This camp is a great jumping off point in a central location is in a tree lot, all ready for all types of vehicles and/or tents. I should note, that itā€™s in a neighborhood with a home 50 feet from the camping spot. Please see pictures! Winthrop Woods RV Site
Winthrop Woods was nice and quiet. We had some initial difficulty finding the site as Google Maps was sending us in the opposite direction. The camp is in a small neighborhood and very close to a house, which limits the privacy factor. However, we never saw anyone at the house and again, the neighborhood was quiet. Winthrop Woods is near the Chewuch River, but does not have access which is too bad.

Camping was as advertised, nice lot of land to post up a tent! Grateful to have been able to stay at Cassandraā€™s place, she was a great hostess!

Winthrop Woods RV Site
This is a great place to camp super close to town! Rustic, and host house is close by, but the property feels private and trees provide great shade. Very quiet, with just a few home construction rigs during the day. Deer are everywhere and was fun to see them in the early morning. Lots of room to walk the dogs and hookups were convenient. Worked out great for our first trip to the area!

This was the perfect camp. Lots of space to park as you'd like. Level with a gravel base, amongst a Grove of pine trees. We parked to the side of the home, so we never were interrupted by the home owner. We always felt safe.We did get a nice welcome from Cassandra upon arrival . We'd camp here again!

Winthrop Woods RV Site
Our site was a beautiful, peaceful spot, with lots of wildlife and we enjoyed a nice walk in the neighborhood bordering the river.

Pictures of the property are misleading . The acupated House on the property less than 50 feet away from Rv site . I can see people walking in the living room from Rv area . You are in the neighborhood no woods , yes few trees . One side of the property is facing heavy construction equipment with excavators . RV Site is not level. Tree overhangs one of the RV site that makes its hard to get into to the site . Not as advertised.
