Welcome to your ideal escape for couples or friends! Our charming 1926 cottage offers a comfortable and unique stay. Imagine waking to the soft light of the sunrise, then taking a peaceful stroll through the vegetable garden. You can enjoy your morning coffee or tea on the patio, and watch our peacocks and goats greet the day. Inside, the cottage features a cozy queen-size bed, a small table, a coffee bar, and a selection of board games for your enjoyment. Step outside to embrace the fresh air with outdoor games and horseshoes. As evening approaches, gather around your private campfire on the back patio, nestled at the forest's edge. Here, you can witness stunning sunsets over the Olympic Mountains and savor fresh treats from the garden. Should the weather turn, our custom-covered patio ensures your comfort. We invite you to relax and reconnect at our farm stay. You'll also find historic downtown Poulsbo and Port Gamble just minutes away, with easy access to the Hood Canal Bridge for further exploration. Traveling with a furry friend? Pups are welcome! We simply ask that you show respect for our very old resident dog. Our inclusive farm warmly welcomes all guests.This cottage sits on the plateau of Woodpecker hill. We enjoy sunrise and sunset daily. The Space for the guests is about 1/2 an acre of grass, and it is nestled on the edge of the forest. You can sleep in the cottage or set up a tent in the provided area. The space has a queen size bed and there is off the grid power provided for small appliances. Water is from the hose, direct from the well. The utilities are subscription based honey bucket just outside of the cottage. Please make yourself feel peaceful and enjoy the offerings of this sweet historic cottage and farm. We have Animals! from reptiles in the main house to a peacock and goats outside there is plenty to see. Enjoy your own patio for a tent in the forest or a place to have a nice fire. This hip camp is great for duo's and your dog!

Laughing Leaf Cottage
The cottage was so lovely and had everything we needed! It’s a beautiful property with such fun goats and peacocks. There was tea and coffee, dishes, and utensils available for use. The bed was very comfortable, and it was the perfect getaway.

Laughing Leaf Cottage
We went of for the weekend for a port gamble conference. After some research, we came across this lovely place! We absolutely looooooved the peacocks and goats! I would definitely love to visit again! The only thing I would recommend if you stay here through late fall or winter is to pack something warm to sleep in. It didn’t get a little chilly, but other than that, it was a lovely place. ♥️

Laughing Leaf Cottage
No running water but everything else! The host has this little cottage cozied up with lovely linens, beautiful plants, and a few surprises. The property and surrounding area are beautiful. Great weekend getaway with plenty of dining and shopping a short drive away. Off grid camping leveled up! Thanks for having us!

Laughing Leaf Cottage
Laughing Leaf Cottage was a 20/10! The hosts are incredibly welcoming and communicative in their messages but also very respectful of your personal privacy! The cottage itself was a beautifully decorated and curated space…felt very cozy and serene. The outside of the cottage was very private and though you couldn’t see the main house you could still see all the gorgeous gardens and the goats/peacocks. The outside area also had a cute and shaded picnic table along with a beautiful secluded small deck with a fire pit and chairs all overlooking the green ferns and forest. The area was quiet and peaceful and I will 100 percent be back. Had a wonderful time.

Laughing Leaf Cottage
we had such a nice stay here!! beautiful quiet property, comfy cozy cottage, and the sweetest hosts. we would absolutely stay again and recommend to anyone who is looking for a lowkey way to spend a few nights away from the noise, and still be near all the fun port cities. even our dog had the best time, meeting all the animals and relaxing in the grass. very peaceful :)

The Laughing Leaf was perfect for me to unwind. The cottage was cozy and cute. Loved the goats and peacock's. Beautiful landscape and Johnathon is a very friendly host. Will come back again.
