Hawthorn and Alexia + her family are a dream come true for us. We held a rehearsal and our wedding ceremony with a catered dinner in the woods on this property. It couldn’t have gone better. Not only because of the accommodations from Alexia and the others helping with the place but the spot itself is pure magic. When we visited, we knew this was the place for our wedding. It’s peaceful, beyond beautiful, and maintained by the most lovely people. We can’t wait to come back to camp in the spot we said “I do.”

Our hosts were very sweet and we felt safe in the parking area. That said, the pictures made the farm feel ethereal whereas the reality was a working farm. I was disappointed the outhouses had mouse eaten toilet paper and there were a lot of mosquito larva in the rain water collection bucket used for hand-washing water. The animals were sweet though and I’d imagine others would enjoy that aspect. Just expensive at $60+ (not including taxes and fees) for the service provided.

I truly don’t have the words for how incredible it was to be at Hawthorn Farms this past weekend. We held our rehearsal and then our wedding ceremony there followed by one of the most beautiful dinners we had ever experienced. They gave us full creative freedom with the space and we just could not be more at peace with that decision. Even better was the fact that it’s not just a “venue” for us but now can be a place we happily return to camp (a favorite thing to do of ours). Thank you will never, EVER be enough for the memories you allowed us to make here. Connecting with you about a year ago was one of the best decisions we’ve made.

We adore Hawthorn Farm! A visit to this beautiful place has become an annual tradition. The land is beautiful, the people friendly, and the animals cute as buttons. I always return smelling like a campfire and wonderfully refreshed.

We LOVED staying here! Jenn was so sweet and showed us around her beautiful property. She has a gorgeous camping area, with trails and creeks to explore. She also had a cozy little outdoor shower, a place for us to wash dishes, and a little outhouse. There was plenty of firewood provided, and the cutest farm animals. We felt very safe and welcomed, and got the best sleep ever. Her property is so magical, we would love to stay here again!

As in years past, our time at the farm and in the forest was so deeply special! The farm tour brought such joy to the kids, and to the adults as well. Alexia is always a warm and welcoming host. The forest was serene and magical. Hawthorn Farm is a true gem!

This is a beautiful spot that we’ve visited a few times now. It’s a wonderful mix of farm life with a spacious and magical wooded camping area. We’re very lucky to have this spot so close to the city. My teenage kids love it here.

Such a cute little farm and forest they have. You could tell the amount of energy and effort that was put into this place. The forest with the story telling hurt was so magical. It feels like you’re in Narnia. We met both Alexia and her husband, super nice people. If we’re ever passing through this area I would definitely stay here again and leave more time to hang out in the forest.

What a magical experience to camp out and stay at Hawthorne Farm. We came from Boise to go to a concert in Woodinville and was lucky to find this place. We just knew we wanted to camp out instead of a hotel. Sooo grateful we did. Our hostess Jenny was an absolute delight. The farm and woods are so peaceful and so was Jenny. She was so kind and gave us a tour of the farm. We got to watch her feed the horses, donkeys, goats, chickens and the amazing ducks. All so unexpected and wonderful. We also got to buy their amazing chicken and duck eggs.
There are not enough words to describe the forest where we camped. Let’s just say if fairies and lightning bugs showed up it wouldn’t have been a surprise. Incredibly beautiful forest and maintained beautifully. The most peaceful place I have ever camped.
We can’t wait to book again and come visit Farm, Forest, Happy Place and of course Jenny.

We loved camping at this place - it was our first time camping with our little kids and Alexia was amazing and incredibly helpful! The farm tour the next morning was cherry on top!

The farm was such an incredible place to stay! We had a small bachelorette gathering here and it was great -- we set up some decorations and enjoyed a fire in the gazebo/yurt area. We had room for two big tents and one smaller one, and loved the access to the shower and water. The animals are just the sweetest. Would highly recommend the stay!

Alexia's woods are gorgeous and we had a fantastic first camping trip with our PEPS group! It is so nice to have the place to yourself (especially if you are self-conscious about waking anyone up with hungry babies in the middle of the night), and it stayed quite pleasant in the woods even when it was hot out in the fields during the day. There were a few mosquitoes but nothing like other trips we have taken in National Forest land. No need to deal with food scraps as the chickens and ducks over on the farm will take care of anything you don't want to eat! We highly recommend! Take the farm tour as well, playing with the softest tiny baby bunnies is not to be missed.

This was a great spot for a short and sweet weekend. The host was easy to communicate with and upon our arrival, gave a tour of the property. There was enough space for three tents and the yurt was a great extra. It wasn't too far of a walk from the car to the site and the wagons were useful. Having ample firewood, a clean restroom and friendly animals to say hello to made for a fun weekend.

We loved our stay at the farm. The forest where we camped was beautiful and peaceful. We really enjoyed the farm tour, and our 3 year old daughter loved the farm animals. Alexia was so kind, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Highly recommend, especially with kids!

What a lovely place. Perfect for our first camping trip with our 1 year old. Great balance of feeling in the woods while being close to water and home. Alexia was very accommodating when our schedule was erratic. So glad we stayed here and hope we can manage more than a single night in the future.

Like the first, our second stay at Hawthorn Farm was absolutely wonderful. The forest and yurt area is pristine and well-maintained. We pitched our tent, hung some hammocks, and let our city-dwelling souls rest & recover in the evergreen forest. LOVE that we got the whole area to ourselves. The land is clearly imbued with love, respect, and gratitude.
Our 3 young kids were enraptured by the loveable farm animals and spent most of their time feeding chickens, petting baby goats, hunting for duck eggs, and gazing longingly at the ponies. Alexia is a down-to-earth, thoughtful, kind, and generous spirit. We will definitely be back soon!

Our first family camping trip was awesome at Alexia’s farm! We had a wonderful trip connecting with nature in a beautiful serene setting with fun trails and a creek for our young children to explore. She is a lovely host and we appreciate the opportunity to be at this amazing place.
