Welcome to Neighborwood, a soulful eco-retreat nestled in the quiet forest of Harstine Island, Washington. This thoughtfully crafted escape invites you to slow down, reconnect with nature, and find stillness in a space designed for restoration, creativity, and meaningful connection. Each stay at Neighborwood is intimate and intentional. Our offerings include a modern off-grid cabin, a cozy vintage trailer, and a peaceful tent campsites—each built with natural materials, solar-powered amenities, and curated design touches that celebrate simplicity and beauty. Inside, you'll find organic bedding, locally made ceramics, and minimal yet warm interiors that reflect the surrounding woods. Step outside and you're immersed in a private forest sanctuary. Wander the winding trails, gather around the community firepit, or take a moment to swing in the hammock under the towering firs. Guests are encouraged to enjoy our outdoor shower and our (soon-to-be-finished) handcrafted wood-fired sauna, available as an optional add-on experience that deepens the sense of rejuvenation. Neighborwood is more than a place to stay—it's a place to engage. We offer seasonal workshops and occasional communal meals, highlighting local makers, wellness practices, and the slow rhythms of island life. Rustic clamping in the PNW

Neighborwood was the perfect glamping experience. Tyler was a generous host with a nice touch for whimsy and beauty. The trailer was well supplied and cute in a rustic way. I was super comfy and relaxed. I loved the outdoor shower. I'd definitely go back.

Private, quiet escape on a shared piece of forested property. Tyler was a gracious host. It's evident that a lot of care is taken to make the camp feel special. My partner, two pups and I loved our two peaceful nights there. Highly recommend this magical retreat.

Quiet and comfortable

A quiet and well-appointed place for some time alone. I was looking for somewhere to unwind away from a computer screen and to get some writing and thinking done; this was exactly what I wanted. There's a hammock and a good table for writing in the camper. I slept well and ate well and got some really good work done. I wish I could have stayed a third night.

Cute and cozy camper

What a lovely weekend I had at Tyler's adorable vintage trailer. Nestled in the deep forest of Harstine Island, it feels a million miles away from civilization and yet you have all the comforts and amenities of home. The trailer is very comfortable, the porta poty was clean and actually smells good and the outdoor shower is incredible; Tyler has created a truly special retreat. I had a great time exploring the island and will definitely be a return camper!

Really enjoyed my stay here! Everything was as advertised, the surrounding area is very peaceful and quiet, and the camper is super cozy and well maintained. The outdoor shower was fantastic! Loved watching the sunset in the hammock that overlooks the trees. Highly recommend all around!

This was not only a very beautiful location and had everything it said AND more but also the host was phenomenal! super friendly, very knowledgeable and was easy to reach with any questions! perfect place for a cute getaway even with the pup! 1000% booking again!

Perfect spot for a Forrest bath. Quite literally, the shower is amazing. The spot is quiet and secluded. Tyler is very helpful, friendly and responsive. The resident puppy, Koa, was an added bonus. 10/10, would do again.

Staying in Tyler’s vintage camper was a dream! We had a great time making meals with the little stove, sitting by the fire, chilling in the hammock, and making trips to nearby beaches. Tyler is a very gracious and welcoming host. Would absolutely recommend staying here for a cozy retreat in the woods.

This is the first time I have stayed at a place like this, or even been on Harstine Island, but wow it was such a fantastic experience. From the first drive down the driveway, I could tell we were in for a blissful night under the trees. I live in the city, so it's hard to get away from the lights and bustle of the town... The trailer was so sweet and tasteful. Clearly the host had put a ton of work into it. Coffee on the stove: check, small trails to walk around: check. The absolute best part- the outdoor shower. Cute mirrors, hot water, ferns, trees... worth it for the admission alone. I will dream about the shower for years to come... I'll be back on Harstine, that's for sure.

Peaceful nature retreat

We had a great time staying at Tyler’s little camper. He put so much thought into everything, even fresh cut flowers. The camper is situated just above a ravine, and we enjoyed just sitting enjoying the view and listening to the birds. Tyler had a small fire pit and firewood available in the seating area. The outdoor shower was divine although a little cold getting out. The toilet is a porta-potty, which was fine because we were the only ones using it. The kitchenette was well stocked, with three burners, a small oven, sink, basic utensils, dishes, spices, tea, pot, and pan. The camper is pretty remote, and Tyler is a very thoughtful, respectful host who was always available but kept his distance. A lovely place to unplug and just be in nature!
