Gorgeous Views!
My husband and I just got back from camping on Kellie’s land. we loved it! Exactly as described. We used our Outback to drive to site and drop off our gear, then backpacked our way out a few days later.

We had a lovely time camping this weekend at the Kulshan site! Kellie and Christian were welcoming and gracious hosts, and the site was very private. Definitely a little hike up the hill to the site, which was well described on the site listing. Great base camp for exploration of the Methow Valley! We're looking forward to coming back.

Another wonderful trip out to Kellie's place ... nothing to hear but wind, a few birds, and a bit of rain.
The valley few site is quite private and nice, with room for several people. If it might rain, just bring your flies, youll be fine. The tent site is well located, youll have no wet in your tent, and reading listening to a light rain on the fly cozied up in a sleeping bag after dinner is quite nice. Recommended spot!

Great location! Quiet, open feeling, and the smell of sage brush! Watch extra close for the signs and screen shot the directions as there is delightfully no cell service on the property.

Great place if you like a remote setting. Very peaceful with excellent views of rolling hills. No humans in site in any direction other than the hosts home a couple hundred yards away. Host is very responsive and let us borrow a ladder, super helpful to get to our rooftop tent when ours was broken. Star gazing here is amazing as well.

"Klickitat" Trailer Site
Quiet, secluded spot with amazing views and accommodating hosts. Loved relaxing around the fire pit and even got to enjoy the wildflowers on the hillsides. Evidence of critters around the barn, but didn’t bother us. Know that this spot is four miles up a well-maintained but gravel/dirt road. Would recommend!

Beautiful and secluded!
This place is beautiful and the privacy is so nice!
It is a little hike up a hill to the site so keep that in mind if you pack anything too heavy.
Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful, & Convenient
This was a great stay! My goal was to get in to Pipestone Canyon and the site was just about a 1.5 mile walk down the road from the trail. Really nice place that felt very safe as it's on private property and the owner was very friendly and helpful. Note that the site is designed to be be rustic (no water or electricity at the site itself) but that's just what I was looking for. There are only 3 site on the property so you feel like you're out there on your own. Very quiet and peaceful, I would describe it as "roughing-it lite" in that you feel like you're out in the wild, but only a 5 minute hike from your car. Loved it and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a getaway that's not afraid to get a little dirt on their boots.

Exceptional
Nothing but the sound of wind, a few birds, and maybe a cow in the distance, Loowit is situated essentially in a bed of of Eastern Wah lavender and sage. Climb a small hill in the morning to take your camp-brewed coffee, and relish that pot of chili you make in the evening as you look forward to the clear night sky and stars.
Christian and Kellie provide an excellent camp that is far enough up unpaved roads to get you away from everything without you needing to go a full day on a Forest Service road.
Bonus points if you bring a 4x, Loowit is attainable if you have skill and confidence, otherwise a short hike to the best rest.
Leave the rain fly at home and let the night breeze blow through the tent ....

We had a GREAT experience at Klickitat trailer site. SUPER helpful and wonderful hosts. The trailer sites are near a barn and we had no problem getting 2 13's trailers (Scamps) and a tent into the site. Has a pit toilet and water.
Amazing views and just a few minutes from Twisp!
