We stayed at this property for several nights. The owners are very nice and responsive. The property is beautifully maintained and the alpacas and other animals are fun to see. We added the salted caramel butter bars to our stay. Oh man, soooo yummy! We highly recommend those!

We booked two sites for three families with kids and had a wonderful experience. Touring the farm was a highlight — the children loved seeing the adorable animals, including alpacas, llamas, ducks, chickens, and goats. The host was very welcoming, allowing us to prepare food for the alpacas and llamas while explaining their unique personalities.
We watched the chickens roaming in their custom trunnel and check on their eggs, fed snacks to the goats, and observed the ducks waddling around their home. There were also bunnies and quails, and we purchased some fresh chicken and quail eggs for the kids to enjoy.
Our campsite was right next to the alpaca and llama enclosure, which made for a fun and engaging setting. The area was open and spacious—perfect for kids to run around—though tent campers should note that there’s limited shade and privacy.
The alpacas and lamas even seemed amused watching the kids play with water balls and blasters! Nearby trails offer more to explore, and the surrounding neighborhood is very quiet. We also spotted hot air balloons in the sky, which added to the charm.
Each site had a water hookup, electricity, and 1 access to a clean portable toilet near the farm. Overall, it was a memorable and enjoyable stay for everyone.

Aside from the pure beauty of the Alpacas themselves, what stood out to me by far was the kindness and flexibility of the hosts. Their graciousness and understanding went well above anything that one commonly finds anymore.
The property is well kept, quiet, peaceful and more than pleasant. While I wasn't able to attend any of the offered attractions this time, I will definitely be back for another stay and allow time for some of their offered perks.

This was such a fun trip for my wife, our dog and I to start our camping season off right. I got to walk an Alpaca! We met all of the animals on the farm, which included feedings and seeing their personalities. Kandi and Mark even allowed us to let our dog run off leash in one of the empty pastures to get his energy out. He loved all the new smells and we loved all the treats from right there. Thank you for opening your farm to hipcamp users like us for something unique.

This is a great camping spot: beautiful, roomy with friendly, hospitable hosts. We had a wonderful time there. We were there for 6 nights in our 29ft travel trailer. Our grandchildren came to visits and got to meet the alpacas, sheep and chickens and feed carrots to those that eat them- they had a fun time!! Kandi and Mark were extremely helpful throughout our stay.
One note- if you’re coming in a longer rig, coming up the street to turn onto their property from the South has much more space to make the turn than from the North.

We had a wonderful time at the alpaca farm with my kids! Mark and Candy’s property is absolutely beautiful, and the alpacas—especially Skippy—were hilarious. It was the perfect little staycation during spring break, and it truly felt like we were disconnected from everything.
We also picked up some of their homemade goodies—the chocolate chip cookies were devoured by my kids in no time, and the sourdough bread and fresh farm eggs were absolutely A+. I couldn't recommend this spot enough, and I’d gladly return in the future.

My family absolutely loved camping out on Kandi & Marks farm! They were so friendly, accommodating, and great with my 2 young children. All of the animals on the farm were great and Levi the goat is so friendly and sweet we all agreed that we will have to come back to see him! We had fresh chicken, duck, quail, and goose eggs and fresh baked sourdough bread which was such a treat!

Kandi and Mark were great hosts! We enjoyed the farm tour and they offered our kids to help feed the animals in the morning. They were also great when we discovered a nail in our tire just before leaving, requiring us to run to a tire shop to get it fixed, delaying our departure. They were very understandable and easy to work with. We would highly recommend staying here and would come back again.

Mark and Kandi are wonderful hosts! Right from the start, they welcomed us with fresh sourdough and carrots for feeding their friendly alpacas and llamas. The farm is peaceful, with stunning views and a variety of animals like sheep, chickens, and goats. Kandi even shared some great gardening tips and sent us home with fresh tomatoes and a giant spaghetti squash. Everything was clean and convenient, making our stay both comfortable and delightful. If you’re looking for a charming farm experience with fantastic hosts, this is the place to be. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

The camp at Kandi’s alpaca farm was amazing! We spent a lot of time in Tacoma and Seattle which was close to the farm. Lovely camping in a beautiful rural setting, but still close to the city.

An Unexpected Experience! Thank you
Kandi and Mark were excellent hosts! They were very accommodating and considerate of your privacy. My grown daughters, 34 & 35, and I attended a concert at the White River amphitheater. We chose this Hipcamp because of its location to the venue, and their offering of Uber rides to and from the venue.
We opted for the farm AND garden tour. We had so much fun interacting with the alpacas, llamas, and the goats/sheep! We also got to visit their chickens, ducks, geese, quails, and their lone bunny, Mr. Pickles. All of the animals had cute names!💗 We could not stop laughing over some of their personalities…Betsy, Skippy & Levi to name a few. 😂 One of their cats Phoebe, introduced herself in my camper truck and on top of my daughter’s tent late in the evening after our concert.
I was like a kid in a candy store in their garden! It was so plentiful and the flowers, so beautiful! Kandi took time to walk through the whole garden and teach me about the different types of plants and species and her experience with them. She was so generous to give me seeds to a few plants I had interest in and gave us zucchinis and pattypan squashes! I had never heard or seen pattypan squash before. They’re so interesting and I can’t wait to eat them!
We bought a dozen eggs and Kandi’s deliciously chewy sourdough bread…YUM! We also bought a few items from their farm store. So many cute handmade items!
I’ve reached the 1500 max words for a review. If you’re in the area, stay here, you’ll love it!

Loved the grassy area and our truck & roof top tent were perfect!! Waking up to Alpacas & sheep & goats & the neighbor kitty was an added bonus!! Kandi and her husband were great hosts and helped where needed. Loved the little shop to purchase finished goods from her farm animals! Need to come back for the classes! Portapotty was clean and adequate if you aren’t self contained.

This was such a magical weekend… Kandi, Mark and family were wonderful hosts to my eight year old daughter and I who had a blast on this close to home adventure: visiting with a delightful menagerie of well cared for farm animals, exploring gorgeous vegetable gardens, laughing over s’mores toasted on the fire pits and cooking up breakfast with farm fresh eggs we helped harvest from the broods onsite. Nearby Flaming Geyser State Park, Enumclaw farmer’s market and a convenience store in Black Diamond laden with candy were fun, and we loved returning to our ample site to watch hot air balloons overhead before bedtime. Although we didn’t use all the amenities available to RV drivers, the EV-friendly hookups and water onsite to wash dishes were a plus. My daughter reports that I am a ‘fantastic mom’ for planning this adventure and she ‘can’t wait to spend more quality time with me at the farm’. Needless to say we’re looking forward to a return trip!

Kandi and Mark are great hosts. When we pulled in, we were immediately greeted and even invited for a farm tour that was about to happen. We learned some interesting facts about alpacas, lamas, ducks, chickens, geese, goats, and sheep. Site was pretty leveled and as promised, we had electrical and water hookups for our trailer.

We had fun camping at the Alpaca Farm. The animals are cute, the farm tour was fun and the owners were really kind and helpful. Close to Enumclaw, Nolte, Flaming Geyser & Kanaskat-Palmer State Parks, local blueberry and strawberry farms.

Kandi was an incredible host for our tent camping experience! She was flexible and accommodating about fitting in the add on experiences we got (the wool painting is an amazing value and great for all skill levels. I highly recommend it! The other experiences we got were wonderful too!). Additionally, as a place to stay while seeing a concert at Whiteriver Amphitheater, it was all I could ask for (including the unadvertised available shuttle service for a reasonable cost). We took her sourdough bread and cookies to a family gathering right afterward and everyone was very impressed with those as well! We talked about our time there to everyone at the gathering (like a broken record. Lol) and are hoping to bring some of them there in the future. :)

This is a great spot! Hosts are very welcoming and friendly, offered us tours and the opportunity to take their classes, but weren’t pushy at all. The spot is quiet, the animals are cute, and there’s a great view of Rainier if you walk down the road a bit.
There aren’t designated camp sites, but a big field with the option to choose your own spot. We had a great time!

We loved staying here! Kandi and Mark (the hosts) are very kind people. The animals were adorable, the fresh bread and the fresh eggs (we purchased) were absolutely delicious and a nice change of pace for a van life breakfast. We had a water and power hook up available to us the whole stay and beautiful views of the sunset on one side of the farm and the moon on the other. If we end up in the area again we would definitely come back. Thanks Kandi and Mark! :)

Hosts are very laid back and allow you to choose your camp spot in their field. Plenty of space. Enjoyed all the farm animals. Portable potty was very clean.

Kandi and Mark were excellent hosts! We were greeted with friendly smiles and an excellent tour of their property and introduction to all of the animals. Our 4 year old quickly made friends with a child from another family that was staying as well. The kids were invited to help with morning chores so they were up early the next day to feed the animals! What a wonderful experience. Kandi has a cute little farm store and fresh eggs for purchase. We were given a power and water source and allowed to park in a nice level spot for our 5th wheel.
The location was close to a town for anything we needed and a short drive from Seattle which was our destination 3 of the 4 days we were here. I would highly recommend camping with the alpacas to anyone travelling through the area! Thanks Mark and Kandi for sharing your delightful oasis with us! We hope to visit again!
