Hollyhock Farm Forest Retreat #1
The cozy campsite was really comfortable, the view over the fields at Hollyhock farm, with morning fog lifting into the sunrise. Phil was also a great host and toilet was cleaned each day. Thank you!

The host was friendly and the concept for the site is neat. This particular spot is very bare bones for the cost. Once your vehicle is parked, you have very little room to get around to where the picnic table and fire pit are, could use some redesign to make it feel more complete. The nature trail is a neat feature but the boardwalk is a little precarious especially after some rain. The boards are slick and can wobble a little.

We loved tent camping here at the Cozy Camp location! Pulling in, it was extremely easy to find, navigate and unload our gear. Everything was very clean and setup ready for us. There were also directions and signage everywhere.
The compost outhouse was extremely clean and had fun facts about compost! We had a very private area - you didnt hear others. Although you will hear the farm animals 24/7. This was a huge bonus for us, because we absolutely loved hearing the rooster!
Could not have had a better experience. Thanks and will definitely be back!

This was a great spot for a quick weekend trip from Seattle! The site was very private and secluded. The animals on the farm can definitely be chatty, but we quickly got used to it. Would recommend!

Great site that felt very private and safe. A little walk to the tent sites so just be prepared to carry your things in but again very short walk just a couple minutes up the trail. The tent pad was super useful and when we went there were blackberries everywhere-yum! Very nice stay would stay again!

Would definitely recommend staying here! The cozy camp was super convenient from Seattle and easy to drive up, private, and close to the nature trail they built on the property - which was a beautiful walk! There are animals (ducks and chickens) right down from the campsite which we thought was fun but something to consider if you want it really quiet. A beautiful spot.

My kiddo and I had a wonderful time at our Hollyhock Farm! The campsite was lovely and felt very private, and the raised platform was a wonderful touch (there's nothing like pitching a tent on level ground!). We'll definitely be coming back.

Great spot on the fringes of Redmond. Loved the deck. We were able to post up a two person tent a couple of camping chairs and a table and stove and felt super comfy all weekend long. Didn’t glimpse the dogs though we were hopeful we’d see them. A great place to post up if you’re in the East Seattle area.

We had a wonderful stay at Cozy Camp! It was peaceful and private; we only heard other campers when they were at the parking area. While this didn't bother us, the farm animals were active during our stay so there was a bit of noise so keep that in mind when booking your stay. The compost toilet and hand pump were well maintained and convenient. The driveway was a bit overgrown with blackberry bushes, I'd recommend bringing a vehicle that can take a few light scratches. Overall it was a great stay and we would love to stay again!

An excellent first Hipcamp Experience! Cozy Camp was above Hollyhock Farm, providing a peaceful view of the farmscape below, especially at sunrise and sunset. Farm sounds, including birds and a babbling creek made it even better. Very little road noise and a nearby, well kept compost toilet and hand pump made it easy to stay at this camp. The nature trail was cool to walk as well. Phil was a great host and even showed us around his farm! Bottom line, would recommend, would stay again. The only drawback - mosquitoes - were out of anyone’s control, and the host kindly provided mosquito repellent bracelets free of charge. Driveway was easy to back in and out of, with no turn around, as described.

Hollyhock Farm Forest Retreat #1
This was a beautiful site and perfect for our needs. It was quiet, shaded, peaceful, and comfortable. With my AFOs, the trail up to the site was a little difficult--in slightly steeper spots and narrow--but not bad (and not a problem for any fully able-bodied visitors, just something to note with a disability).
We would totally stay here again!

This was in a great location close to the action but far enough away to feel that you're really camping. We didn't need to use any of the amenities other than the fire pit, but we'll certainly be back

Just as described! Easy check-in, check-out process. Really appreciated the platform, composting toilets had no smell whatsoever (even on 95 degree days), great location, and loved the farm stand!

Cozy camp was a nice break. Secluded, private, and beautiful. No turn around for a 17’ van, but it was simple to back out of camp. On the bright side, I was able to have a fire and was pleasantly surprised when a family of deer walked right passed me in the morning. Would definitely recommend.

I stayed in campsite #1, which was very private and carefully nestled into woods and berry bushes. I arrived in the pouring rain and was delighted to find that the screen house currently available at Costco fit perfectly on the platform provided. The bird sounds and walking trail made this stay very special.

Beautiful property and so close to eastside Seattle! I loved watching the sunset over the farm, hearing frogs, owls, coyotes, and the ducks/geese. The camping section of the property is heavily forested and feels very secluded like you’re in a state park.

Phil had an outdoor bulletin board with our name for the spot reserved with our dates. We have had mix-ups at other Hipcamp stays so this was a nice add. Also we were running a bit late on our checkout and Phil graciously gave us some extra time. We were there for an evening of thunderstorms and still had a blast. Beautiful place.

Phil’s space was everything we had hoped for; quiet, calm and secluded. The creature comforts are on hand for anyone new to camping, and are a nice touch for the seasoned camper.
We wandered the trail loop that has been cleared, and found some kindling to start our fire in the fire pit left at our site. There was plenty of room and the accompanying picnic bench allowed us to lay out our dinner and breakfast spreads.
The space was super easy to find, with the directions being very helpful. The toilet was clean and even had the nice touch of mosquito bands, big spray and hand sanitizer.
Water was a few pumps away, which was another unique part of the stay.
Don’t forget to drop in to the farm shop on WEEKENDS. Meat, plants, seasonal veggies and eggs all on hand.

My daughter and I were looking for a short camping stint close to Seattle, and not knowing if it was going to rain, we decided to check out this tiny cabin. It is truly wonderful! Phil did an amazing job putting this gem together.
You have everything you need and are out of the rain. The nature trail is well worth the hike. We will definitely come back.
