Wildlife abounds on this waterfront Little Spokane River Property! Enjoy the feeling of seclusion, yet you’re only 3 minutes from all the amenities of town. Located in the Wandermere area in North Spokane County, we are just 20 minutes from downtown, and less than 30 minutes to Spokane International Airport. While hanging out on our Little Spokane River property, you could encounter moose, bald eagles, beavers, minks, ducks, geese, and other water fowl, hummingbirds, bats (in the evening), deer, and a countless variety of birds and other wildlife. On the other hand, you’re just a stone’s throw from Wandermere and Kalispel Golf Courses, movie theaters, restaurants, grocery and shopping. If you’re not in the mood to go out or cook, Uber Eats and the like can deliver whatever your heart desires! Complementary River-Side amenities are available to all guests of the property on a first come first serve basis include: - Community Port-a-potty tent - picnic table and a variety of seating options - hammock - floaties for “stationary floating” (connected to anchor in river) - life jackets - picnic blankets - ice chests (ice not available on site) - Small community propane BBQ grill Amenities available at additional cost include: - 2 person kayak rental with pickup downstream - 3 or 7 speed cruiser bike rentals - Inflatable paddle board rentals with transport to/from Bear or Loon Lake I also have one concrete up to 35ft RV Pad with water hookup and basic power. And a large open field area that’s about 1/2 way between the river and house that would be perfect for a large group. This is the area closest to the river and can accommodate up to 3 tents or 2 RV’s. An open field area just a 30 second walk to the grassy river frontage. Welcome to Little Spokane Riverside Retreat Bunkhouse, a peaceful, pet-friendly getaway tucked along the tranquil Little Spokane River. Just a 3-minute walk—or an easy drive down to the grassy river area (any car can make it!), our cozy bunkhouse offers a relaxing nature escape with all the comforts of home. Sleep comfortably on a queen bed under a twin loft, with optional twin or queen air mattresses available upon request. Enjoy meals in the outdoor kitchen, complete with gas grill, gas cooktop, utensils, plates, cups, and more. Dine at the outdoor table with chairs and umbrella, or cozy up with the portable campfire under the stars. Outdoor shower and port-a-potty conveniently located right outside the Bunkhouse. Inside, you’ll find a refrigerator with freezer, microwave, and a coffee maker stocked with complimentary coffee, tea, cocoa, and popcorn. We also include free s’mores kits and pancake supplies for a fun, easy breakfast. Cozy Bunkhouse-Steps from the River
Sara’s cabin was a perfect last stop on our road trip. It was so clean, quiet, and cozy. The morning stroll through the property down to the river with the dogs was refreshing and peaceful. I wished I could have stayed longer! I would absolutely go back on any future Spokane trips.

This is an absolutely amazing spot! We loved it! It was our maiden voyage with our rv camper and we had a fabulous time. Sara was a wonderful and very welcoming host. Our dogs had a blast in the river, too!

Great stay for our overnight visit! Quiet and cozy next to the stream. Sara was fantastic and welcoming! Would stay again if doing activities in Spokane again!

We enjoyed our stay at Sara's spot. The river was peaceful and she had all the things needed to have a pleasant experience - picnic table, lawn chairs, inner tube floaters and my favorite a glider rocking bench. When booking the site we thought we could drive in and out of the place to visit relatives in Spokane. Sara's place was perfectly situated to the city however the rough and rutty road to her rv parking spot was not something we wanted to drive on every day. Fortunately we found some different solutions and Sara was very patience and accommodating to our situation. She also communicates well through hip camp texting.

Cozy Bunkhouse-Steps from the River
We truly enjoyed ourselves at The Bunk House. Stayed two nights. The amenties were on point and made it so easy to last minute plan a mini trip. We only needed food and clothes. We spent most of our days down at the river. The kids loved playing all day in the water. Floaties included. Sara is a very attentive host. Her two dog's were awesome and were great with our small baby dog. Great vibes! We will be back!!

Sara has gone beyond expectations to make her land fun-filled, clean and attractive, and outfitted for a perfect camping experience. A thoughtful communicator and animal lover, Sara took the time necessary to introduce our dogs to each other and to us. They were delightful to be around. As for the river experience, it couldn't have been better...watching people on float-downs while we anchored in a big floatie (which she provided) all afternoon. The covered fire pit was surrounded by really nice chairs and plenty of firewood was nearby. What a great place to find right on the riverbank! We'll be back! Highly recommend!

Sara was an absolutely awesome host! Kind and caring person who wanted to make sure that I had a really nice stay. Place is fantastic. Having coffee down by the river in the morning is epically tranquil. Highly recommend in every way.

We LOVED camping on Sara's land! We were right next to the river, and it was so secluded. Such a perfect spot. Sara was the perfect host, too! She spent time explaining everything we needed to know, and told us she was glad we chose her spot. Thank you, Sara!

Sarah is an amazing hostess! We loved it so much we went back the following weekend! We are so thankful she has chosen to share her property for others to have some joy as well. There are water toys available as well as hammock and other outdoor furniture.The bunkhouse is a great place! Sarah has some thoughtful amenities. The pillows and mattress were so comfortable neither one of us got up in the middle of the night as we usually do. I will vote Sarah as the super host of hip camp.

We had the best experience staying here! The owner has clearly poured so much love, thought, and effort into making this place feel cozy, peaceful, and stress-free. She went so far above and beyond to accommodate us and make sure we felt welcome — it honestly felt like staying at a friend’s hidden paradise. Every little detail made our stay special, and I’m so grateful she chooses to share this beautiful spot with others. Wishing her all the success in the world — she deserves it! We’ll absolutely be back.
