Langley, Washington ~ on the south end of Whidbey Island, sits a waterfront village that enjoys a small-town atmosphere within an hour’s journey (including the car ferry trip) from urban Seattle. This one-square-mile town’s signature characteristics include a quaint, yet trend-setting downtown with stunning gardens, seasonal tourism and energy from visitors, a deep pool of resident artists and performers, artisans in nearly every medium, farmers, community involvement in local government, festivals, beaches, forests, pocket parks, a 250-seat performing arts center that presents local as well as world-class entertainment, a vibrant marina, and an eclectic food scene–with a population of approximately 1,050. (stated beautifully on its website)
Just 6 short miles from this village… sits a different kind of village…a village for healing. Its sits atop a hill, up a dirt road where you will find a red, white, and blue farmhouse. A place where grief is honored… no matter where you are in the process, or how much time has passed.
A space that we have been creating since my husband left his earthly body. A space to feel all the feels, a space of stillness, a space of peace. A space to heal what was broken. A space to dream a new dream. That dream for me is to build a sanctuary of love, acceptance, and healing!... A space for festivals, retreats, and classes of all modalities of healing.
The first step in making that dream come true is opening up our property for all to enjoy and infuse the land with energy of happiness and love! Because who doesn’t love camping! 😊 There will be several setups (for extra fee) for glam-ping… show up with food and whatever else you might want... and your lodging will be waiting for you, with crackling fire started if you like…. Think camping without the set-up OR tear down! (See Pictures)
There will also be several DRY CAMPING spots for RV’s/Trailers/Tiny house to pull in and go play. These will not have any hooks up. We will have a port a potty on property for campers use.
Campers will have access to a private beach w/boat launch. Feel free to bring small boats or kayaks – Great place to go fishing, crabbing or just enjoy a day on the water. The beach is sandy and full of treasures!
I look forward to having you at our little slice of heaven! This is our home, so let me introduce the characters of Foxglove Acres - Whidbey Island, as you will see us milling about with our daily lives.
