The campsite came with chairs, a picnic table and a fire pit. They had wood for sale and buckets for putting out the fire as well. The outhouse was clean and they had a spigot with well water nearby. Fern gully was so cute. I would definitely come back. I did peak at the other sites too and sun-kissed meadow was just so beautiful. Highly recommend.

The setting is lovely; the host has clearly put a lot of thought into the campsites. I appreciated having a bathroom. If staying in a tent, this would be a top notch site—there is a nice, level sandy cleared spot partially secluded by surrounding brush for privacy that would have been perfect for pitching a tent or two. However, we were staying in our camper van and it was very difficult to find a parking spot near the site to get it level; we couldn’t actually get it all the way level, we just wound up getting it level from side to side and sleeping with our head a bit higher than our feet. A level spot for an RV or van would really make this site perfect.

The hosts are super nice. There was an issue and they came right down to deal with it. That's greatly appreciated. The property is beautiful and well kept. The campsites are large and well maintained. There was some garbage that somebody had left behind but we picked that up and took care of it.

We had a great time at Fern Gully. It felt very private despite a couple other campsites on the property, and the directions and signage made it easy to find. The toilet was very clean. It rained super hard during our stay but the trees overhead kept the site much dryer than it could have been.

We had a lovely time camping here! The site was easy to find, conveniently located (both w/r the on-site water, port-o-potty, and firewood and nearby amenities). Nice blend of easy-access + rural feel.

Based on the description, we thought we'd be in a wooded area away from homes. The pictures are of the view when facing the campsite. However, turn around and you are basically in someone's backyard looking at their house, shed and shop. Didnt feel private at all. We left and found another hipcamp truly out in nature. You are basically in the middle of the city of Graham.

Great spot for a group! We were able to spread out tents and let kids roam and play. Hosts were very nice and offered to give kids a ride in 4-wheeler and showed us their cool property and fig trees. Great spot for a close to seattle little camping trip, especially for kids to run free and play! They loved the tree swings. There were quite a few ants, but they didn’t bother us much, we just tried to pick tent spots not right on their (ant) highways or (ant) neighborhoods.

We enjoyed our stay, we came for 3 nights in the middle of July. the space was semi-private, there’s a side road next to our campsite so there were people driving past more often than we expected. the bathroom and water spigot were close, less than a minute to walk there. this spot was shaded and had a nice breeze going through it so we stayed cool even through it was in the 80’s! not too far from grocery stores, etc. we had some trouble finding the site at first from the main road, but once we were on their property it was easy!

We stayed three nights at Majestic Meadows (Fern Gully). The campgrounds are spacious, clean, and quiet. The hosts were friendly and accessible via message. We did have some issues with finding the place via GPS, so just note that you might have to pull over and re-enter the address. It is right behind the fire station, which makes for a convenient landmark.
I would recommend the site for folks who are looking for a mellow and quiet place to camp.
Things to note:
1) The campsite is right behind a fire station, so you will occasionally hear sirens. This didn't bother us, and it wasn't constant.
2) If you're squeamish about outhouses, you might want to consider that this is a vault-type toilet. It is maintained, but on hotter days it may be odiferous.
3) If you're camping with kids, there are at least two decent playgrounds nearby. One is in downtown Orting (right across from an ice-cream shop). There's also one just outside Orting.
4) It looked like three out of four of the sites had a good amount of shade (I can say this is true for Fern Gully). The weather was pleasant while we were there, but Fern Gully has a slight slope, so you might want to be conscious of that while setting up your camp.

This location is great if you want the convenience of being near a town with supplies and groceries just a few mins away. It’s a pretty spot. I think it’s a great place to bring kids. There is a lake about 10 minutes away where you can go fishing… As far as swimming, I think the nearest lake may be about 30 minutes away. The hosts were awesome and super accommodating.

Booked on this site. Drove down from BC and it took me to a fire department. On the write up from host said they were situated behind the fire department.
There was NO camp ground. Tried calling the host went to voice mail. This site was a scam. I do not recommend it.
I talked to some locals and no one have ever heard of the place. I want my money back.

Great location not too far from Mt. Rainier and close to stores as well. The serenity Grove site was really nice, very clean, and the trees did make it feel more secluded and private. The toilet, wood, and water were very close by and kept clean as well. Jennifer was very responsive over messaging as well and very helpful.

This is a great Hipcamp! There is so much space and a lot of privacy between campsites. Jennifer is so responsive and was so helpful answering all of our questions. The meadow was beautiful and we will definitely be coming back!!

Jennifer was absolutely fantastic ! This property is beautiful and easy to navigate ! Its very quiet and peaceful. You are not super close to the other camping sites at all so you have a good amount of privacy ! The composite toilet was very well maintained and clean ! We saw bunnies, baby chick's, and deer ! There is an electrical hookup and water spout beside the composite toilet that you have access to ! The fore pit and picnic table was nice to have as well ! We stayed on the Fern Gully site ! It was the site on the left end of the 4 sites and was awesome ! We will definitely recommend and would stay again !

Very private. Very friendly host. We were the only campers on the property and we had a wonderful time. The site is spacious and lush with flowers and trees. There was firewood conveniently available nearby under a shed for a few dollars. Bring cash for that :)

We loved the spot so much! It was very spacious and cute! Lots of firewood available for purchase and it was nice to have a bathroom nearby. The only downfall was it was a bit difficult to find without an address. It would be helpful to post which fire station it is next to. Overall, it was great!

A nice spot for a spontaneous car camping getaway. The amenities are minimal, but the picnic table, fire pit, well, and clean composting toilet are great to have. Our spot was slightly closer to neighbors than we realized, which wasn’t a problem, just an fyi that if you’re looking for more private spots, these are sort of in between. We also had a hard time finding the location via GPS, even with the additional instructions from the host. We noticed later that someone had put a pin on Google maps for one of the sites (Fern Gully), so if you type that in, you may have even better luck!

This was our first camping experience - we loved that the property felt safe, clean, and close enough to stores in case of emergency. The composting toilet was so clean and had ZERO smell - amazing. Wood bundles were readily available, and Jennifer was quick to respond to messages. My 5 year old loved roaming around the property.

Jennifer's property is beautiful and feels reasonably private. We had a great time here. Potable water, clean composting toilet, easy to find with clear signage. It's near a fire station, so you'll hear sirens a lot, but that didn't bother us. Definitely would stay here again!

It was to great to camp with our friends here. The hosts are friendly, and have a nice place with extensive veg and fruit gardens and chickens. All 4 of the camps are spacious , but don’t have much level ground. Nonetheless we used some risers to get our van and little teardrop camper level enough.
Mossy Log had a nice picnic table to accommodate all 6 of us, and it was nice to have campfires throughout our stay.
The privy was fine, and we appreciated that there was a water spigot.
