-potty on the property. Close enough to Roslyn and Cle Elum to grab a bite to eat and see the town.

Camping at Brian's property was great. Brian was good at communicating and accomidating our party. We have 7 adults and 4 dogs on the site which was tight but doable. You can hear the highway from the site when its quiet out but it didn't bother is. Site was clean and clearly labled. We had a little confusion with the directions to get to the site but once we figured out the turn we missed all was well from there. The other large site was close bit we didn't have any problems with noise or interupting each other.

Brian was a great host and helped us tremendously. We appreciated his advice on local lakes and local establishments . The campsite is huge and we were able to have 3 large tents and 3 shade canopies set up with plenty of area for soccer and badminton and other activities . A tip is to bring a shade tent . It was hot and dry and not much shade most of day. The wide open space made for excellent star gazing. I think it would be a gorgeous place to camp in the fall . I highly recommend this for large groups.

This site wasn’t ideal for our group, but that wasn’t the host’s fault. It was rougher/wilder than we expected, with rocky uneven ground that tripped the little kids a lot. There were lots of calf-height scrubby plants. There were massive numbers of curious bald faced hornets, constantly running into our faces and getting into tents. Our group was chill and didn’t swat at them, so thankfully only one person got stung. Some of our group hid from them the whole time. About two miles of very bumpy dirt road with potholes- I wouldn’t take a low clearance vehicle. The positive: Amazing privacy- our group could play music and sing. We reserved both sites to have the place to ourselves. The wildlife- deer, butterflies, grasshoppers the kids had fun catching, and wild turkeys! The size- we had a group of about 20, with tents and one RV, and it’s hard to find a site that big.

Very good host. Long 1.5 miles through chuckholes to Misty Mtn Way. Could use a marker or sign but still easy to spot. I wouldn't take an RV over 20' up there and it really should be an offroad one. You are really in the woods. Excellent star gazing. Very, very quiet.

Tenting at Pine Peak was an experience! It is located a little bit out there to get to but that means you are quite secluded and surrounded by nature. I did not hear any of the other campers and enjoyed my evening in the woods. Really nice that Brian provides a port-a-potty for campers and kayaks as well. Also even though I was deep in nature I still had cell service for connectivity which was a great bonus!

Our family enjoyed our weekend camp out on Brian’s land! We rode our ATV’s and explored the woods. Would definitely recommend for anyone who wants to explore the area! Only tip- Don’t forget your bug spray like us!

We enjoyed tent camping on Brian’s land. This was our first Hipcamp experience and Brian was incredibly communicative and helpful. The property was quiet even with neighboring campers and felt more private than a campground. You can tell this host takes pride in his property and wants each guest to have a great experience. The scenery was beautiful and we would highly recommend any of Brian’s spots. Short distance to Cle Elum, Roslyn, and Ronald. This peaceful property is one we will be returning to.

Awesome, flat, private spot. Would be perfect for group campouts. Easy enough to get to. My 2 Wheel drive sprinter got there no problem. Felt peaceful and safe. Extremely clean, porta potty. Would definitely recommend this spot.

Great camping spot with beautiful sky views! We had exceptional star gazing, and woke up to birdsong after a peaceful night. Brian is a conscientious and responsive host. His driving directions led us right to the spot with no confusion.
