Great spot! The dogs loved the areas did need to worry about them. The river wasn’t flowing this time of the year but definitely want to go back when it is.

We enjoyed our 2 nights at the land! It was private and a great location for exploring North Cascades NP and the surrounding towns of Mazama and Winthrop. If you stay here be sure to visit the Mazama store and get a sandwich (breakfast or lunch only) and some homemade ice cream!
The camping land has a stream on one side of it, unfortunately it was dry when we stayed there. We were hoping to set up some chairs and enjoy the cool water on a hot afternoon, but we wandered into the town of Winthrop instead. What a delight! It was like stepping into the Wild West. Highly recommend!
The land does have power and water. Also a couple picnic tables and other tables for cooking, eating, etc. And a very clean portable-potty! (Confirm this with the host, I don’t think it’s there year round)

The site was good and the host was very responsive. We liked having running water and room for our dogs to roam. The Mazama store is close and very nice with lots of great food!
We did go on a hot weekend and booked it specifically for the river which was more of a small creek toward the end of August. I know that’s out of anyone’s control but it would have been nice to know, as we traveled five hours and didn’t know that’s typical for this river. Just something to keep in mind if you’re going late in the season and are expecting a river.

Great site very near the Mazama River. Invite a few friends and have the site all to yourself. There’s a covered table area, a fire pit, water and electric hook-ups and a porta potty. Easy living in the woods for campers.

Great spot, loved the views and access to the river. The ability to use the power and water was a plus for us tent campers. And our large group was pleasantly surprised to find that the table was big enough for everyone to sit together. The quiet and privacy was fantastic.

It’s an incredible spot. Loved the sites, access to the river, privacy, and proximity to everything you needed! Definitely highly highly recommend. Tracy had excellent communication and the property was beautiful. We had an amazing stay in our 20ft trailer. Easy access, everything was perfect. Thank you, Tracy!

Favorite site on long WA road trip

This was our favorite site on a 9 day WA road trip including campgrounds in National parks. The site offered seclusion , with a private riverfront. Electric and water hookups were easily accessible and worked great. The covered table gave the kids a place to stay busy painting rocks to add to the collection. Tether ball was also a big hit. Quick drive from North cascades, Winthrop and minutes from small Mazama downtown we didn’t have a chance to stop at.

We had a great time for Father's Day weekend! The location was beautiful and the river access was amazing. The guys enjoyed fly fishing and the kids loved throwing rocks into the water, playing in the sand/dirt, and we all loved having the place to ourselves. The dogs could run off leash and enjoy a swim. We will definitely be back.

We camped 3 nights with our two young boys and dog and didn't want to leave. So quiet and secluded, really felt like a peaceful place.
We even got our youngest to learn how to ride a pedal bike with no training wheels. Great memories were made, we'll be back, probably not soon enough.

We weren’t there very long since we only stayed the night to get up early for a nearby sunrise hike, however, the campsite had the best stargazing! Tracy’s instructions on how to get there were very clear. Would definitely recommend!

We loved our time! Simple but great setup, can accommodate lots of rigs, super private, awesome trails to explore, close to the Mazama store, and can’t beat being right on the river (though it was dry while we were there). The perfect spot for our dog and toddler to explore and romp! We will 100% be back with a larger group.

We had a great trip! Plenty of room for a large group! The river is very close and shallow, it is perfect for the kids to play in. We had some thunderstorms and the undercover picnic table was perfect so we didn't get wet. Tracy was a great host and answered any questions I had very quickly. We will definitely be back!

Very large campsite with private river access. My wife and I loved it, especially watching the sunset on the river. I unexpectedly had 1 bar with AT&T on my iPhone, which was sufficient for slow texting.

I ended up being the only person at this site and appreciate the amenities, but if your looking for privacy from the other campers this isn't the place to say. It setup very much like a community with a large fire pit in the middle

Very secluded site right by the water we enjoyed our time here. The water was very close and the views were nice. No one else was there when we were. It was a bit tricky to get the electricity set up but not too bad.

We had a great time. Our site was next to the river (200 ft or so) which was perfect for cooling off from the upper 90s temperatures. we absolutely loved the Mazama store and the public house across the street from the store. Make sure you follow her directions because it’s a little confusing. And GPS and really screw you up. Tracy was very helpful with all my stupid questions I had. We were the only ones there.

This spot was a gem! It was 100 degrees but there was plenty of shade and the river pools to float around in and stay cool. I will be back thank you for sharing such a cool peaceful spot to enjoy.
