We had an amazing stay! The Bunkhouse was very nice, comfortable, and fully stocked. The view is amazing. Our daughter loved their dogs, horses, and chickens. We enjoyed exploring their property and walking down the mountain side. Wish we could have stayed longer. Marty and Sheryl we're great hosts!

The bunkhouse
We have stayed at many bed and breakfast’s but this was our first time Glamping and loved the bunkhouse. An amazing view great host’s and a well thought out comfortable layout/rooms/beds etc. We came in at night and woke up to being on top of the mountain amazing place…

First review is: AWESOME!
Marty and Sheryl's bunkhouse was absolutely wonderful and such a treasure! It is cozy and warm, despite us going in the middle of winter. There are three beds total - a queen and a set of twin bunks. There are also two sofas, and one would be large enough for an adult to sleep on. The kitchen is fully supplied, and we made a hot breakfast in the morning with fresh eggs. Waking up to see horses with the snowy mountains surrounding us was an added bonus! Already planning to come back in the summer!

We had an amazing experience and felt very private. One thing you should realize is that it is a bit of a hike straight downhill. We had multiple cololers, tents sleeping bags iand cooking utensils. My four teenage boys had to take at least two trips each Down a very steep path for about a quarter of a mile.Pack lightlyand expect to haul a lot of stuff downhill if you are in Camp number three. If you’re in Camp number one or two you don’t have to worry about it, It is car camping, but it’s right in somebody’s driveway.

Spectacular view
The campsite high above the Columbia River, with huge views in all directions, was one of the most spectacular places I've camped. We loved the space and quiet and winds.
Make sure you bring everything you need, and if tent camping, be sure to get your tent anchored well.
BTW, great cell service as you're only about 1/4 miles from the cell towers.

Loved it so much we extended our stay! Feels like a little slice of heaven. Sites 1 and 2 are nearly identical, we had plenty of space for our truck, trailer and awning. I was nervous about the forecast of hot weather but its nearly 10 degrees cooler up here and always a nice breeze. Marty and his wife are fantastic. We’ll be back!

Stayed at site #1
Stayed at site #1. The host’s residence is quite visible to the camp site, so not as private as I expected. Site #1 is really not conducive to tent camping because it’s too rocky and sloped, but would have been a great camper/trailer campsite. The views are spectacular and well worth it. Next time I’d book #3, which is much more private and conducive to tent camping, or I’d bring a trailer.
Still enjoyed the stay!

Great sites with beautiful view vie
This was my first ever hipcamp experience and it was excellent. Marty was very responsive before I booked, and he and his wife met us as we arrived. Very nice people. The view from all the sites are beautiful and, while all three sites were occupied, they are spaced far enough that there was plenty of privacy.

Campsite three was gorgeous and we had a great stay at Marty’s place! It was secluded which was really nice and the views are amazing! It gets chilly at night so prepare for some wind and cooler temps. The hike down to site three is pretty steep, so just something to keep in mind when packing as you’ll haul that up and down. We had a great experience and would definitely stay again!

Phenomenal view at sunset!
This place was perfect and has a phenomenal view! Host couple introduced themselves when we arrived and there were parties at the two other campsites, but beyond waving hello, we did not hear anyone or interact at all. It was peaceful and quiet. Campsite itself was dry, flat and clean. Good cell reception. There was a nice, clean, not-smelly outhouse down a steep path. It’s a tiny bit off the beaten path, but well worth it an overnight adventure!

Viewtastic!
Wow! What a location!
Marty is a great host and made us feel right at home, right away, for our 2 night stay. He and his wife, Shirl, greeted us on arrival driving down to see us on their quad bike as they do all their guests - very, very nice people.
We stayed on site #2 with a 35' travel trailer, no issues.
There's loads of space The drive up from Badger Mountain Road is all dirt and was a fun drive - watch out for dogs in the road about half way up - they like to chase you as you drive by :-)
Downtown Wenatchee is about a 35mins drive, take a walk along the river bank at Riverside Park. Lunch at the Riverside Pub isn't a bad shout either. Great food, beer and service.
Beautiful views all the way - that's the theme when you stay on 'Marty's Mountain'. Okay, it's not really called that, but that's what we call it.
If you are looking for solitude with stunning, stunning views and a host that looks out for you - don't delay, book today... but not before we book our return visit because we'd love to return.

What a spectacular view! That makes this place a worthwhile destination. I would note that spot #1 is tricky for pitching a tent—rocky, without any really level spot. So we ended up sleeping in the bed of our truck. The outhouse is very nice and clean, with hand sanitizer. But it is definitely a bit of a challenging hike to get there from sites 1 and 2. Steep with scree—I felt like I needed to jog down in order to avoid slipping, and then huffed and puffed on the way back up. Lovely, welcoming hosts.

What an amazing spot - I almost don't want to write a good review because I'd love to keep it a secret! Site #3 is absolutely incredible but please note that it is a very steep, somewhat long walk from where you leave your car. We are experienced backpackers but didn't pack for that type of trip, so future campers be warned - leave your heavy cooler at home! The location is also fairly exposed to wind, and the higher elevation means it's significantly colder than the Wenatchee area, so bring layers and warm sleeping bags.

A great first Hipcamp experience!
Marty and Sheryl came to greet us when we arrived in the evening. They were really kind and gave us tips about parking and exploring the property. You can’t beat the views - and even with the chilly weather we couldn’t have been happier. Property is beautiful but exposed for the 2 RV sites - great for solar but could be pretty hot in the summer. Very private - the owner residence is a good distance from the sites. Well maintained RV sites are pull-thru. Road to the property is maintained but bumpy, we were able to easily navigate with our SUV and 23’ trailer by taking it slow.

The view was great! We decided to come here because our original plans were cancelled due to COVID-19. There's excellent cell service, but we only used our phones for picture taking since the trip was meant for us to disconnect. The incline is no joke, especially if you're carrying all your gear. We're fairly young but it definitely took a toll on our knees walking up and down the hill. It would be great if there was a switchback road to help; that way anybody at any age can enjoy! Views are pretty too. The night we stayed the winds were up to 30MPH but we did okay in our 3S tent.

Best campsite in eastern WA
We rented campsites 1-3 for a group of 10 of us. We had the whole place to ourselves. The most gorgeous sunsets from the ridge. We also pitched a tent at campsite 3 which is accessed by a steep trail down, along with the pit toilet. Nicest pit toilet we've ever used. Definitely leash your dogs, we saw some coyotes at night. It's really windy on the ridgeline so bring more warm clothing than you think you need. 10/10 recommend staying here. Marty is a warm and gracious host. We can't wait to return.

Best campsite ever
A group of 10 of us rented sites 1-3. We absolutely loved our stay. We had the whole place to ourselves. The most gorgeous sunset. It gets very windy on the ridge; bring more warm clothing than you'll think you need. My friend and I pitched our tent in site 3 and it is definitely a steep incline to get down there along with the pit toilet. Nicest pit toilet I have ever used. Would not recommend small children stay here. We saw coyotes so make sure you keep your dog on a leash. 10/10 recommend staying here. We hope to return again soon.
