Nestled in the heart of Randle, Washington, Cowlitz Falls Lavender Co. offers a serene camping area on a farm surrounded by the stunning Cascade Mountain Range and is central to Mount St. Helens, Mount Rainier, and the Mount Adams wilderness. Our farm serves as a haven for nature lovers, providing convenient base camp access to an abundance of outdoor activities including exploring lakes, caves, waterfalls, trails, and the picturesque Cowlitz River. Established in 2014 with camping areas first introduced in late 2022, our farm has transformed neglected land into a thriving lavender paradise with more. Campers can choose from a site directly near the lavender field or several more private sites in the peaceful forested area which also have trail access to the fields. A property loop walking trail is accessible by all campers and is the perfect warm up walk or evening cool down. We now feature a wood-fired outdoor shower for the ultimate camping experience and are excited to offer increasing rustic homestead style amenities for off-season or colder climate campers while actively increasing the care and management our forested land. Immerse yourself in nature at Cowlitz Falls Lavender Co. and create unforgettable memories amidst the beauty of the Pacific Northwest. Complete with your own fire pit and separate charcoal grill, this site offers a serene escape with a direct view of the picturesque lavender field. Please ensure you come prepared as this spot is for dry camping, but has a porta-potty, hand wash station and potable water refill nearby. Grass road access from gravel road to a meadow in the forested area of the property. Space for one to two tents or a camper van, site expands rearward to accommodate more tents or privacy structures. Site has it's own fire pit with pit grill. Most stock height cars or light camper vans can travel on the grassy road/field. Looking to take over the whole meadow area? Also book the Meadow Life site at the same time and your group can have a usable space of about 1.5 acres. Split cord wood available for purchase on site with cash box or by pre-order. Porta-potty located within short walk of the sites with wash station. Access to the Big Bottom Trail which circles the 47 acre property. One of the most private sites we offer, this site can accommodate up to two vehicles, or one camper van and is mostly out of view when occupied. The opening of the site affords room for up to two larger tents, or three smaller ones. Providing shade in the hot months, and can be easily tarped in the off season with plenty of tree branch anchor options. In case of poor weather, a 5 foot trail leads to an area of limbed timber to the north side of the site that can accommodate one tent. Private fire pit with swivel over grill. Note that this site can be subject to tighter burn restrictions due to it's proximity to trees and the weather/fuel moisture conditions on your arrival. We will notify you on arrival or by request if burning is limited specifically for this site. In these cases gas camp grills are still allowed. Note: This site will accommodate one Camper Van/Short Off-Road type trailer and a few tents, or multiple tents. Meadow Life Large Family Campsite

If you are returning to this site, check out a few great off season upgrades! This site now has a gravel RV pull in parking from the main road, in addition you still have optional grass road access from gravel road to the meadow in our forested area of the property. With space for a single RV, multiple tents, or additional camper vans it also has it's own central fire pit with pit grill. Most stock height cars or light camper vans can travel on the grassy road/field and the gravel RV loop is accessible to RV's in the 30 foot range. Very large area for your large group to spread out, room for yard games. If you need even more room also book the Kiona View site with this one and camp about 2 acres of combined area. Enjoy a lovely campsite designed for your convenience and comfort! Nestled in a semi-remote location on our farm, this site offers easy pull-in RV access with ample space for extra tents and awnings or as a tent base camp using the RV spot to park multiple vehicles with ease. Directly accessible from the site is our Big Bottom Trail, perfect for leisurely walks or to access a beautiful lavender field nearby. The D shape of the RV pull-off ensures convenient camp-side door exposure without the hassle of backing up, and the large cul-de-sac at the end of the road allows for a smooth turnaround when you're ready to depart. Smaller RV's or camper vans are welcome to position closer in the site as needed. This site can accommodate a single RV up to pusher diesel size. All of our sites are dry camping but we do have water refill access up front and an RV dump site within 2 miles. You'll find a central portable toilet and hand wash station within a short walk, along with a personal at site stocked wood storage box for your campfires. Don't forget to enjoy the fire ring and picnic table provided for your outdoor dining. Relax the whole time or make this your base camp for your exploration in the valley! We had an awesome night out in the Wooded Glade site. This was our Shepherd's first camping trip and it was a huge success. Justin's property is wonderful, and we loved walking around on the hiking trail.

Lone Cherry Grove Private Campsite
We loved camping in the Lone Cherry Grove! The site was just the right size for three tents, two hammocks, and parking at the edge. You can tell Justin has thought of everything. The shower was cold only because I didn’t wait for it to heat up—but it felt wonderfully refreshing. The fire pit is dreamy: large enough to cook over and gather around, with a wide gravel circle for peace of mind about stray sparks. Even the portapotties were spotless (a rarity!) and came with the promise of cleanup if needed. The handwashing station next to them had soap and doubled as a place to fill our fire-safety bucket. Justin stopped by once to refill our water and check in—thoughtful without ever intruding. He was also quick to reply on the app and even answered when I called to confirm our site, which made arrival stress-free. The land is flat, forested, and peaceful, with a beautiful walking trail that loops the property. If you want to step away, there’s a river, gas station, and burger joint only seven minutes out. Our group of six all agreed: this Hipcamp is a hidden gem, and we’d love to return!

Lone Cherry Grove Private Campsite
We had a wonderful time at the lavender farm! The Lone Cherry Grove spot is secluded enough to feel like you're deep in the woods, but close enough to the owner's property that we felt very safe. The fire pit was the perfect ending to the busy day that we had before arriving, and we got a surprise visit from the very friendly farm cat while we were relaxing. The site is very close to a very clean porta potty. We didn't even heat up the water for the outdoor shower and it was incredibly refreshing. We arrived just after cut your own lavender season ended but were still able to buy some of Cowlitz Farm's products that Justin personally delivered to our campsite. They smell incredible! We would definitely stay again.

Very cute and calm spot for camping. The campsites are very far apart so you have lots of privacy. We had a well maintained gravel area with a fire pit, a bench and chairs, and even fire wood and tools to set up the fire. We lived the fast that our dogs could be off leash! When you arrive at the farm, drive to the grey container and there’s a map with the campsite numbers there. The porter potty was full, but I guess it’s due to the long Labor Day weekend.

Kiona View Group Campsite
I really enjoyed camping here. The campsites were large and spread out enough that you definitely felt like you had your own space. My dogs and I enjoyed the trail around the property every morning and I loved the mountain views! I didn’t have a campfire, but there is a very nice fire pit and the wood is easily accessible. I appreciated the shower after my dusty hikes!!

This site is great unless you need help from the host and need absolute quiet. The forest was nice and the campsites were far from each other. However, on the second night, we heard something that resembled gunshots and around 11pm someone was playing loud music. We also needed help from the host one time and went over to the main building. After knocking and ringing the bell, nobody came out although we had heard conversations inside the house that stopped as soon as we knocked on the door.

Wooded Glade Private Campsite
It was easy to find, hassle-free getting to the actual camp site, which was beautiful! The lavender farm property is gorgeous with a number of amenities. No light pollution at night made for an incredible view of the stars. Close to lots of outdoor recreational opportunities. Bonus: you can order items from the lavender farm’s gift shop ahead of time and they kindly deliver to your campsite! I highly recommend this location.

We had a very nice site, with a nice view of the lavender field during the day, a good night sky view. The site was well set up for our trailer and would be great for a motorhome as well. The location was good for both Mt Ranier National Park and Mt. St Helens.

The whole farm was very pretty. We had the Lone Cherry Grove. Very spacious site. The check in was easy. We found fun things to do on the lavender farm site. Also having a dish wash station, Porta potty , and a shower near by was very nice. Would gladly stay again!

My second stay at this location. My family could join me this time including some family from Maine. We enjoyed the space a privacy. This location is first class all the way! I recommended to some friends and I believe they are camped there right now.

As first-time Hipcamp users, we couldn't have picked a better place than Cowlitz Lavender Farm. From start to finish, the hospitality was outstanding. The hosts went above and beyond, even helping us jump start our car when we needed it. The location was perfect for us as a young couple, with plenty to do nearby in Packwood and some of the most breathtaking hikes just some miles north in Mount Rainier National Park. Our campsite was peaceful and exactly what we were hoping for. It was surrounded by beauty and quiet, yet close to all the adventure we wanted. It really made our trip unforgettable, and we're already looking forward to returning in the years to come. Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a welcoming place to camp!

We had a great time camping on the Meadow Life campsite! The views were beautiful and the land felt so peaceful. There was plenty of space, and we enjoyed the hike on the farm as well. Communication with Justin was really easy leading up to the trip, and we would recommend the lavender farm to anyone looking to camp in the area!

My wife and I had a great time it was quiet, peaceful and we enjoyed our time together. Justin and his family was very helpful throughout our stay. His son was very knowledgeable and awesome, which helped me to decide a few gifts to surprise my wife with. I would definitely recommend the lavender view site seeing the field and the mountains together was majestic.

This campground was beautiful! So peaceful and quiet. The hosts were wonderful and very responsive and accommodating. Very clean sites. The lavender smelled so fresh and bought some oil and items from their shop, which were great quality.

Justin and his family were all extremely hospitable and friendly - helped us find our camp site, navigate around the property to find the shower, the portapotty, and even provided daily restocked firewood. The property is extremely well maintained and you have pretty much everything you could ask for when going camping. The portapotty is extremely clean, the shower set up is easy to use, and the fire pits with the shovels and water buckets made it a pleasant experience. The moonlight lit up the entire property and it was great for stargazing. This is a pack-in and pack-out site so it’s important to bring large heavy duty garbage bags to take the garbage out with you when you leave.

We had such a wonderful time camping on Justin’s lavender farm. It was a perfect getaway for me and my friends. The outhouses provided were clean and well stocked they even had hand sanitizer. The outdoor shower was cool and refreshing (though it did take us a while to find it). The walking trail around the back portion of the property was scenic and lovely during the evenings. Walking through the lavender fields and listening to the hundreds of bees buzzing around you is electrifying. It’s a beautiful, enchanting place and they have made great use of their beautiful property! Thank you so much for sharing it with us!

Overall we had a great experience and loved the lavender garden, views and space of the campsite. We wouldn’t likely stay again at this camp site, however, unless they improve the bathroom situation/offering. Rather than lightheartedly explain why the port o potty was more full than we might be used to, they might instead take the feedback seriously and consider emptying it more often to improve camper’s experience. There wasn’t soap either which would be a small but meaningful change in the experience as well.
