There is a one-room cabin with an electric wood stove for the colder months, a deck with table and chairs to enjoy the peaceful area, and a fire pit next to the cabin (firewood provided). Trails are available to explore, and the bathroom is located in the owners garage approximately 200' from the cabin and includes a shower, toilet, sink, and heater. The owners have an older dog named Piper that is a Nova Scotia Retriever. There is also a nice spot near the cabin if you'd like to pitch a tent. The Yoked Farmhouse Brewery is within walking distance (across the street and about half a block away), and Horseshoe Lake is nearby. There is also the Floatation Device for food/drinks, Easy Thai Easy Go and Taco Truck nearby as well as the Bridgeway Market. If you go one exit down towards Gig Harbor you will find Target, Safeway, Costco and more food options if you want.Peaceful one room cabin nestled in old growth forest. Outside, the cabin has a spacious deck with a table and chairs to enjoy the views of the surrounding forest. There is a picnic table and a fire pit with firewood available near the cabin. There are multiple trails winding around the cabin for leisurely strolls. Bathroom access is approximately 200' from the cabin in the owners garage (key pad code will be provided).

Can't wait to go back! Nice hosts and everything I wanted for a short stay. From Piper the dog, to the well-stocked firepit, to freshly ground coffee, to the inviting cozy cabin.. a wonderful value.

We loved staying here! Bill and Cathy were so welcoming and wonderful hosts. We loved exploring all of the trails in the woods, and even befriended a cat! :) The cabin was perfect and adorable, had everything we needed.

Lovely spot in the country
Cathy and Bill are exceptional hosts! The cabin is so cute and cozy and the bathroom was super clean and conveniently located. The fire pit was nice and big and they were kind enough to provide us with a bunch of fire wood. There is a great swimming spot down the road at Horseshoe Lake and a cute little farmhouse brewery across the street. I highly recommend this spot.
