Pekin Ferry

Hosted by Pekin · Ridgefield, Washington

Pekin Ferrys' history dates back to the 1800's possibly further as our neighbor dates back to the times of the Hudson bay co. The Name Pekin Ferry we believe originates from the lost town of Pekin. Pekin was located in the area which is currently Woodland. Our home was known as Davis landing prior to the dike road and the 'Pekin' ferry sank and was left here. This ferry was known as the Bozarth ferry which was named after a prominent family of the time in the Woodland area. As time went on our home has housed many interesting story until The Robisons purchased it in 1987. The Legend has continued with hundreds of stories around the bonfire and years and years of amazing memories.
