Farm fresh oysters available during your stay! You don't want to miss this truly unique location! Our sites sit just up the hill (0.4 miles) from US 101 and the beautiful shores of the Hood Canal, with semi-obstructed views of the water. I own and run Lilliwaup Oyster Farm just down the hill and across the 101 - you'll pass the workshop and processing building on your drive up to the sites. Surrounded by old growth trees, wildflowers, and the serene soundscape of the rushing creek straight from the springs of the Olympic Mountains, come rest and reconnect with yourself, your crew, and the elements. STEEP, WINDING GRADES: This is a winding, mountain hillside - not ideal for longer length rigs. Most of the hillside is 6% grade, and the last few hundred yards up are at a 10%+ grade. Site #2 includes full RV hookups: water, 50 amp electric + sewer. Site #4 includes partial RV hookups: water + 30 amp electric. All sites have access to the onsite unisex restroom. We are close to many Hood Canal must see's + must do's. Copy/paste this link into your browser to get the full scope of what's nearby with our interactive map! Hilltop Campsite #4 | Tent Terrace!
4th of July camping trip
Jim’s space was beyond wonderful! The privacy we were seeking while being surrounded by nature. We slept to the wonderful sound of the creek. It had everything we needed. Austin was there to help during our stay and we appreciated his kind hospitality. Wish we were closer to go back sooner.

Peaceful creek sounds
We really enjoyed camping here! The sounds from the creek nearby were so nice! Conveniently close to a lot of hiking trails and small local shops and restaurants too.

Great Site and Well Treed
Great site near to the Hood Canal and north of Lilliwaup. Just up the hill from the highway, but far enough to barely hear it and feel really away. Campground host Austin was great. Site was very clean, quite (a bit of stream noise in the background), amongst the trees so shade in the evening and the morning, but blue sky overhead. Sanican was spotless and well stocked with TP and hand sanitizer. Had a travel trailer pulled by a pickup and another SUV with a RTT and plenty of room. Firewood and nice fire pit/grate was an added bonus. Can't go wrong if you need this location. Sadly it was too hot for us to try the Lilliwaup Oyster's, but we dined at Hamma Hamma instead. Next time hopefully we can try the oysters too.

Camping and Fresh Oysters
We recently enjoyed a delightful two-night stay at Hilltop campsite #4 and it was truly a memorable experience. Nestled deep in the woods, the campsite offered a perfect blend of tranquility and comfort. Jim, who kindly checked in on us and ensured we had everything we needed for the night. His hospitality set a positive tone for our stay. The highlight of our trip was undoubtedly the farm-fresh oysters available during our stay. They were incredibly fresh and delicious, adding a unique culinary delight to our camping adventure. The campsite itself is wonderfully secluded, providing a sense of privacy and immersion in nature that is hard to find elsewhere. Surrounded by trees and far from neighbors, we truly felt like we had escaped into the wilderness. Another pleasant surprise was the cleanliness of the honey bucket. It was impeccably maintained throughout our stay, reflecting the campsite's commitment to hygiene and comfort. Overall, our experience at Hilltop campsite #4 was nothing short of fantastic. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat with fresh oysters and a genuine camping experience, this hidden gem is not to be missed. We can't wait to return and explore more of what this unique location has to offer.

Hilltop Campsite #4 | Tent Terrace!
Really nice host and a great location. We were asked if we wanted some oysters at the campsite. Had a tent camp set up and appreciated the electrical hookup to charge our cell phones, the pristine port-a potty, and comfy- level camping spot.

Campfire and Oysters
Jim was an extremely friendly and personable host. The campsite itself is immaculately clean as it's very new. You can even purchase oysters at a more than reasonable price. Would definitely camp here again!
