Welcome To Paradise Ridge Homestead:
Lazily drive 5 miles up the side of the mountain on a gravel road lined with cedar trees as the road winds and criss-crosses a beautiful mountain stream.
I proudly maintain 13.43 forested mountain acres featuring a pond, spring, huge cedar trees, red and white fir trees, seasonal wildlife: wild turkey, bear, bobcat, lynx, wolves, grouse, pheasant, moose, elk, white trail and so much more! I am nestled in a bowl on the mountain with high ridges on 3 sides which feature spactular views from the top of my little mountain homestead. Enjoy challenging hiking both on my land and in the surounding areas. Tons of recreational activities including hunting and state lands less than one mile from the main cabin and office for non-motorized activities. I have a small dog sledding kennel for work and recreational enjoyment of my land and the surrounding areas and I am working hard to build a permaculture homestead. By choosing to visit my homestead you are helping me pursue my dreams and for that I thank you with all my heart!
Thank you for choosing to visit Paradise Ridge Homestead!Welcome to my homestead! I am an old school homesteader, I raise chickens, ducks, and turkeys. I will be expanding my livestock over the next few years to include, rabbits and sheep. I am happy to provide farm fresh eggs and seasonal produce from my gardens and orchard once producing. I am off grid and enjoy the simple life but still have many of the comforts of modern technology but in a unique and creative way!
Pitch your tent in one of our primitive campsites and relax in the quiet calm of this beautiful mountain. My land is home to bear, moose, elk, white tail, wild turkey, and several species of wild cats. Explore our land and discover old growth cedar forests, springs, and many wild editable and medicinal herbs. Hike the property and enjoy the beautiful scenery year round! I hope you will fall in love with my land and home like I have after staying on my mountain homestead!
Just 1 mile from federally protected land, where you can hike, mountain bike, and horseback ride (no motorized vehicles) on well established trails. Deer Lake is about 8 miles away for water sports and swimming as well as Loon Lake (about 10 miles), and several others that are public access within 20 miles from my homestead. Ask for a map when checking in. I am happy to help you explore our beautiful area!
Pick any spot to camp so long as it is within the boundary of my property and enjoy!
