Nestled in the beautiful town of Methow, you'll have the sound, views and access to the Methow River right from our 5 acre property plus the views of nearby mountain ranges. There's local river rafting company nearby to raft the river or find a spot upriver to put in your own tube and float the river right to us. Area is flat, private and the perfect place to hideaway. Enjoy bird watching and other possible wildlife sightings too. You're pretty close to everything depending on which way you want to go. Pateros, Brewster, Chelan, Wenatchee, Twisp, Winthrop, Alta Lake State Park, other State parks, golfing, wineries, hiking, biking, skiing are just a few things and areas and even Leavenworth is about 90 minutes away. If you prefer to do nothing and just enjoy the relaxation of sitting by the river you'll find peace at our little Kountry Riverside Hideaway! Whether you want to stay a night, a few days or more we hope you love it here. Come get away and escape the hustle and bustle!

Site 1 - Back in, level, gravel, private site that looks out to the river, nice green grassy area next to you. Picnic bench and fire pit available. Water, electricity, and sewer are available, or there is a bath house close by to use. We have sprinklers currently set for 3x a day with the summer heat (early morning, afternoon, and late at night), so please do not leave items in grassy areas. We are everything to the left looking out to the river from the fence line going down the shared road. Please respect the neighbors and stay on our side of the propery even going out to the river.. Please drive slow to not kick up dust. Thank you! We have garbage bins. If you are leaving on a Tuesday or staying through a Tuesday and the garbage is full, please take it up to the top to be emptied on Wednesday morning. No, just tent camping allowed. Tents are allowed if you have an rv or trailer and used near or in site, not in grass. No

Site 2 - Pulling in forward in a RV/Motorhome you will walk out to the river view. There is water, sewer and electricity available. Bathhouse is close by to use, too. Shade from the trees nearby, and it is your own private area. Picnic bench and fire pit available. There are sprinklers set 3x a day, 9 different cycles (early morning, afternoon, and later in the evening) to keep the grassy areas nice and with the summer heat. Please don't leave items in the main grassy areas, or they'll get wet. Trailers don't work here. We are everything to the left looking out to the river from the fence line going down the shared road. We had an amazing time! Shelley was very friendly and accomidating. Definitely will book again! Highly recommend booking both spots. Its your own private oasis. Also, recommend checking out the Methow Market!

I recently stayed at this wonderful camping spot with my dogs, and it was an absolute delight. The property is clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed to ensure a relaxing and enjoyable experience for everyone. Beyond the essential amenities, the owner has gone the extra mile to make the place family-friendly and pet-friendly. There’s a play area for kids, hooks for hammocks, a dog tie-out cable, and even Starlink WiFi that worked flawlessly across the entire property. The atmosphere is incredibly peaceful and serene. One of the highlights was spending the evening at the artistically decorated beachy area by the riverbank—a truly magical experience where the calm surroundings gently soak into you. Whether you're looking to unwind, connect with nature, or enjoy quality time with loved ones (furry ones included!), this place is a gem. Highly recommended!

This was our second stay, and it’s quickly become a family favorite! The Host is incredibly kind and welcoming, and we really appreciate the thoughtful amenities like Wi-Fi and the clean bathhouse. The riverfront spot is beautiful and offers tons of fun for everyone—great for relaxing or playing by the water. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

What a place!

It was reasonably priced for full hookups and location. Alta lake is nearby which is an added bonus if the family wants a lake day. I appreciate that Shelley was so quick to respond to my questions and provided very clear details. The bathhouse was rustic but was an added bonus in my opinion. The property did get windy so be prepared to take everything down in a hurry or pay the consequences. My family is already looking forward to booking another trip for next year to Shelley’s place.

A super nice, clean and green site to hold over for a few days. The front "river & bluff " was spectacular, the full service bathhouse very cute & functional albeit I had a full service site for my motorhome (site 1) the use of the bathhouse was adder plus... The starlink wifi was great, we will most definitely utilize this campsite..Shelley is a great host a very accommodating... Thanks Shelley, Mark & Rose

My wife and i spent a few days here and really enjoyed it. We were the only ones there so had the run of the place. It was hot but we were able to enjoy sitting in the nice grassy areas in the shade and enjoy the view of the river. We would recommend this site for sure.

A beautiful spot on the river! Lots of green grass surrounding our campsite that our dogs loved laying in the shade. Quiet with the ever changing river view. Plus, the bathroom was amazing! Definitely recommend - I would recommend reserving both spots to have the place to yourselves like we were lucky enough to.

We had a wonderful trip at this property! We booked both sites, and I'm glad we did. By having the whole property it totally made it feel like an escape. Plenty of room to navigate and park a 25' travel trailer onto ground that didn't require any leveling. Full hook ups are legit, but bring some extra sewer hose to get to the dump outs while parked. Or forget the sewer house and just use the fully equipped bath house! Very very cool to have that amenity. It was absurdly hot when we visited, but we still enjoyed ourselves/survived because of the multitude of shade options. And the RIVER!! You are right on it, with a serious amount of frontage. By the campsites there are comfortable grass areas for viewing, and further down you'll find the sandy beach that is as dreamy as the photos make it look. The simple campfire on the beach was an absolute highlight. Highly recommend these sites as well as the very friendly and communicative hosts!!

Relaxing Retreat

Shelley’s land was beautiful, relaxing and very peaceful! There was a sitting area next to the river which was great to enjoy coffee in the morning, watch our dog play in the river and wave at the rafters going by. There was also a little beach area down a little further which we would have loved to take an opportunity to use but the river was a little faster at this spot. We weren’t sure how daring our 1 year old dog would be. The bathhouse was super clean and Shelley was so easy to work with. Definitely, would come back!

Great spot along the river! Shelley provided helpful information about the property upon arrival. We booked site #1, but switched to site #2 once we learned it was open during our stay. Shelley was very accommodating to this request which was appreciated. The on-site bathroom was also great and the wifi was an added bonus. We will definitely consider camping here again!

Quiet, clean and private. This place is amazing. We had plenty of room with great weather to enjoy the sun on the banks of the river. Would recommend this place and would definitely stay here again.

Perfect riverside camping retreat!

My husband and our good friends rented both sites at Shelley’s property for a weekend camping trip together to close out the summer. The site is perfectly perched along the river so you can hear the peaceful running water at all times. Easy access, level spots with full hookups with a bath house if you prefer to use their facilities. We greatly enjoyed staying here and will definitely return in the future!

Kountry Riverview is a gem! We were so happy we found this beautiful little spot on the Methow River. Shelley is a great host, responded immediately to communication and has set up her property as a fully functional rv site. Only two RV sites, we had #1 which allowed us to back in and have a view of the river. We floated and fished in the river and enjoyed sitting overlooking as the sun went down. Bathroom facilities are clean and fully stocked and actually cute. We would absolutely recommend and we will be back!! Thank you Shelley for our lovely stay.

This campsite is an absolute gem! We stayed on this private, beautiful 5-acre plot right on the river, which made for an incredible experience. The convenience of the bathhouse and WiFi added a touch of comfort to our wilderness adventure. We swam in the river, floated back to the campsite from a great spot about a mile upstream, and even enjoyed some thrilling cliff jumping nearby. The owners of the site were very kind and responsive. This was one of the best family camping trips we’ve done, filled with unforgettable memories! While it does get hot and there are plenty of bugs, that's just part of the authentic wilderness experience. Highly recommend!

We loved camping with our RV at the Riverside camp site 1. Beautiful area, very clean, great communication with the host, and the grounds were kept up very well. The river was amazing on a hot weekend with plenty of places to sit in front of the river or at the picnic table at our camp site.

This site by the river is awesome! The cute little bathhouse has all the comforts of home: running water, shower and flush toilet. A quiet site even though close to the highway with some trees. The two sites have full hookups and there is also Wi-Fi!

We had a great time! Communication was a breeze and the host let us know when a fire ban was enacted. We loved putting in upriver and floating down to the campsite! We will definitely be back!

The site and the bath house accommodations were clean /tidy, we enjoy yard games while on the road and there were several nice grassy areas to enjoy them in. Shelley was very responsive to questions and enjoyable to correspond with. We had pretty spotty cell service even with the Wi-Fi but beyond that it was a enjoyable stay.

This site was perfect for our family. We have a special needs son and big campsites with lots of people cause a lot of unneeded chaos. This smaller site with close amenities is really good for new campers

Kountry Riverside Hideaway
Without reservation our stay at Shelley's Kountry Riverside retreat was the most relaxing and beautiful camp we have ever stayed in. The beautifully maintained sites are close to a lovely river, providing peaceful sounds and excellent fly fishing! I would highly recommend the Kountry Riverside as a fantastic place to stay and we will definitely be back.

Great spot by the river . Nice and quiet. The little bath house was a nice addition. Shower was much appreciated after a hot day. The host was on site when we got there. Friendly and helpful. Wi-Fi was only usable when close to the bath house but allowed us to text while out of cell range. A big plus. Would stay again.

Kountry Riverside Hideaway
Kountry Riverside Hideaway is absolutely perfect if you’re looking for a private sandy beach (with a fire pit), lots of grassy lawn for dogs and kids to roam free, campsites just footsteps away from a peaceful river, and tons of useful amenities (shower, toilet, power, water and sewage). We made a short drive to Alta Lake State Park for swimming and ice cream. We will be making this a regular spot for our family! Best camping trip ever!

Kountry Riverside Hideaway
We were lucky enough to camp here for 4 nights with great friends. The River front property is beautiful and private. We had two families that consisted of 4 adults, 3 kids, and 2 dogs. Everybody loved it!! There’s a nice little beach that was perfect for daytime relaxation, fun in the sand for kids, and evening fires for s’mores etc. There are a lot of trees which is great for shade during hot weather too. No complaints about this wonderful spot. We cannot wait to return!
