Come roam or nestle in our 329 acres of ponderosa pine forest, meadows, ravines and basalt cliffs! You could find a camping spot here and not see a soul or a building. The property borders both sides of the Latah/Hangman Creek that stretch a mile and a half long and half a mile wide. The campsite area is level and grassy. You'll be only 30 minutes south of Spokane and its amenities. It's an easy and beautiful drive through the Palouse, and you will not believe how remote this place feels. Pets are welcome, if well-behaved. Please pick up after your pet. Campfires are allowed within local regulations. Off-ground fire pit allowed for use ONLY when landscape is damp and fire-resistant. Starting June 1st, extra precautions required. NEVER leave a fire unattended. We provide an outhouse with a camp toilet, but other than that, there are no facilities here. Campers will need to be self-contained and leave no trace.Come roam or nestle in our 329 acres of ponderosa pine forest, meadows, ravines and basalt cliffs! You'll be only 30 minutes south of Spokane and its amenities, but you will feel like you are on another planet.  Well-behaved pets are welcome. Please pick up after your pet. Also be aware that there are coyotes on the property, and coyotes have been known to prey on domestic pets that wander too far from their human companions. **** From October 15-December 1st we have 225 goats on the property for fall forage and weed control. The herd is managed by Les and Shay and their 2 herding dogs, Hank and Reena, and their predator protection dog, Koda. Guests will need to have their pets under control so as not to disturb the goat operation. Campfires are allowed only in the raised fire pit, and only within local regulations. Fires restricted after June 1st due to wildfire danger. NEVER leave any fire unattended in any season. Nice little outhouse with camper toilet provided on-site. Flat spot to camp
I did not have a chance to explore the property while I was there and plan on coming back to do so. The camp site was flat, it was near the property care taker, goats, guard dogs and horses. I felt like the price was a little steep for what you got. The outhouse was not great, with a bag you had to poop in, not sure if I was supposed to take the bag with me or just leave it there so I just went outside. Next time I will just bring my pop-up tent trailer, it would be an easy spot to back in for a small trailer if you were ok with dry camping. The property does look beautiful from the pictures.

Nice, quite and peaceful
Sarah helped my husband and I out when we were in a bind on where to sleep during our road trip. Her and her husband were very helpful! Their place is very peaceful and quite. Would recommend to anyone passing through.

It was beautifully remote and peaceful! Rebecca met us at the gate to help us find the location. Our dogs had a great time leaping through the fields. The stars and sunrise were beautiful. Coyotes howled throughout the night. If you like remote settings and coyotes, this is a great camping spot. Thanks, Rebecca!

Great spot overall!
Loved the location, site and scenery. Everything was beautiful. The only slight hiccups were it was a little hard to find gate to enter property and the camp spot was a bit overgrown. Kids complained about the itchy tall grass, nothing that can't be easily mowed down. The fire pit was amazing as well as the communication from the host.
